Have to say I am disappointed. Originally purchased the boiler cover as I needed a service (recently moved in), and went with GOS as I want to support local business and their plans were a good price. I wanted peace of mind and ideally to save money (or at least spread the cost). After purchase, despite this not being mentioned anywhere on the website, I was told the service would be at the end of the 12 month cover, and that I would need to pay upfront for one (I was one month out) before cover commenced. I agreed but instead of conducting the service, only a survey was completed. I already felt like I had been misled but gave them the benefit of the doubt. After the survey report I was told I would need a few parts replacing (fair enough) but also a filter would need to be installed which was not possible in my set up without costly joinery work and critically not required for British Gas cover. On top of that, as the boiler was 8 years old I would need to pay 25% more per month (again, not mentioned on their website). They seem to only want to cover new boilers that have had a lot of work done up front and seeing as the point of boiler cover is to generally save money, I requested a refund. Throughout, the staff were friendly I cannot fault them. So overall I cannot recommend, because unless you have a new boiler and are happy to spend 100s installing features that other plan providers do not require, then you will not be getting the advertised price or covered at all. Overall a waste of my time.

Had issues with the whale pump in my wet room. The team members who came to replace the pump were very good, they explained what they'd done and we're very good. Thank you everyone from your back office staff to work men and women. Would highly recommend

Excellent company! Came out to service the boiler which was well overdue and is performing better than ever which showed how much it needed a service. The icing on the cake is that I accidentally overpaid the invoice as transposed numbers....they sorted it within hours and the difference was refunded promptly. Amazing service!

Had Sam and Ryan attended my property to replace my water cylinder. What a fantastic set of lads, eveything looks fantastic. Very clean job.

I don’t usually do reviews but in this case I felt I had to. While removing a radiator Saturday morning I noticed the valve was loose and it started leaking. I tried tightening it up but it still was leaking. At 11-30 I rang GOS and was put through to out of hours help desk. The lady took my details and said she would contact the plumber. At 11-40 he rang and said he would be here within the hour The valve could not be tightened and he had a spare in the van. He drained the system, fitted a new valve and refilled the system. I looked at my watch as he got in his van to leave, it was 12-30. A weekend phone call to fix in 1 hour I thought was amazing service from GOS

Ryan came and fitted my bathroom, He is the Best made me feel so comfortable in my own home and went above and beyond to get me a shower knowing i suffered with back problems he completely changed my bathroom and made adjustments to make it more aesthetically pleasing the bathroom looks lovely he has tiled behind the toilet and boxed the behind and the sink it looks fantastic i am so happy with it il post some pictures soon its a lovely sand stone effect tiles i love it so much ….but i strongly recommend using ryan as he is a perfectionist and a top laugh honestly best builder ever! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent service all round from planning to the work being completed. Everyone was really approachable, friendly, helpful and hard working. Absolute stunning job love my new bathroom

Excellent service all round when dealing with low pressure issues on my boiler. Diagnosed the issue quickly and helped the external gas transporter understand what they had to do to resolve the issue. Went above and beyond for us as a customer in doing so. Special mention to Chris our gas engineer and Julie for organising the works. Can’t speak highly enough of them.

A big thank you GOS for our en suite refurbishment, a bigger job than anticipated. The Job was coordinated by Kerry and led by Andrew, always on time and respectful of the working area, all the tradesmen were excellent and we are totally satisfied with our new en suite. Efficient, on time, very clean & tidy up after themselves, great finish to the kitchen and all work done managed by a great project manager in Kerry. Made the process smooth and as little disruption as possible, given the nature of a having a new kitchen. I would recommend to anyone.

We have used GOS several times now - for boiler installation, heating and plumbing issues. The service is always quick, efficient, friendly and cheerful. A first-rate company they will always be the first we turn to for heating and plumbing. A great family-run business with excellent engineers - big shout out for Tony this week. GOS have serviced all our plumbing and heating requirements for many years now, and have always provided excellent and prompt service. Pleasant, considerate staff and workmen, together with the knowledge that the firm can be relied upon to do a good job, make it a pleasure to do business with GOS Heating Ltd.

Sam and Liam arrived on time, provided protection for all flooring and units, did an amazing very neat job and left the place immaculate. Both guys had an amazing attitude and left us feeling very comfortable- no question was ignored and happy to work with us as some item estimate covered weren’t need. Kept us informed throughout and brought in support when needed with electrics (as wiring wasn’t as expected/should have been).. Looking to do some further work next year so will be definitely asking GOS to quote and for these guys to be given the work. Sam is very precise in his work and you’d never guess Liam had been with company a month given professionalism he showed and way he answered question. First class service- what more can I say.

Tony arrived on time as promised. Our central heating was fully inspected and safety checked in order to resolve a pressure loss issue. Every procedure was carefully explained and the fault identified and rectified in an expansion vessel very quickly. This service was professional clean and efficient. I shall use GOS Heating for my annual system service in future. Thankyou.

In Autumn 2023 I moved into a property with a quirky heating system that needed urgent replacement as the temperatures were falling. I contacted GOS and they ripped out the old heaters and replaced everything with a top-of-the-range Gas Combi and rads. This has worked efficiently. I have just had the first twelve monthly service; all good. As well as high quality products I liked the fact that the personnel are pleasant and punctual. Recommended.

Called GOS after the previous plumber couldn't fix a problem with the heating. The lady on the phone was really helpful and found an engineer just finishing up and sent him straight over. Chris was excellent, quickly diagnosing and explaining the problem. He was spot on and had it fixed within minutes. Really nice guy, and refreshing to meet someone with a solid understanding of heating systems and excellent customer service. Will definitely be calling GOS first next time.

Thoroughly impressed by the experience of dealing with GOS who ultimately installed a new boiler and replaced radiator valves and thermostats. From Nicki, in the office; Tony, who did the survey; and Dave & Richard, who did the installation, the whole process was undertaken in a professional, timely & friendly manner. What also impressed was when, even after being paid, I alerted GOS to a slight leak from one of the radiator valves they arranged for an engineer to visit the next day to remedy the matter. Would I use GOS again? A definite YES!

Great service from GOS Heating, we recently had a full system fitted. Lovely chap did a quote and survey, the installers Sam and Richard were friendly and professional. Sales and admin staff very friendly. Whole experience effortless and pleasant, couldn’t ask for more. Having a modern central heating system has transformed our older property.

GOS Services are professional, reliable and do a brilliant job! They have been doing my yearly old boiler check every year. The work they did for me was massive regarding getting a new boiler installed as my requirements was more than just a straightforward replacement. The work took two days, the guys were very clean and thorough. I also got them to do some joinery for me…Again a professional, clean finish. I highly recommend them and will again be getting my boiler serviced with them next year.
