Richard sorted a collection of small electrical issues that we had around the house. Highly recommended for a professional and friendly service.

Richard was called to have a look at our aging (30yo) bathroom fan which had stopped working. Finding it was beyond Richard quoted £70 to get a like for like replacement. After looking at the fitting of the old fan Richard said we didn't need an exact replacement as it was too powerful for the job and quoted £40 for the new unit. I found him very professional and knowledgeable in his field. Thanks Richard

Richard was amazing from the first phone call, he actually tried to solve my problem without coming out and was very clear and patient on the phone. When he did come out, he was spot on time, very friendly (even put up with our yappy dogs) and fixed the problem in no time at all. No stupid or excessive call out fees, just an honest, knowledgeable tradesman which is a rare find these days... have already recommended him to our local whatsapp group.

Richard completed all the electrics on our complex eco new build. He is a consummate professional, nothing is too much trouble and he works efficiently and neatly. He’s a superb electrician who can solve most issues and even prevent problems from occurring through his experience and foresight. An amazing guy to have on your team, who I can heartily recommend - although I don’t want to promote him too much otherwise he will never be available when I need him in the future!

Richard installed an EV charger for us this week. He was brilliant and I couldn't recommend his work more highly. He was quick and efficient and really helpful on the follow up that we needed to do. I felt in the safest of hands. Thanks, Rich. We'll use you again!

Hyde Electrical Services installed an EV charger for us. Richard was excellent and professional throughout. He provided great advice, was friendly and also reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Hyde Electrical advised me on the EV chargers I required as I have solar panels and needed to prioritise car charging. Having been introduced to HE by my usual (and trusted) electrician I took his advice and accepted their (reasonable) quote. The installer (Richard) came at the time specified, installed the two units with no fuss, and set up the software and the apps on my smartphone. I do not imagine I will have to install EV chargers again but if I did I would use Hyde Electrical and I will certainly recommend them to friends.

Richard came to fit some smoke detectors and a light fitting. I’m writing this review during “corona time” and he checked first that it was still ok to come. We had a sensible conversation about managing social distancing, hygiene etc. He turned up, did the job, quickly and well and headed off Into the distance to solve someone else’s electrical problems. Recommend!

I asked Richard to investigate an issue with my sockets. He was quickly able to identify and resolve the issue - at far less time, cost, and disruption than a previous electrician had suggested it needed. Extremely pleased with the service, and wouldn't hesitate to use again.

I used Richard and his team for a complete rewire of my house earlier this year. His team were professional polite and clean. They were in and out in the time scale promised and did a fantastic job and I have already referred them on to friends and family as I know they will do the business for them too. Keep the good work up!

I have used Hyde Electrical a number of times over the last ten years. They have never failed to deliver a great solution no matter how challenging the project or how obscure the fault. Their data networking is also of the highest quality both internal and external. I really appreciate that they strive to find proper engineering solutions and not a bodge. When Richard says "leave it to me" you know the problem will be solved.

Rewire of house and garage including installation of internal and external sensor lights. All work done to a great standard, Richard and Luke are very friendly, patient and worked around our hectic family home to deliver work on schedule and to budget. Would highly recommend.

Spoke to Richard at 9.55am on a Saturday morning, before new tenants took occupation of the property. He was in London but managed to get to the house in Tring, identify the issue and solve it within 3 hrs! Customer service like this is a rarity. Reliable tradesman that does what he says he will do. There’s one reason not to recommend Richard – if I tell you how good he is, he’ll be so busy that he’ll never have time to do any further work for me again. There’s nothing I could fault – he arrived at the expected time, to the exact minute; he completed all planned work efficiently; he checked everything thoroughly and warned me before checking the smoke alarm; he suggested further work that was required but checked first before incurring any additional costs; and he cleaned up after himself. I wanted to award you 10 out of 10, but it appears the maximum score is 5. Nice work!

Richard has now completed 2 jobs at our home and on both occasions has been fantastic. Very quick, tidy and a lovely guy to boot!! Would certainly recommend and will be using him again...probably quite soon!! Thanks Hyde Electrical 😊

Great work. Richard fitted a couple of bathroom extractor fans and did a complete check on the electrics of our new home. Wouldn’t hesitate to get Hyde Electrical in again and highly recommend to others.

Having lost lights in our kitchen, Richard came out to us, diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. This is the 2nd time we have used him and have been really pleased with the work and would highly recommend him.

Very happy with the service provided. I needed to get some new plug points an lights fitted, and Richard struck me as being the person who could so it most efficiently. That was indeed the case, as on the day he worked extremely quietly and efficiently, and got the work done for a very good price. He is also very polite and courteous, and even phoned me to say he would be 10 minutes late!
