Awkward EV charger installation

Applegarth installed an EV charger in our home. Not the easiest job as there’s a large cable run required from the charger to the meter (located inconveniently in the middle of the house in a tucked away kitchen cupboard). When Peter conducted the survey we discussed various options and he reassured me it could be done and without being an eyesore. The scope of their services gave me confidence that they could deliver on their promises and they did. The team have done an excellent job, no cable visible and they went above and beyond to find a route that met my aims. We are delighted with the end result. I’ve no hesitation in recommending their work.

Applegarth have looked after my Solar hot water and sorted out Solar PV after original installer closed down. Very good service seeing as Applegarth were not the original installer. Two years ago inverter failed and Applegarth (not the original installer) sorted and upgraded. First class service and a very reasonable price and very quickly installed. I then sought a number of quotes for installation of batteries. It was no surprise that Applegarth were quickest to answer, visit to give a quote and were the most competitive. Batteries now installed. Minimal disruption and a very quick and tidy installation by a very efficient team. Response time and service have been first class and great value. Brilliant firm, explained all the questions I asked in a friendly way. They set up my Solar connections on the internet for me, excellent job, thank you. I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of Solar panels and batteries.

Excellent job. Fitted EV charger. The guys who did the install were prompt, tidy and very friendly and polite, explaining how to use the charge point app and other helpful technical stuff. All done on time at a very reasonable price. Peter, who I think is the boss is possibly the nicest, most honest tradesman I have ever dealt with. Top job, would highly recommend.

Pete and his colleague came in December and fitted my EV wallbox charger and completely replaced my 40 year old consumer fuse box which was no small job. They were both here on time and worked late to make sure everything was done to my specification but mainly as they are the experts offered sound advice, like I said, it wasn't a straight forward job. The fee was were very reasonable, and i cant recommend them highly enough, both really nice people and took pride in there work.

Solar PV Sytem repair and modification

Investigated a problem with out Solar PV system. Fitted a Marlec iBoost controller to the system. Prompt, courteous professional service at a competitive price. Would definitely use them again.
