Background. Unable to reset inverter following WiFi change- original installer gone out of business. Batteries totally drained after 6 months out of use. The Job Mark was happy to travel over from Midlands to North West to sort things out. Not a straightforward job. He persevered until he was able to identify the root problem which was a faulty gongle. Second visit then to wake up and recharge batteries including tracking down some incorrect rewiring. Absolutely delighted with the outcome - we now have a fully functional system with Mark explaining every step of what he was doing to put it right.

Great experience from start to finish. Just had a Tesla charger installed did an amazing job. The workmanship is excellent, everything was left spotless and tidy, and the final result looks brilliant. Highly recommend!

Makse Electrical insulation of Solar with battery back up. I would highly recommend Mark and his team at Makse Electrical & Renewables. Our story: We had been looking at solar for many years (seriously for 4 years) and had many different sales people come to discuss options with us and explain what they thought we needed to meet our needs and the amount of time it would take to get a return on investment. These companies would not listen to our requirements and we became disheartened, as we had a good idea of what we wanted we just needed a company to see our vision and follow our requirements. We then had a friend recommendation as their brother had used Makse Electrical and, seeing their system set up, we were impressed by the professional set up they had installed so we made contact with Mark. Mark was very informative from first contact, checking our distribution boards to check they complied, to insulation and aftersales too. He listened to our requirements and was happy to make adjustments to meet the requirements we wanted from the system, for our needs. He reviewed our requirements and gave us options with varying prices to chose from. We then took our time to think about these options whilst he contacted the DNO to get authorisation to supply to the grid. We decided on the set-up we wanted and Mark arranged everything for us. The insulation was excellent from start to finish. His team were efficient and the aesthetic layout of the solar panels, inverter and battery are excellent. He explained the app and gave us tips on how to get the most out of the system and the tariffs. He sorted all the paperwork quickly and efficiently. Mark has also checked-in on our progress so far and answered any further questions we had. It has been 6 weeks on the system and we are achieving 98% self-sufficiency. Since installation the PV Production is 1.57MWh and we have sent 1.05MWh back to the grid, which is higher than we anticipated. Looking at the app we have averaged 29.59kWh per day in June alone which has been a nice bonus as we were classed as high usage family by the electricity company before moving to solar. Mark and his team recently did an upgrade for us. Moved our givenergy system outdoors and added another battery. Very efficient and professional from quotation through to commissioning and certification. He patiently answered all my queries and did a neat and fantastic job. Had my existing install upgraded this week with a replacement larger inverter and additional battery storage. Mark was first class - communication was spot on and even getting the G99 wasn’t an issue and was done in less than 24hours. All paperwork was sorted and issued with no drama or having to chase anything. Would highly recommend and will do so to anyone that asks me!

Following installation by another contractor, which didn't go as smootly as it should have, Mark reached out via a Facebook group he frequents for GivEnergy customers and offered, with no obligation, to talk me through the solution over the phone. Knowing Mark was not local I (somewhat) jokingly offered him work if he wanted it and he said yes. The job was to include installation of a second battery and rectification of the previous contractors mistakes. The quote, considering the latter, was more than reasonable and Mark communicated throughout the job whilst liaisng with the DNO. A date was booked in and Mark turned up when he'd agreed, cracked on with the job and made good the mess the previous contrator had made as well as doubling my storage capacity with the new battery. It was necessary for Mark to return for a second visit to finish commissioning the install but again this went without a hitch, especially given it was around a 200 mile round trip. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark - he is a highly competent contractor who knows his stuff, explains everything in detail and his work is absolutely top notch. Excellent company from start to finish; Mark looked after everything, including digging up parts of the garden to fit the EV charger to a detached garage. Very fast work, can’t even notice the groundworks! Highly recommend!

I had been looking at solar and battery options for a while. I had received a number of quotes from both local and national companies before finding MAKSE ELECTRICAL. Mark came to the address took time to explain my options before producing me a detailed quote that was very competitive. He sorted out the DNO process and kept me informed throughout. The workers were great (even fixed me a couple of broken tiles whilst installing my panels) and the workmanship was second to none. Mark was on site throughout to answer any questions and ensured everything was completed to the highest quality. I have recently hand an installation of Solar Panels and Batteries installed by Mark and his team on to my properties roof. I have been pondering having this done for some time and like most people spent some time trying to figure out what and who I should use and worrying about making the correct choice. From the first time Mark visited his very relaxed but informed manor put me at ease. The whole process from his survey and explanations on what was required from Scaffold erection to installation of the the 14 panels and other equipment was very well managed. At every step of the way Mark answered my questions and went the extra mile to make sure we understood everything. The Inverter and batteries were installed in the Garage and have been expertly position with tidy Cable management and clearly ladled. There was even an improvement made to tidy the Cable routing from the main Service box to the the fuse board. It was very clear that Mark takes great pride in his work and that his customer is also very satisfied. All of this excellent service was provide at very competitive rate. I was unfortunate enough to have Solar panels, Twin GivEnergy Hybrid Inverters, and Batteries installed by an unscrupulous company, who went bust leaving me with a dreadful install which constantly failed to work properly. Luckily I was given Marks details via a Facebook forum, and after an initial chat, he agreed a visit to investigate, and sort out any problems with my system. This he did in an efficient and professional manner. Mark rectified all the wiring, bringing my entire system up to the correct safety standards, and then completely recommissioned the system, leaving me entirely satisfied with his efforts. Since Marks initial visit, he has been back twice, and on each occasion, he fitted an extra battery to each of my inverters. Mark is extremely knowledgeable, and was very helpful in assisting me, with setting up Home Assistant, which has added even greater control to my GivEnergy system. I found Mark to be punctual, polite, and professional in everything he has done at my property, and therefore have no hesitation in recommending Makse Electrical for any Solar related needs.
