Aaron and his work team were amazing when they visited the property to fix my electric gate, I found them to be professional, polite, caring and knowledgeable. Jake at the HQ is also extremely responsive and great with customers, he put me at ease that my gate would be fixed quickly. I’ve been let down by so many gate security companies, these are a breath of fresh air.

A J Taylor installed both solar and air conditioning in our home this year. There were a great many people involved both presales, during the works and post sales, every one of them was a pleasure to have around. Nothing was too much trouble, they worked tirelessly and efficiently to delivery precisely what we bought. An absolutely excellent company to do business with. It’s such a delight to find a company that brings joy and not trauma to a major project around the home.

We used AJ Taylor for installing a EV charger. From the get go - they were very response. Tom H, from the EV team, was very helpful in suggesting alternatives and options. We had initially looked at an energy provider to install this charger - their quote was not only higher but also more intrusive/ disruptive. Tom/ team kept us updated regularly if there was a deviation from the plan. The installation crew - Callum, Louie - did a good job, and also did a solid post-job cleaning. Thank you, AJT.

Unfortunately not a great experience with this company. 1) some of the work was left undone : plugs were left unscrewed without any screws at our disposal. The team didn't communicate it and had to come back to fix it. 2) one plug in the bedroom still can't be completely screwed back as the metal from the box doesn't leave enough space 3) the team had communicated about our electrical shower being too powerful for the wiring. We explained we were going to get rid of it within a month and it had been agreed (on two occasions, with the manager and the team on site) to leave it as it is. The team ended up disconnecting the shower WITHOUT letting us know and then offered to reconnect it with a full upgrade of the wiring at the cost of 400£. We will be hiring another team to fix what wasn't done properly and for any future work. We do not recommend going with this company.

Fabulous service! After a long time waiting on another provider to no avail, they were communicative and easy to arrange a job with. Shout out to Tom who was great; professional, friendly, and handled it super quickly.

An incredible experience from survey to install. Great customer service throughout. Offered a free visit. Then really quick to provide a very competitive quotation. Fast and thorough install. Great bunch of lads that completed install too. There was a slight error with the provided cable but rectified promptly and without any inconvenience. Would use for future work!

Did a great job on our solar installation (panels, battery and inverter) - friendly & professional staff who worked hard and left everything looking neat and tidy afterwards - you can possibly find cheaper if you shop around but overall they were really good - would recommend them.

Called this company on the first day back after Christmas break on 6th Jan ,after they were recommended , 5 x calls and 2 x emails later couldn’t book a simple quote for a full re wire over the phone had to be passed to a manager. 24 th Jan gave up all hope .Poor customer service and communication.

Excellent service from A J Taylor. By coincidence, we had two unrelated electrical issues within a week. Communication was very good. They answered the phone each time, called back as promised and were polite, friendly and professional. They were able book someone to visit very quickly, who turned up at the allocated time. Callum, the electrician, successfully completed both complex jobs and was outstanding. He was polite, very professional and carefully and sensibly went about the work to isolate and eventually fix the issues. (One of the jobs involving the sewage pump was quite unpleasant, but Callum fixed it undaunted!) In conclusion, highly recommend A J Taylor and electrician, Callum, was brilliant.

A J Taylor have just supplied and fitted an additional Tesla battery. Every stage of the installation went to plan, every one I spoke to was helpful, especially the installation team. So one happy customer.

Telephoned for a repair to an electrical socket connecting the oven. Very friendly service from office staff and as I work different shifts they accommodated my half days for Callum to attend to fix the electrical socket which was in a tight space. He managed to get the part required. We also chatted about football - Leeds here but soft spot for Brighton! The Chestnut Tree House is a Children's Charity and a very worthy charity having had a great neice treated/cared for there a few years ago. Thanks

AJ Taylor installed 6 solar panels and a Tesla battery to our home. The whole process was well managed and installed on time. The installation team, led by Matt, was very professional. In particular we appreciated the excellent communication at all levels of the firm. Very customer focussed with good post completion support. A really positive experience.

We had a complicated situation with a faulty cable in the ceiling leaving us with no lights in three rooms and Ashley patiently explored all the possible options and sorted out the problem. He and his colleagues were very polite and hard working - thank you.

An absolute disaster of a company. First, they sent an electrician who did not understand the job and came with the wrong materials. He also didn't have some altogether! Luckily, I noticed he was inserting the incorrect bulbs and had him fix it, but then he left for several hours to get the dimmers we wanted, only to come back empty-handed! He said he can't complete the job and left?? We contacted AJ Taylor, and explained the situation. Weeks go by and randomly, the electrician is at our door on a Friday night! No heads up, nothing. We were just leaving so we had to ask him to leave also. It was such a mess! Months were going by and the job was still not getting done! In the end, we felt so pushed around, dismissed and so unimportant that we asked to cancel the rest of the job and paid for what we had done. The company did not try to alleviate any of the difficulties we faced, nor amend the price to reflect the poor service we received. We felt like we weren't AJ Taylor's priority because it was a small job. If you have a small job, I do not recommend this company. The job is STILL not done in our home and we are looking for alternative electricians. Poor service and communication.

Outstanding firm. We had a charger for our car and powerwall fitted the workmen were friendly and really knew there stuff. We had two small issues spoke to Ashley in the office he was really helpful . 20min later the owner of the firm called me back to settle any dispute and gave us his personal number if we had any more questions. Great firm great staff and a great price🙏
