Generally a good install

Generally a good install. I think an improvement would be to have a member of the management team (as opposed to install) on site at points in the process. That helps the customer, but it would also allow the company to see first hand what the issues are on the ground.

All personnel are knowledgeable about the products - in my case, solar panels with storage. I felt confident in accepting their advice. Installation was carried out professionally according to the pre-arranged schedule, and all staff were friendly and helpful throughout the process. After sales care so far has also been very supportive.

Excellent service and advice

I got a recommendation to use EVI to instal a battery and inverter to link up with existing solar panels and they did a great job. The system was well designed for my needs and the installers were friendly and worked to a high standard. Now appreciating the aftercare service that is helping me maximise use of solar/grid energy and minimise our electricity bills.

The installation was very efficient and everything went smoothly, although there were some issues with the commissioning at the end (a software issue not installation) which were dealt with on a susbsequent site visit. The workmanship was good and the installation team very helpful.

Evi Renewables' Director gave an excellent sales pitch against four other bidders. Not the cheapest system, but easily the best. Installation was challenging but the fitters persevered and succeeded. A few issues post-installation but resolved quickly by the team. A great all-round product and service and I'm delighted with the result.

From the moment Neil arrived to do the survey, we felt like they were a company that knew what they were doing. He listened to our questions and our ideas and was able to formulate a plan that was ideal for us. Chris was always just a phone call away leading up to the installation of our solar panels and batteries and Graham keeps monitoring after installation to make sure all is working well. They even replaced 2 of our tiles that were broken before installing the panels. Couldn't have asked for better

5 star PV installation

Excellent honest communication via both email and telephone calls. I was kept informed throughout the whole process from initial call to completion of the installation. All workers on site, from the scaffolders to the installers acted courteously and professionally. I couldn't have asked for a better, smoother experience, genuine 5 star.

Very quick and professional

Job was scheduled for Wednesday-Friday to install solar panels, inverter, battery and EV charger. Scaffolding went up on Tuesday in prep for the job. The panels were installed on Wednesday; the inverter, battery and cabling were done on Thursday with the scaffolding coming down that day as well. The solar equipment was commissioned on Friday morning along with installing the EV charger. All done by midday, everyone was fast and professional without cutting any corners. The after care has also been fantastic in terms of guidance on using the apps, etc. Excellent job all round

Great experience with EVi

Great experience with everyone I dealt with at EVi. The solution was delivered to plan without any fuss or carry on. Shout out to Bob, Paul, Greg and Jack who actually installed the system, they were great, very knowledgeable and done a brilliant job. Likewise Graham and Chris in the office were great any time I spoke to them.

Very easy to do business with.

From the start the process was easy, during the quote everything was explained well, installation was scheduled quickly after the price was agreed and installation time estimate was accurate. Most interaction during installation was with the primary electrician who fully explained everything during and after the installation. Once installation was completed I had the MCS certificate and the prerequisites for me signing up with a feed in tariff were complete.

Excellent service

From initial contact with company all the way to installation, clear, concise and easy to understand information was given. There was no hard sell and I like the idea of using in-house employees rather than sub contracting the work out. The whole team were friendly but very professional and it’s good to know there is excellent after-install service too in case of any questions or queries that may arise later on.

Solar Panel and Storage Installation

We recently had solar panels and battery storage installed by EVi at the house. From the initial contact and any follow up with them the communication has been excellent. The team who worked on the project were happy to answer questions and tell us how everything worked. After sale support has also been excellent, emails are answered quickly and effectively. All in all a neat and tidy project.

I initially chose EVi because they are a GivEnergy Platinum installer. My experience lived up to their ranking. The installation was well specified following an on-site inspection by Neil Beattie. This initial review saved me several hundred pounds as Neil was able to advise me that I did not need the GivEnergy Gateway to meet my requirement for a large battery with a high capacity inverter. A very competitive quote was provided for the installation of the GivEnergy All-in-One(AIO)13.5 kWh battery. I accepted the quote, and EVi's technical team handled all the permissions with DNO. Install went very smoothly - a very competent team of electricians installed and commissioned the system over a day and a half. Very tidy workmanship. Good explanation and handover. Follow up the technical in fist 24 hours to see if there were any issues. Monitoring of the system continues by technical manager. I highly recommend the team from EVi for all aspects of renewables. Also, now that GivEnergy has updated software to integrate up to 3 AIO, I am considering going back for a second battery.

The team were brilliant! GivEnergy 3.7KW inverter and 9.5kw battery installed with 8 solar panels. Initially battery would not fully charge, contacted EVI who liaised with GivEnergy, recalibrated and everything now works perfectly! Very efficient and friendly staff! I can highly recommend EVi. They were the only company who came out to do a proper in-person survey, and came up with a neat solution to work around the velux windows on our main roof. My 15-panel array with 14.7kW of GivEnergy battery storage was installed in March and has been working faultlessly since. Scaffolding went up the week before, and was taken down the following week, no mess; the installation itself was efficient and the guys - always polite and approachable! - made a wonderfully neat and tidy job of everything. Aftersales support has been great when I've had a couple of questions, and the tech team contacted me again recently just to check that I was happy with everything and comfortable with how it all worked. No cowboys here - thorough professional service.

EVi Renewables have recently installed Solar panels and Battery storage at my home. From our initial enquiry we knew we had made the correct decision to choose this company even though we had cheaper quotes. We felt comfortable from start to finish with communication, products and customer service all being ON POINT. After visiting the EVi offices we were able to put friendly faces to the names. The installers who came to our home were courteous friendly, informative and efficient not to mention clean and tidy. Their workmanship is FIRST CLASS. We have already recommended EVi to friends who are equally as happy as us. After only a few weeks we can already see the HUGE financial benefits to having this system installed. EVi installed solar panels and a GivEnergy battery storage system to my home. Straight away from my initial email enquiry to meeting and survey onsite they where brilliant. I received a detailed quote and report and any questions were quickly answered. Due to supply constraints there was a delay in getting the system installed, which was industry related and out of EVi’s control. However once everything was available the installation was a seamless experience from start to finish. Scaffolding was erected a few days prior to work starting and both the outside and indoor teams worked well together. My installation was finished within two days, the system was commissioned and Greg and Harris gave me a walkthrough of the system prior to leaving. The scaffolding was removed later that day and everything was left clean and tidy both inside and out. Quality work, carried out by a quality company…..You can’t ask for more than that!

The company personnel were very responsive, from initial sales enquiry to completion of installation. At quotation stage, comms were a little slow due to volume of work but that compares well with several potential suppliers who didn't even bother to respond to my quotation requests! Michael kept me updated when issues with deliveries on solar panel and inverter manufacturers arose and gave me options on technically equivalent replacements, with no pressure to go with his suggestions. This kept the job on track. Installation guys were very knowledgeable, helpful and executed my specific requirements for cable routing. They did not take shortcuts and left a very tidy and professional job.Evi's installation costs are on a par with other providers. Overall, I have no hesitation in recommending Evi to prospective customers.

Despite industry issues with supply and demand, EVi provided a brilliant service throughout. On contacting them initially, they quickly responded and had a full, understandable quotation with me within days. Although the kit took a number of months to arrive, email queries were answered quickly, and updates given as to where things were with the wholesaler. As soon as my kit was in, the turnaround was rapid. Scaffolding went up on time, and the installation team managed to get to us a day early to start installing the panels. Both the panel installers, and the electricians worked seamlessly together, were efficient, tidy and polite... a bonus as we work from home, and had no disruption. Even though running the cable was tricky in my home, the guys reassured that they would work it out, which they did. Getting it all up and running went incredibly smooth, and I’m delighted with the products and overall service. Will definitely be contacting EVi when I look to add further products.

Used EVi Group to get a Zappi charger installed at my home. From start to finish the team were excellent. Great communication throughout, really friendly and knew their stuff! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get an EV charger installed

The whole experience of getting a charger installed with EVi was a pleasure. The initial consult was great and Andy was very knowledgeable. Communications of when everything was happening was very good and once the paperwork was sorted the install was planned in and executed very quickly. The team who fitted the charge point were great and I would recommend them to anyone looking to get a charge point installed.

Excellent company to work with. I was impressed by their communication and professionalism prior to the installation and the charger installation itself was great too - even down to the attention to detail as to where aesthetically the charge point would look best (bottom of charger in line with bottom of window) rather than just wanting to get the job done without caring about the little things. Would definitely recommend.

I would highly recommend EVi Charge Points to anybody who is requiring an EV charger installed in their property. They are prompt to respond, Neil who came to do the home survey was very knowledgeable about his work and spent time talking through the different chargers I could get installed, their pros and cons as well as what the installation would entail. Gary who came and installed the chargepoint was also well experienced, he kept to social distancing and Covid-19 guidelines at all times. The chargepoint has been installed very tidily and it looks fantastic on the driveway. Michael and Hazel have been very courteous and accommodating, advising on the 2 grants that I would be eligible for and how to apply and especially with helping me to settle the invoice at the end. I am very happy with the service that I have received from EVi.

Really happy with the service provided by EVi. They came up much cheaper for the same charging unit than some other installers, however the quality of the install was still excellent. The initial site survey was a little harder than normal due to covid, however that was not a problem. They were able to talk to me about the different chargers available and the pros and cons of each and also what would be required for the installation. The installers were friendly and professional, left no mess and gave me a good walkthrough to show how the charger worked

The garage where I bought my vehicle recommended a C/P installer, but because EST advised to get at least 3 quotes from different C/P/Is, I randomly picked EVi CP Ltd from the approved installers' list. While the former wouldn't send out someone to my home but preferred information over the the phone, Neil of EVi told me they MUST carry out a home survey and, the engineer who came made some recommendations; availed me with information and contacts which helped to speed up a hassle free installation. Without which my new EV will be parked at home for weeks if not months before the installation was carried out. For example, without EVi I wouldn't know I need landlord permission, which took 6 weeks before Sanctuary Housing would approve it. Scottish Power home load assessment, etc. All thanks to EVi CP Ltd. Not only did EVi offered a competitive price difficult for others to match, their after service follow up was only bettered by their customer service! To show my satisfaction and approval of their professionalism, I shared a cuppa 🍵 with the lads who carried out my work.👍 🖐️ on ♥️ I will recommend EVi Charge Point Ltd 💯 percent to my friends/neighbours. EVi gave us great advice about the best charge point for us to get, given that we had solar panels. In addition, there was some extra work that we needed to get done to upgrade the wiring in the house. This was all handled by seamlessly by EVi, unlike the 1st charge point company recommended to us, who refused to take this on. All the work was carried out promptly and professionally. I can thoroughly recommend anyone with a new EV to get EVi to fit their charge point.
