After extensive research, we decided to go with Tile Energy — and we’re very pleased to say it was absolutely the right decision! From the moment Andy arrived to carry out the initial survey, we’ve been impressed. Everyone who has been on site throughout the process has been professional, friendly, and hardworking. They are all a real credit to the company. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tile Energy to anyone considering their services.

Tile Energy installed panels the week before Christmas. The installation process was fraught with issues. Whilst in the loft they caused a water leak by, I assume, stepping on pipe work. Luckily we spotted this the next day, so the bedroom ceiling only needed redecorating. They also burnt a hole in the lounge carpet, that needed a repair, and cracked an outside brick whilst drilling through the wall for the internet connection cable. To top it all off one of the panels was faulty , and this took 5 visits to fix, which each time meant more engineers climbing all over the roof. During the 6 weeks it took to resolve the issues, the communication from Tile Energy was poor, with little empathy for the upset caused. The actual installation team were ok to communicate with, but Tile certainly lack customer management. I realise the issues were compounded by the Christmas break, but being left not knowing when and how things were to be resolved was very poor. At the end the owner offered a measly amount of compensation (£60) for all the damage, worry and time we spent resolving these issues. Tile Energy did cover the cost of all repairs, but did not appreciate the amount of effort and work from our side. A real shame to have to give a bad review, as we chose Tile Energy because they are a local firm who came highly recommended.

We were recommended Tile Energy by family who used them and we have heard their aftercare is good. They also have a high number of positive reviews online. We explained what we planned to use the solar for and due to the positioning of our house, we found we would benefit from panels on the front and back. We also had a powerwall installed. We have found Tile to be very professional and the communication has been very good. The fitters were great, they didn't do anything without checking with us first in terms of placement and explained how to use it all and helped set it up with the apps. They tidied up and completed the work in a timely manner. We did have an issue with some damage caused by the scaffolders, but Tile resolved the issue for us very quickly and we are very grateful that Tile has sorted it for us. Thanks Tile Energy, we are very pleased with our system and we are looking forward to seeing the results in the summer. We are already seeing very positive results even in these short winter days and we have also benefitted during a recent powercut in the area. We now have an EV and its really convenient being able to charge from home.

I'm local to Swindon and so was looking for a local firm to advise on, and ultimately install, a solar & battery system for my home. Over the course of the past few months I've dealt with several people at Tile Energy, from project co-ordinators, to surveyors, to the installers themselves. All of our communication has been stellar. Unfortunately for us, our DNO (SSEN), couldn't approve our initial requested design which meant we had to alter the plans. But Tile were more than happy to come back out and run through the options and various implications face to face to ensure we were comfortable that we could make a well informed decision on how best to proceed. The system was installed this week and the chaps on site were all very friendly and helpful when I inevitably kept interrupting to ask questions. The work carried out was also very thoughtful and tidy, seeking out the best options for where to route cables etc. Overall I'm very happy with our choice of installer and am looking forward to generating plenty of free energy from the sun once winter is out of the way.

Thanks for wasting 2 days off for me, last week you cancelled an appointment an evening before you were meant to meet us. Now today you message 2hrs before an appointment to say you don't think the house is suitable for solar based off a single Google map image. Guess I'll go with one of the 2 other companies who actually bothered to come and design the system we needed. Incase you were curious we've managed to get 21 panels, (consideriby more than the 6 you took a guess at) 20kw storage with gateway switchover. Business must be good if you can turn away a 20k install without even a site visit. If I ever get asked for my experience with solar I'll be sure to tell anyone to avoid your company.

Tileenergy have been fantastic and thorough throughout - we're now 6 months down the line (since installation) and we're very pleased with their support service when issues arise. We had a different solar solution and company for our last house and they were very unresponsive once they had been paid - so we were extra careful this time and so far have lived up to what they promised. There have been some issues with solaredge since a recent update, which I notice on the facebook community others have had difficulty getting help with from their supplier but Tileenergy have been very helpful providing workarounds whilst solaredge work it out.

Just had Tesla Powerwall (more money for Mad Elon) and 24 solar panels installed. Two days of professional work carried out in a timely and tidy manner by a crew of knowledgeable individuals. You're not going to do this more than once - so avoid cheaper equipment and solutions offered by bulk buying schemes and fit the best by the best

Tile Energy have just I stalled solar panels and battery to my house. The installation was undertaken efficiently and I was kept undated when the installers and electricians were due to call. In my original survey ,it was suggested that a tp link WiFi extender was required. When the electrician came, I asked if it would be possible to hard wire the link as opposed to wi-fi as reading reviews, the link extenders are prone to only last 12 months. The electrician, Simon, was more than happy to hard wire the system.. I am now awaiting the documents to submit to energy company to get my seg payments.

Had Tile Energy back this week to install an EV charger into our solar/battery power setup that they installed a couple of years ago. They have done another fab job with this installation - Simon worked closely with us to find the most suitable cable run and has done a really tidy job. Very happy and once again really impressed with the overall service provided by Tile Energy.

Tile Energy installed my solar system 9 months ago. The whole experience has been positive and the system has worked well untill recently. In the last month the SolarEdge inverter failed but importantly the quick and professional response from Tile Energy has been first class in restoring a working system.

I have been really impressed with Tile Energy. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, helpful and communicated well. When I had an issue, the team were out to me to fix it within a couple of hours. I would definitely recommend Tile Energy.

A very professional company, engineers were all friendly and completed the installation in superfast time. I am very pleased with the price I paid and the quality of work done. I would definitely recommend this company for solar panel installation.

From the very start we felt like we were in good hands. James talked all our options through with us and the whole process of getting a quote, accepting a quote, getting DNA approval and finally having the panels fitted went through very smoothly. I had been shopping around for Solar panels & Battery. Every company gave me the hard sell with repeated follow-up calls. Craig came to the house to talk about my requirements and to work out a quote. I explained that I am in the early stages and wouldn't be able to proceed until the new year. He respected that, he answered any and all questions quickly that I had in the following couple of months. As I live a few miles away from their shop, I even went to see the equipment they install personally and was made very welcome by the staff. When I was in a position to move forward, I simple sent Craig an email and got the ball rolling. We arranged a day that would be best for me. The equipment was delivered on time. With the scaffolding up, the fitters made quick work of installing the panels and battery. They explained in depth about how to operate it should I need to. The fitters were great guys, worked quickly and politely, and made a minimal amount of disruption while I worked from home. I would recommend this company to anyone considering solar panels, Battery or EV charging point. They supplied great equipment and in fact the same equipment as a more expensive quote. It was actually better equipment than I was initially quoted for and kept at the same price. Also, a local company rather than some faceless multinational. In today's economy, I feel it's important to support local businesses.

Installation is now just over 1 year ago. The system has worked flawlessly throughout. The team at Tile Energy are a pleasure to deal with, from initial survey through to completion. These are dedicated professionals who work to high standards and take their customers seriously. Yes, they're not the cheapest out there, but it pays to work with a well-established business that installs good quality products and gives you a system that functions reliably. I would highly recommend Tile Energy to anyone who is considering a solar system.

They explained the process clearly and answered all my questions patiently. The solar panels are working efficiently, capturing plenty of sunlight, and the battery system is a game-changer, storing energy that I can use even during power outages. It is often said that you get what you pay for and this was delivered in spades by Tile Energy. Having made enquiries with several competitors, Tile Energy was the only PV supplier and installer that made a home visit before committing to a quotation. The Tile Energy surveyor was noticeably more experienced and knowledgeable than the others I had spoken to. This coupled with their offer of more advanced Solar Edge system monitoring and panel optimisation and higher capacity solar panels than the competitors made my decision a firm one. The installation work was done efficiently with care and tidiness. The post installation administrative work was also handled with care and courtesy. I would recommend this supplier to all.

I checked out multiple solar providers but I really had trust in Andy Tasker. It took a 2 years to commit with Andy always available to answer questions but never a pushy salesman. Having made the decision the team put us into their schedule and came on time. The weather was appalling but that didn’t stop them. It was the first Powerwall 3 Simon and Liam had installed so maybe I got special treatment but they were fantastic. The job was efficiently completed even with my constant interruptions (natural curiosity). Up and running and loving watching the interactions of the panels, the grid and the Powerwall. I’ve become a bore to family and friends. I highly recommend Tile Energy.

I can’t recommend TILE ENERGY BOWMAN HOUSE, HOPE WELL HOUSE, WHITEHILL LN, ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT, SWINDON SN4 7DB highly enough. They originally installed our PV panels and Tesla PowerWall 2 battery to an excellent standard. Having experienced an issue recently they were in attendance within 48 hours testing the installation in consultation with the equipment manufacturers. Within a week they had established the issue and immediately attended to remedy it. We now have our solar powered installation fully functional again. Nothing was too much trouble for them, great communication and update. Workmanship was of the highest quality with as little disruption as possible. See attached photos. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Not something you can often say in this day and age. A massive thank to to Tile Energy.

We decided to use Tile Energy following a full house survey and system overview provided by Craig from their sales team. We agreed on 16 solar panel, Solar Edge inverter system and a TESLA Powerwall 2 battery. The customer service project team provided us with an outstanding very professional and friendly service throughout. The installation team took just over one day to complete the system installation, the quality of their workmanship was of a very high standard. Overall, Tile Energy provided us with a first class service with an amazing commitment to customer service. We would highly recommend Tile Energy to anyone looking to install a solar panel and battery storage system.

Had problems, but fixed them all without aggravating

It took almost a year to install solar panels vs 6 months against originally anticipated. However, they told me a few times that there were no Tesla PowerWalls and panels, offered me a different battery to finish installation faster and replied on all my calls Now panels are installed and I am happy to see how I currently cover 100% of my consumption in most of the days

6kW Solar PV system with Tesla Gateway & Powerwall 2 Tile Energy have provided me with a positive, informed experience from start to finish. From my initial contact after an industry tradesman recommendation for the type of system I required, all Tile staff have been helpful. Leke, the sales lead engaged with good, clear comms and pandered to my inquisitive nature supplying me with sound answers to my many queries. Although my order coincided with the start of the 2022 UK energy crisis, lead times were explained (and kept to). Whilst I may have had to prompt for feedback and information at times, the responses were always forthcoming and timely. The handover pack I was supplied with was comprehensive and in my dealings with the electrical installation team I found them friendly, efficient and professional. Overall, I would have no hesitation in recommending Tile Energy for anybody considering a solar PV installation - indeed l already have.

Excellent from start to finish. Leke offered great advice and helped design a system to meet my needs and the entire experience has been exemplary. Andy and his team arrived on the day and completed the task as planned. They were a pleasure to host and did a great job. I now have a 33 PV panel SolarEdge based system with a LH Chem battery and immersion tank Smart Energy Hot Water to use excess solar - vary happy. I highly recommend Tile Energy Ltd.

I am pleased with Tile Energy ...

I am pleased with Tile Energy who installed my solar panels before Christmas. The CEO and office staff were very helpful, informative and extremely patient in answering my questions. They were also very efficient in getting the job done and paperwork through before the Christmas shut down. The only glitch so far (hence 4* rather than 5) is that the installed pattern of panels does not match the survey. The installer was critical of the survey and used his professional judgement to change the layout. So far, the two panels repositioned behind the chimney are producing significantly less energy than the others. Apart from this, all seems to be working well, with detailed data on the phone app.
