Amica Smart Homes have been amazing through the whole process of designing the system for our new build through to the ongoing servicing. Arron in particular was involved from the outset with finalising our design and was very patient with us changing our minds a few times along the way. The plans and schedules supplied were easy to understand and allowed me to complete the first fix with ongoing advice from Amica. The system completion was smooth before we moved in and we now enjoy a fully automated system controlling gates, doors, curtain, blinds, alarm, audio, underfloor heating, hot water, MVHR etc. Ongoing support and servicing is first class and I cannot praise Amica enough. Delighted with the system.

Had Arron around to do a whole host of work, was knowledgable polite and explained everything to me when I was being nosy. Managed to fix everything in a timely manner and even cleaned up! Top service thanks again! Happy with the fire/flood detection system which after a previous disaster will do wonders to put my mind at ease!

Aaron was extremely helpful and provided us a fantastic service in restoring our pre-exisitng loxone system. He was full of knowledge and explained all the steps he took as he resolved the issue. Would recommend 100% to anyone who is thinking of, or already has, smart home systems in place.

We had a WeBrick system installed in 2010 and the company went bust so we have spent 10 years looking for someone to give us a better, reliable home automation system. Luckily we came across Amica last year. Arron came out to look at our set up and instead of running a mile said they could upgrade us to a better Loxone system. He was as good as his word and after 2 weeks of hard work by Ben and Arron we now have an up to date supported home heating and lighting system , which is a joy. I cannot praise them enough: they arrived on time did more than they had expected to have to do (we had no wiring diagrams) and left us very pleased. I would highly recommend them. 6 months on and it is still working brilliantly and I have been able to get 2 functionality upgrades installed remotely

When we wanted to automate various aspects of our home, we knew immediately that we wanted to commission Amica Smart Homes to undertake the work. Their understanding of our needs as a family, remarkable product knowledge, and professional work standards resulted in a seamless installation. We automated our gates, lighting (garden, pool, and house), and the pool's heating with Loxone. I must add that the design of the Loxone Touch Pure range of switches is beautifully understated and added to our interiors! Highly recommended.

After booking a slot to visit their showroom in Somerton we were blown away by the homely feel of their office, there was no pressure to buy it, just a nice relaxed atmosphere. Arron showed us around each room and how their smart home devices worked with the different audio systems. We mainly went as we wanted to install a new surround system to a dedicated room we were renovating. We happily decided on Amica to install a new home theatre system for us, after agreeing and went with the design and were very happy with the amount of communication there was during this stage at at all times to be honest.They looked after every detail of the room down to the furniture and wall features that suited our style. We opted for the Meridian audio sound system as we wanted the room to be really special since we really love watching movies! We are absolutely over the moon with the entire service from Amica from the design to the full first fix and second fix installation. They coordinated all the different trades with such ease to bring to life the plan and design we settled on. During the handover we found that the system performed even better than we expected with many additional features like the led lighting changing then we select the blu-ray player on the remote! Really adds to our movie nights! We will be looking to use Amica again in the future when we renovate the rest of our house because we cannot thank them enough or speak highly enough. See you soon !

I have now worked with Amica on a number of high-end build projects and will continue to use them because of the quality of their electrical installations. This company has been 100% reliable. They are responsive and get the job done exactly as it is required; many customers remark on their professionalism and punctuality. Couple this with the standard of their work and 'can-do' attitude I would happily recommend them to anyone.

My husband is a massive fan of technology and while we were in the process of purchasing a new build apartment he wanted a professional smart home installation to be incorporated. This, he crowed, would enable us to control the lighting, blinds, heating, music and more besides from a single app on our phones, tablets etc. His nephew had moved into a home which already had a smart installation called LOXONE which he highly recommended to us and so the seed was sown. Needless to say my husband immediately checked where the nearest provider and installer was. He was delighted to find that a Company called AMICA handled Smart Home Installations using LOXONE equipment. He contacted AMICA and we were invited to meet with the founders of the Company Arron Gilder and Ben Toser to discuss our ideas and potential options available. After a number of comprehensive meetings my husband then visited one of their Smart Home Showrooms. This visit cemented his views that the products were of a high quality and AMICA was a Professional Company who would work closely with us and best serve our interests by gently guiding us through the various phases. Having expressed our interest in the system a plan was then comprehensively prepared by Arron and costings provided for various alternatives. It was explained to us that this was a critical point as changes to any first fix cabling can have a knock on effect as to what devices and space is required when it came to the second fix stage. Having received permission from the Developer of our new Apartment Block the installation process began in earnest. AMICA worked with a number of sub contractors on site which although demanding in itself did not detract from their goal of providing us with exactly what we wanted and had agreed to. As my Husband and I are approaching our second year anniversary in our New home I thought that it was a good time to share our experience of living with our Smart Home System for this length of time. Personally speaking I couldn’t initially envisage what benefits a fully integrated Smart Home would provide. However, having used the system for 2 years I cannot imagine life here without it. We have ceiling LED’s throughout which are zoned according to each room and are fully configurable to display different colour combinations. Motion sensors switch on lights whenever and wherever required and are particularly useful at night by engaging low level lighting making it safe for journeys to, and also once inside, the bathroom. The system that AMICA installed also looks after: Climate Controlled Heating throughout. Electric Towel Rails. Balcony Lights. All Lighting including LED, Pendants & Motion Sensors. Electric Blinds in Bedroom and Living Space. Bedside Alarm Clocks. Security, Fire & Water Alarms. Meridian Streamed Sound System with Ceiling Speakers in every room. The AMICA Team’s experience and commitment to the project from beginning to end was exemplary and we would have no hesitation in recommending both the LOXONE Smart Home Systems and the Installation Team at AMICA. Finally it’s equally important to note that AMICA provide us with ongoing support. They are readily available to advise and implement changes. We are kept informed about new and future product developments which are likely to be of specific interest to us. They are always there to answer any questions and hold our hands as we grow with the system.

Ben installed a Meridian streaming device and Roon Core which has revolutionised the playback quality on my Meridian system compared to CDs. It could not have been a smoother process - well done !

Completely recommend, wouldn’t hesitate to use again! Ben & Arron installed the Loxone system in my home 2 years ago, after having just moved in. I found them to be extremely professional and helpful, Ben was able to guide me through the entire process and from start to finish they were both on hand to help whenever needed, I particularly love the hanging Loxone pendant lights! We’ve just built a small garden room and contacted Ben as we wanted this to be part of the Loxone system, it was great to speak to Ben again who assisted with the planning and in no time at all had installed the system for us. Overall I found them to be professional, friendly & very responsive by phone and email. 10/10 wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I commissioned Amica Smart Homes to f a full home Automation system, lighting, heating, alarm and CCTV. I can say they delivered a full intelligent working system that surpassed my expectation. Arron and Ben are very professional and really know what they are doing.

We started renovating our home in mid 2019 and met up with Arron / Amica Smart Homes as we wanted to add technology to our project. Although the renovation took longer than expected due to COVID and building delays, we are incredibly happy with Amica throughout the entire process. We have Loxone controlling our security, lighting and heating. Very impressed by the function and ease of use. When we had questions throughout the entire project, Amica answered everything they could and tried to be as helpful as possible towards us and all other trades on site. Not once did we feel pressured or unknowing of any processes. Highly recommend to anyone and would happily use again in the future.

Avoid at all costs. I've just completed a luxury build of 2x residential properties, complete with Loxone systems. To say Amica are not professional is an understatement, the works are still not complete despite the projects completion in May 2020. The Loxone project to date has cost over £70,000 (Paid to Amica). I am yet to have a proper system handover. I have no heating in one room. I have sensors that don't work, light switches that randomly turn on and off, timers that don't make any sense and a spreadsheet of other issues. These are not the only issues. During installation they would come up one day, do a few bits and then leave again, not to be seen for weeks. Rest assured, they will prioritise new potential customers over completing your job. Ordinarily, i would not be concerned and the unfinished works and would be a matter of snagging, however Amica (Arron and Ben) have been totally unresponsive and are insisting on full and final payment prior to the works being completed. After spending over £70k on the system to date, i feel that i'm entitled to some retention until the job is finished (under 10%). They currently control all access codes to my home including doors, exterior gates and garages. To make matters even worse, they decided (despite constant chasing for a statement and final snags to be complete) to send a debt collection agency to my home. They are REFUSING to send a statement of account and REFUSING to complete the works. It's a very strange way of doing business... To put it in perspective, I had 55 independent contractors and firms work on this large residential project...only one contractor has not finished their work, and that's Amica... The loxone system is great...Amica however are highly unprofessional, awful to deal with, very slow...not a proper business by any stretch of the imagination. Having spent over £70k with them to date, you'd expect them to atleast answer their phone. Unfortunately we were left with no choice but to go down the legal route, which is expensive for all involved.

Recently my partner and I changed address, we had seen some of the work Amica had carried out before and were impressed by it. When we contacted the company we were received a quick response and were soon visited by one of them to install our smart heating system for a reasonable price. It works a dream, we are so happy with it and we will definitely be investing more money in Amica's products in the future.

When we embarked on a major home refurbishment, we started to think about including home automation. After a little research we chose Arron from Amica to install a full home automation solution for us. This was one of the best decisions we made, Arron initial survey was very through and documentation meant our electrician knew exactly what he needed to do. Throughout the project he offered additional helpful suggestions to help us get the most benefit out of the installation. Arron enthusiasm for the product, knowledge and work ethic are second to none and he is always a pleasure to deal with. The Loxone solution now controls our lights, heating, security, access, cinema room and music throughout the house. Post installation I have always found that my questions or requests for slight changes have always been dealt with quickly and helpfully. I would highly recommend Arron and Amica Smart Homes to anyone considering a smart home project, you won’t regret it!

The showroom is a must see experience! Seeing it was incredible and made us understand the system and how it integrate with everything in the home. Thoroughly enjoyed the audio side of it as well, lovely looking speakers and sounds like nothing I've heard before! Can't wait to add this all in our new home.

Arron and his team have created an excellent addition to our new self build home. Following meetings with Arron we decided on the full automation package and so glad we did. Everything in the home is controlled from just one place by the excellent app. Arrons guidance and knowledge was second to none and made the integration with onsite plumbers and electricians seamless. Arrons own electrician was also very knowledgeable and skilful Any minor glitches seemed to be from my lack of knowledge and Amica were never hard to get hold of to solve our problem. I cannot recommend this company highly enough and will not look elsewhere on the next project. Well done guys and thank you.
