Had a lot of work done recently by RLW Electrical and Solar, and I have nothing but praise for them. All the staff I met were friendly, helpful, and their work was top class. Not everything went to plan as with all things (mainly suppliers), but they got around any issues and produced a great outcome and end product. Highly recommend great bunch of guys.

I recently had solar panels and batteries installed by Ricky and his team. They were highly efficient and very professional. The job was completed very quickly. Ricky explained everything clearly and provided all the necessary documentation. I’m already seeing the benefits. I would highly recommend RLW for the installation of solar panels and batteries.

What can I say Ricky and the RLW team are amazing. Ricky is truly a professional. Every step of the process of discussing solar panels and battery backup, he explained in detail and gave reasoned advice, which I understood and went for. Ricky organised everything and kept me informed of how things were going. When the system was up and running Ricky explained how things worked and the app worked. Ricky explained about finding a good supplier for electricity input and output. Ricky even setup my system so that I could benefit from cheaper rates, when I switched. As I said before, Ricky is a truly professional young man who is 100% trustworthy and good for his word. I highly recommend Ricky and the RLW team to anyone who is thinking about solar panels or electrical work. My sigenergy system is amazing and just gutted I didn't do it earlier :)

What an amazing installation I’ve had done by RLW Electrical & Solar from Kidwelly! I used AI to find a local installer, and it turned out to be the best decision I’ve made. His after sales support is really comforting and he is able to monitor my system from wherever he happens to be if I have any questions. Fitted some batteries last July and helped me set up the app to check on them. Had to call out Ricky recently and he fixed the problem straight away, which was do with the grid not his work.

We had RLW out recently to sort a few smaller electrical jobs recently. A light fitting, a underfloor heating unit and our central heating unit replaced. They replied quickly and we're able to squeeze me in for a look and to do the job very quickly also. As the light was in my babies room I really appreciated getting it sorted in the dark evenings. RLW were affordable and both the guys I dealt with were very friendly, I would 100% recommend and use again in the future! Thanks!

I recently purchased a 1912 house in Swansea and wanted to see if PV would be viable as there was minimal south roof area. RLW looked it over and put forward alternative proposals in terms of the kit as well as the layout of the panels. Drone footage allowed them to check the condition of the roof in advance. They were able to get 2 on the south, 9 on the west and 4 on a detached garage (for a summer boost) for ~7kW of generation and ~8kWh of battery. We went with a Fox hybrid inverter and modular battery system. The main board in the house was ancient and also being replaced. It was a true rats nest to unpick so they are as capable on the usual electrics as they are with the solar. They were able to get on-site with minimal delays. Ricky and his team are energetic and up for challenges. For example, they were working with a old slate roof and they treated it with great care and the newly installed panels have just withstood literally hurricane force winds and lashing rain. And when commissioning the hybrid inverter there was a fault in one of the supplied connectors there were able to identify and correct the issue. The initial survey indicated that there could be 3 panels on the South but on roof it turned out it would be risky in terms of wind stresses and they took the safe option. They did some additional research and were able to optimise the PV output so the 15 panels could deliver more than the original 16. Small things like arriving on time, cleaning up as they go, adapting to the quirks in old houses and recording their work and keeping us up to date is what you should expect as well.
