I had a brilliant experience with Energy Concerns. Todd was friendly, honest, and explained everything clearly from the start. The installation was tidy, professional, and the system has been performing better than I expected—especially the battery. Communication was excellent throughout. Delighted I chose them and would highly recommend for solar and battery installs.

Energy Concerns did a great job on our Solar Panel installation, we had 20 panels installed with a SigEnergy Inverter Battery and gateway! Todd was great from the first point of contact, with a video call explaining everything and showing us how the SigEnergy system works. The installation was smooth, there was no mess and Steve & Lance were very professional with Clear communication throughout. I would recommend Energy Concerns to anyone that asks, not a local company to me as I am 2 hours away in Whaplode Lincolnshire. However they felt like the best company for the job 😊

Energy Concerns did a brilliant job on our 16-panel solar install—8 panels on each side of the roof and the gateway for home backup. From the first call to the final handover, we were kept informed every step of the way. The full install was wrapped up in just 3 days, and they worked around our needs without any fuss. Price was competitive, the plan was clear, and the team was friendly, tidy, and professional. Five days after the install, you’d struggle to tell they’d even been here—other than the sunshine turning into savings, of course. I wouldn’t think twice about recommending Energy Concerns.

I recently had solar panels installed by energy concerns. From start to finish the support and service was excellent. Todd was very helpful and responsive to every query we had making the process stress free. Furthermore the cost of installation was really competitive. In terms of the installation this was done with a minimum of impact and everything left spotless after. Of particular note was that the installation was done in parallel to other building work. This drew a comment from the builders that Todd and Lance were ‘great lads’ Highly recommend them.

I chose Energy Concerns to fit my solar system consisting 10 Aiko (Gen 3, 470W) panels coupled with Sigenergy 5kW inverter and 8kWh battery. They were the only company I contacted who did a site visit before giving a quote. Communication and fitting was excellent, and everyone is friendly and polite. Energy Concerns fitted solar panels and battery system to our church hall roof. It is a large system (26.4kW panels and 16kWh battery) and was fitted in one week. I'd definitely recommend them. They arrived when they said they would, finished when they said they would, and caused no bother to the church hall users. The installation quality looks great and the system performance since installation is excellent. They were also very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Todd, Steve & Lance were amazing. From the outset, Todd was very informative and explained the options to suit my requirements. This company uses a flashy software product to provide a very detailed quote, and their system kept me updated with each stage of the process from booking the scaffolding, scheduling the works and even provided the date when the rubbish & waste was collected. The quotation contained mini videos to explain each stage and component, which made it easier to understand. The attention to detail during the installation was outstanding. They removed my guttering to hide the main cable behind it, leaving a nice clean finish. Steve is meticulous with his wiring and made a nice, neat job of everything he did. Communication is everything and Todd was approachable both before and after the install. They fitted an 8.26kw system which has left me with no energy or EV bills, and I’m even left with a bit of change from selling back to the grid on sunnier days. These guys are the real deal, and I highly recommend them to anybody thinking of having a solar panel system.

Steve, Lance and Todd did a superb job on my solar panel installation. They installed 34 panels and a Sigenergy inverter and battery storage system. I contacted many companies for quotes, but Energy Concerns were the only ones who came to my property to assess the potential roof space so that they could maximise the system. All the other companies used the same online software and provided quotes remotely, despite asking them to pay a visit due to the non-standard layout and construction of the roofs. As a result, I've ended up with a much better system, and the cost per panel was cheaper than all of the other quotes too. The installation went smoothly. Todd is obsessed with the details and making sure the panels are near and perfectly aligned. It was obvious he really cared about his customers and the service they provide. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Great company to deal with, had a small system (6 panels with battery) fitted to the garage and even in the winter months it covers our energy use with the extra sent to Octopus @ 15p a kWh. Cost of system and payback time are now down to just a few years. Thanks Todd and all at Energy Concerns

I’m extremely pleased with the installation of the Aiko solar panels, 8kWh Sigen battery, and 8kW inverter by Energy Concerns Ltd. Todd is highly knowledgeable about batteries, inverters, panels, and the entire installation process. The team began work exactly on schedule and worked through the extremely cold weather in January to complete the job. I’m particularly impressed with how the cabling (installed both externally on the house and internally in the garage) and all the equipment is positioned as discreetly as possible. After the installation, Todd also made sure that all the rubbish and scaffolding were removed promptly. The handover was seamless, with all documents organised into a single, easy-to-follow pack. Now, five weeks into using the system, the average electricity production has matched the original estimate perfectly. Overall, it’s been a fantastic experience working with Energy Concerns, and I highly recommend them to anyone considering solar installation.

Over the years, we've made detailed assessments of the real financial value of installing solar panels. In 2024, the costs are low enough, the export tariff is high enough, and the panels are efficient enough for break-even in six or seven years. In 2021, the break-even was more like 14 years. Todd at Energy Concerns gave us a competitive quote for the job. Other companies gave good prices, but Todd's was the one that got it right first time, that is he proposed the best equipment straight away. Todd answered questions by email and phone both quickly and accurately. He gave sound advice and he didn't oversell. He was straightforward and honest, and we felt we could trust his judgement. Todd also helped us to verify that the network (DNO) would accept the 6kW that we can provide from our roof. Our financial analysis told us that the simplest tariff, without batteries, would give the best level of profit, so we installed solar panels only. That analysis is specific to us, yours may be different, and batteries do have a place. We may install batteries in a few years, depending on costs. Installation was carried out brilliantly over two days. And we were being credited by Octopus within two weeks of installation, which is extremely quick. A month on and everything has worked well from the start, except for the unusual cloudiness of the weather. Even so, we've exported 3.5kWh per day on average in November, and reduced our consumption from the grid too. We'd recommend Energy Concerns without reservation.

We were looking for a local solar installation company (in the Leicester area) led by someone knowledgeable, patient and not pushy. We certainly found that in Todd! In fact we probably pushed his patience to the limit with our endless considerations of different technologies, brands and installation details but his professionalism never faltered. Todd stays abreast of the ever changing world of solar and battery technology and wouldn’t hesitate to change his recommendation if he felt a new product better suited his clients needs. Communication was great with any questions answered swiftly, often with a link to a video for further clarification. The whole process was handled efficiently and the system was installed neatly with good attention to detail. Any small snags or queries at the end of the installation were immediately acted upon, leaving us with a system that will serve us well for many (sunny) years to come. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Energy Concerns.

Energy Concerns installed my solar pv system a couple of weeks ago and I couldn’t fault them. Todd and Aaron were very polite and considerate and worked hard throughout the day. There were a few hiccups during the installation but everything was resolved and left as good as new on completion. The finished installation looks very neat (they had to work around existing water pipes), and it was clear Todd takes great pride in his work. I contacted Energy Concerns as I was specifically looking for the Sigen system and they were relatively local to me. When Todd sent me my proposal, he threw me a bit because he included an option to have panels installed on my back roof (almost north facing); I decided to go for it as it was a relatively small price increase. I am so pleased I did as they have been performing brilliantly and they help extend the amount of time the panels are generating during the day as they get the evening sun. On good days the back panels almost double my output after about midday! The aftercare has also been excellent. Todd is very responsive over WhatsApp and always answers my questions in a timely manner (I’m not sure I’ve ever waited for more than an hour or so for a response) - this has included late evenings too! Anything he is not sure about he has contacted Sigenergy support who also seem to respond very quickly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to invest in a solar pv system!

We've had solar panels and a house battery fitted by Todd and have had a brilliant experience from start to finish. When we were looking for quotes for a battery we had done a fair bit of research ourselves into what we wanted and brands of battery that looked good. Which meant we have had other 'salesmen' come round that couldn't answer our questions and knew less than we did. So Todd was a breath of fresh air when he could answer any questions we had about features of the battery, different types & the installation process. We were initially looking for just a battery but Todd suggested he price up for solar panels too as he thought we be surprised - and we did end up going for both so he was right! There was no pressure in the quoting process & it felt like a really good fit for us. He came back with the quote quickly and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. After quoting, a new brand of battery came out that he thought would suit us better and was bigger for a similar price, so he suggested it & talked us through the differences. During the install Todd kept us informed of when he would be coming and what he would be doing that day. He and the others working on the job were very polite, approachable and tidied up after themselves each day. We couldn't have had a nicer experience. We even decided we wanted more panels half way through & it wasn't a problem for them to make the changes. The final install is very neat and I haven't seen such good bird netting around each of the solar panels. The panels themselves have a very modern look being almost completely black in colour. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Energy Concerns to friends and family - everything was discussed in advance and everything installed was as expected. And now most days we just pay the standing charge for electricity!
