For anyone thinking about Solar panels, I can thoroughly recommend Russ. From the initial informal chat about my requirements and Russ’s recommendations through to installing the panels, battery etc he was excellent. After sending a quote by email, there was no pressure from him at all. Very neat and tidy, friendly and polite. All applications and paperwork etc were done for me. He has always been available for any questions, before the installation and has helped with a couple of problems (user errors) with the app, since the installation. I am very pleased with the installation. Finally, he was actually cheaper than the online quotes I received and didn’t require any advance payment/deposit. So, my advice is, stop thinking about it and contact him now.

I would not hesitate to recommend Russ to anyone. He came to give us a quote on a solar system with a battery back in late December. At that time we were having frequent power cuts and due to health issues required a reliable power supply. By Christmas week he had fitted the solar system with a backup battery; with the panels being installed later in the New Year. A Christmas Day power cut locally was only a short message on the Tesla app for us. All our energy concerns have vanished and at a reasonable price. Russ has been available to help with the whole ‘ off grid’ process; making the whole experience stress free.

Solar iBoost relocation

Really pleased with the service when moving my Solar iBoost. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and I was given plenty of help and clear, honest advice throughout the process. Nothing felt rushed, and any questions I had were answered patiently and clearly. The work itself was done to a very high standard, with great attention to detail and care taken to leave everything tidy afterwards. It was reassuring to deal with Russ again as he is so knowledgeable and approachable. I would certainly recommend Russ to anyone and would happily use him again for any future work.

Russ was the only person to come up with a practical and lower cost EV Charger solution for our new hybrid car. Definitely not a standard instal given the meter and garage locations. He offered practical considered advice completing the job efficiently and effectively and at a very competitive price. There was a 4G connectivity issue which Russ followed up with Ohme, the EV charger supplier, resulting in replacement of the unit under warranty. Like the initial installation the replacement instal was completed quickly and effectively. His help and advice in linking the vehicle, Ohme and utility company Apps was very well received for what seemed quite complex to a novice user. Everything is working as intended. A great find and a good guy for the job.

Fantastic service. Very clear communication and advice over what is possible. On the two days of the installation, messaged to give start time and what would be done each day. Cleaned up very well. Reliable, knowledgeable and an excellent installation

Russ made an excellent job of installing our EV charger, despite the heavy rainfall. In addition, he made sure I was able to use the equipment and relevant app, which was no easy task as my technical skills are somewhat lacking!!! He also took the trouble to contact me the following day ensuring I was successful in charging my car and operating the app. Thanks Russ, a great piece of work.

So reassuring to find a good tradesman…

So reassuring to find a good tradesman who is not only first class with the job, but also everything else that goes along with it. The communication from start to finish was top-notch which is normally one of my main frustrations in dealing with trades in the past. We had Russ come to quote us for some solar panels and an inverter with batteries too. The work was done exactly when he said it would be and it was so neat and tidy while he was working and also the clean up afterwards was spot on! A huge thanks to Russ and all the team at Wave Renewables. Could not recommend them enough!

2 visits from Waverenewables

Waverenewables came first to install an Ohme car charger at our new address. The service was swift and extremely efficient. The whole process took less than a fortnight and the charger works brilliantly. The second occasion was to install a new consumer unit (the previous one being aged and full) and to install a 10cm feed for the electric hob and oven I wanted. This took the best part of a day but the service was friendly, explanatory, helpful and easy. I would thoroughly recommend Waverenewables.

EV charger install

Had an EV charger installed last year by Russ and it worked amazingly. Due to moving I needed it removed and reinstalled at the new address, contacted Russ and he fitted me in within a couple weeks and managed to to remove and reinstall on the same day. Very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks Russ

Russ installed 15kw battery storage system for us to . He came to quote and made us feel comfortable with his knowledge and professionalism. Kept us informed all through installion and was extremely neat and tidy through out . Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and use again.
