CC Solar provided a great service, installing my system in a little over a week after I decided to go ahead. Pricing is very competitive and the the team are very friendly, work very quickly and kept everything tidy throughout the process.

Having these solar panels fitted was a very good experience for me. All the men that did the work were very helpful and pleasant every day. It was a joy to have them around. I would recommend them to everyone who wanted good work done efficiently at a reasonable price .

Great team who were friendly throughout. Delivered a great installation and left the place tidy. We also used them 10 years ago for our last house and everything was working well when we left so am sure their installation quality and the kit they provide will stand the test of time!

Excellent company, friendly and professional. They installed solar and battery 3 years ago, when we had a recent problem they came round immediately, diagnosed that the inverter had a fault and replaced it under warranty at no charge. Would highly recommend them. The system has massively reduced our electricity bills

I have no hesitation in recommending CC Solar. We were looking to have solar panels and batteries but then went for the full package of a heat pump too! The latter took a little time to consider and I had lots of questions but Trevor answered each one and visited with the Aux heat pump specialist who was really impressive. The whole installation of panels, batteries and heat pump was excellent and all the team were just fantastic - friendly, helpful and professional. The aftercare too has been first class to ensure I am confident with the system and am using it well. Thank you!

Liam and his team at CC Solar installed 88 solar panels on our factory unit saving us at least 30-40 % on our bills, in the summertime our monthly bill has reduced from £1200 to £500, we have now had a export meter installed to sell excess electricity back to the grid. I've had two installations done by Liam and his team, and overall, I've been very pleased with the experience—even though we did run into a few issues along the way. Liam has been quick to respond and worked closely with SolarEdge to help resolve everything. The team has also been great about coming to site at short notice, including when they had to relocate the DC cables after we discovered they were blocking the MVHR unit installation. Any minor hiccups have been more than made up for by their clear commitment and passion for providing a great service.

Three years ago, Trevor and his team worked on our PV installation and gave us solar panels, inverter, batteries and a car charger that have been reliable and more than proved their worth. They came in on time and in budget with the installation. They are also accessible and willing to do what it takes to solve a problem if one comes up, as they did last month on site. CC Solar installed solar panels and an inverter at my house in May 2015. In April 2025 the inverter stopped working. I contacted CC Solar as the inverter was under a 10 year warranty. CC Solar raised a claim with the supplier and got a replacement under warranty, they then (for a small fee) installed the replacement. Thanks CC Solar for being an honest and trustworthy company.

Excellent Customer Service

As an existing customer, I called for support as solar panel app not working and not showing data. Trevor soon diagnosed that a rodent had chewed through the LAN cable to garage where panels are fitted . He arranged for lovely Dazza to pop back today, repair and join the cable. Efficient as alway and no charge. Highly recommend with outstanding customer service and a great local family business 100% 💯👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Impressive Solar PV installation

CC Solar provided an impressive service from quotation to installation at a competitive price. The 12 solar panels and electrical equipment was completed in one day including scaffold and looks very tidy. The team were very professional and courteous, and respectful when accessing the house to get to the roof space. The scaffold was left up an extra day so that I could undertake some maintenance so an added bonus. The panels are working well and overall a very satisfied customer.

A really impressive small company

A really impressive small company. They were very friendly and informative throughout. The job was to install 10 solar panels and battery, Their price was very competitive and they kept exactly to the quotation. The weather was terrible when the panels went up- heavy rain and wind, The work would have finished in a day if the delivery people hadn't sent the kit to the wrong address! The installation worked perfectly from the first switch on. Reg and his assistant deserve a medal I would recommend this company highly.

A bit late with the review

A bit late with the review as we are really getting into the off-grid lifestyle . CC Solar was recommended to us by the plumber who services our gas boiler every year so we had no reservations in contacting them to fit extra solar panels and battery storage to our existing system and they did not disappoint . Very quick and tidy , keenly priced and everything works as it should. They are always available to give after sales advice and we now have an app that shows how everything is working . What more can you ask ?

Returned a couple of weeks later to explain our controls as retired takes twice as long to sink in. So much patience explained in a easy guide. We were provided with a detailed quotation after the initial consultation and site survey. The installation team did an excellent job, they were professional, efficient and courteous. We are very pleased with the installation and would have no hesitation in recommending CC Solar to others.

I am thoroughly satisfied with the professional service I have received from Trevor and the CC Solar team. I found them from a local search and was satisfied with the truthful approach to the quotation and practicality of what could and could not be achieved on my property. The panels were ordered and delivered on the day of installation. The team of 6 worked quickly and very efficiently each carrying out their own tasks all focused on the final installation. A new SWA feed was laid from house to garage and all ancillary panels installed neatly and out of the way. Liam even reworked my existing consumer unit to fit in with their new system. The roof panels were erected and securely fixed to the garage roof, everything commissioned and handed over at the afternoon of day two. Trevor and team are all very friendly and did not mind my questions of why and how, but do like a lot of coffee. All in all 100% recommended and now I am self-generating electricity and very satisfied. Highly recommended.

The quote they provided did not alter over the period between their initial visit and the installation about 6 months later. Our initial planned installation date was not possible at late notice, and despite this unexpected problem CC Solar worked with us, and gave us a new date. The team arrived ahead of schedule to get the work started, and all of them were polite, friendly and helpful. They worked efficiently and tidily, and completed the installation of 21 solar panels, batteries and all the associated work, in 2 days. Liam was particularly helpful getting the App installed on several devices. We can already see the obvious benefits of harnessing the solar energy for our Club, and we would recommend CC Solar to others. A great local company.

I found Trevor and his team really nice and professional throughout the process and installation. I had no prior knowledge of solar panels, what was needed or required, basically where to start. I emailed Trevor who sent me a solar pack with different prices on it for solar panels and solar panels with a battery. He carried out a survey on the property and advised an installation date. I was kept informed by his install team about what was going on during the installation and shown how to use the app that accompanied the equipment. The installation was completed on time, during a couple of days. Whilst walking the dog, I have found myself looking at other properties with solar panels, that either don't have anti bird mesh around them, or they are not straight and a little wonky. I'm really glad that I went with CC Solar because the workmanship is of a high quality. They did a really good job. If you are interested in getting solar panels and not sure where to start, drop Trevor and CC Solar an email, I could not recommend them highly enough

From start to finish CC Solar was absolutely brilliant. Trevor is such a friendly knowledgeable man and so good at email and telephone contact. Very competitive price too. Scaffolding was put up on the Monday, the panels arrived in the afternoon, Tuesday morning 5 guys arrived at 0745hrs and worked solidly until the system was fully up and running at the end of the day. Ryan and the team were just brilliant. The scaffolding was taken down on the Wednesday. We are so please we decided to choose CC Solar to carry out the works, will recommend to others and have done so already.

We had been considering solar for several months and had several quotes from different suppliers. What sets this company apart from the others is their level of customer service. Communication has been superb from the outset with a home visit, quote, acceptance and an install date all on the same day. The quote was very detailed and similar in price (if not cheaper) to others. CC Solar were the only company to recommend a flat roof solution for our dormer and bird proofing. Communication and responses to questions prior to install was great. The installation went well and it was clear that the guys take pride in the quality of their work and worked hard to make the panels as good as possible despite our uneven roof. Installation took about a day and a half and Liam took the time to explain everything to me including the web interface. We had 13 panels installed with an inverter and battery. Only day 2 but we basically did not use any grid energy yesterday after the system was commissioned. On a cloudy morning today, we were still generating enough to cover our usage and over the day have generated much more than we have used. If you are thinking about getting solar, these are the people to help you.

After a home survey and a very comprehensive document explaining our potential system, plus a fare quote from CC Solar we agreed to take the team on for our install of 9 solar panels and battery storage. We were kept informed and over the day and a half it took to install our system, the team arrived promptly and worked fast as a team, very polite and able to answer my many questions.
