We called AKT as there appeared to be a small leak in my mum’s bay window. Adam called by and ascertained there was no structural damage to the roof but some sealant was required. He applied this for us at no cost. Polite, friendly and efficient just as we’ve come to expect from AKT. Thank you 😊.

We employed AKT Roofing to replace an old Velux window on the top floor of our building. Although it took a while for them to find time for us because they are much in demand, when they came, the job was carried out quickly and efficiently. They finished all the work off very neatly, and cleared everything away. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Thank you AKT for removing and capping the chimney, replacing the roof and insulation, doing it all swiftly and safely. Adam ensured that great care was taken erecting and dismantling the scaffolding, to minimise any H&S risks. Carmen was always at the end of the phone or contactable via email whilst the work was in progress, providing me with updates. The new roof looks really good and I’m confident will keep us dry and warm next winter.

Adam was polite and friendly, and turned up on time. He provided a thorough inspection and detailed report on the condition of our flat roof. The team removed hip and ridge tiles , cleaned them for re-use and replaced a few slates. They did this very carefully. They took all the rubbish away and left us clean and tidy. Very respectful and polite. They worked very hard despite the extremely cold weather. We have used AKT Roofing in the past and would do so again, should we need a roofing company.

We chose AKT roofing as they were members of the NFRC Roofing Competent Person scheme so were guaranteed to use quality parts and self certify with Building Regs. Friendly, efficient service. Explained well what they were doing. Hardworking. Replaced our large flat roof within 2 days. Cleared all rubbish away leaving the place clean and tidy. Would recommend.

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, quick and reasonable quote with lots of detail, plenty of communication about the job start and then the job itself was simply magical, I dont know how they've done it but its almost impossible to tell that there were 2 chimneys there before. Our neighbour had their chimneys taken down by another company last year and its really unsightly where the chimneys were and we were expecting the same but our roof is now pristine. They are true craftsmen and obviously care about the work they do. Once the bill arrived it was exactly as quoted with no hidden extras and we wouldnt hesitate to use AKT roofing again or recommend them to anyone who'll listen.

New, replacement, roof installed on detached house during October 2023. Work performed methodically, and well. Any issues (there are always 'issues'!) that came up, or special requests, were accommodated and dealt with in good humour. No problems with roof, or guttering which was also replaced, over the winter. One year later, I asked AKT to check a gutter issue, and they attended with a ladder within half an hour. The cause of the issue turned out to not be part of the work AKT had done.

AKT Roofing fitted felt trays, replaced a piece of damaged felt and replaced a broken tile. I tried 2 other roofers beforehand, but AKT Roofing were the only ones who reliably replied to messages and move things forward. They put in a temporary fix to keep out the rain when they came over to assess the job, then were quick to get it all completed and left everything tidy. Great service and great people!

AKT Roofing did a comprehensive survey on the roof of the property identifying the need to replace the original roof. They worked quickly to identify a slot for the work to go ahead and make the situation as stress free as possible. They worked hard to complete the project and the end result looks great!
