I wouldn’t recommend. To any one ,,I feel I was tricked. Even though I got new boiler I didn’t really need. I paid far more than I should have done my mistake. Boiler fitted following next day ,,,be aware

Dont listen to sales man he lies!!!!

I had my boiler fitted 2 years ago and all been fine up until recently. It was only when my thermostat stopped working and telling the boiler what to do i realised what an error i had made. I had been informed by the sales man that warranty was 10 years, that it was interest free loan and service was included. I also had issue with leaking radiator which i was told would be fixed too. When they ring you to confirm details of installation and warranty etc listen carefully and walk away. It was a hard sell and i wish i had cancelled then. Overpriced and hard sell techniques used. Yes i should of walked away then and kick myself for not doing. PLEASE BE WARNED AND DONT TAKE THE SALES MAN AS SPEAKING THE TRUTH AS HE REALLY DOESNT!!!

15203 order number - Sales person friendly and informative. Gas engineer arrived on time and very fast and efficient on job. No complaints. Boiler fitted well and all mess cleaned away afterwards. Quick and easy transition to new boiler. Service and price all great. 😊

avoid at all costs!

In July 2022 I recieved a leaflet through the post where this company offered a boiler on a government backed scheme, when they came to discuss it, right at the end told me I’m not eligible for the government scheme and gave me a quote, as I needed the boiler (old one was condemned) I reluctantly agreed to pay, I wasn’t made aware that the agreement was an interest first agreement! Then when the engineer installed it I started having issues, we had very heavy rainfall and water was coming in through the flue and in flooding the boiler and kitchen, the same engineer came back out and “fixed” the issue only for it to happen again, we requested a different engineer to come and have a look, when they looked into it we found that the original guy had filled the gap with loose pieces of brick then a thin layer of cement, and the cement hadn’t dried before the rainfall, the new guy did a much better job of it, the inside of the kitchen wall was left in a bad state but at that point we just wanted nothing more to do with the company! I asked for compensation at the time and was refused as they felt the service provided was sufficient! Now 2 years later I discovered the amount I owe is WAY more than what the retail value of the boiler and labour and to avoid nearly £1500 in interest I would need to pay £4100 to clear the finance! AVOID at all costs, rip off merchants!

Avoid like the plague.

Avoid like the plague. Very arrogant and rude. The customer service aftercare team are not interested and clueless. No customer skills or manners and to accuse us of lying about what the engineer said was bad and then said we hadnt paid when we had even tho the invoice number was on the payment but because it came from a diffrent account she was totally lost. She gave us the invoice number....dim or what. Ps. In response to your reply payment methods WERE NOT discussed pryor to the service. It was the engineer that said it was £90 and HE DID say there was not rush to pay ( i have no reason to make this up) and then you hassled us for payment when i was working away..so again dont contact us as you will defo not be doing the service anymore

Had to change my review as the company offers to pay people for their 5 star reviews and then does not follow through with the payment. I had a boiler replaced, they drilled a hole through the external wall for one of the pipes (inside to outside direction) and this has caused a portion of render to come off. Also, caused a small leak of water when replacing boiler and this has caused a water stain on the ceiling downstairs.

Excellent and amazing service I received from Gas Fast. First time using their service as it was recommended by a friend who described their service as first class. The Engineer called a hour before arriving and was on time as scheduled, Carried out a thorough service on the boiler with smile on his face. He explained everything he has done and well documented. I asked the engineer about a issue with leakage in bathroom and he gladly check it and advised a solution which has resolved the issue for me. Thank you Gas Fast. I will definitely love to use your service again and strongly recommend to friends and family.

Boiler installation

Have purchased a boiler off gas fast and they had to move the boiler. They have changed the flow of the water so left with no heating going upstairs and was never going to. I have to now pay £2700 on top of the 6k for extra pipe work to get the whole system working Shocking company not helpful their warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. Never ever wanted to help I am not the tenant i am the owner and had to work away but I was told by an independent engineer that the boiler would never have worked from day one so just fix it!!!! My house is freezing!!!!

Order number -14099 We had a new boiler fitted last year, we were kept up to date on any changes to fitting day, and we're talk through the process of fitting a boiler. It all happened very quickly and we're extremely happy with the results. We were spoken to about various different payment options and were given enough time to make a decision on what we wanted to do. On the day the person installing the boiler talked us through what he would he doing. He did leave quite abit of mess and scratched the side of the bath.

I've had such a positive dealing with this firm. James the assessor was brilliant didn't give me any flack he explained things very well. This was on a Saturday, by Monday the boiler was fitted. The plumbers were fantastic, professional and efficient and worked very hard. I would definitely recommend gasfast. Oh the two plumbers cleaned up after aswell. We'll done lads good job n tyvm glenda

This company have just fleeced my parents for £5200 or £7200 should they keep the finance agreement in place (we wont). The boiler fitted should have cost around £2500 (prices verified by other traders). Hard sell, glib salesperson has taken advantage of two pensioners. I'm trying hard not to be furious with them for being taken in. System wasn't drained and flushed correctly, whole refit took 2.5 hours which sounds great BUT multiple boiler fitters spoken to say thus means the system wasn't checked correctly after fitting. Disgusted that companies like this prey on the elderly and vulnerable. Karma will catch you eventually you thieves.

Not a good company at all. Dont use. Like all the other comments I have paid too much, way too much and I was sold a lie. My boiler is broken, it has broken 3 times now within 9months. Ive asked for replacement and have been told no. I asked Gas Fast to fix, Gas Fast have confrimed there is literally nothing they can do, I feel so stupid for using Gas Fast. Nobody from Gas Fast is allowed to touch the bolier and we await the manufacturer appointment. Tonight and tomorrow my family and I are left without heating or hot water. Its 3 degrees outside today. There is no emergency procedure even when being told by the salesman to cancel my emergency cover, he even added this to his pitch relating to our potential future savings. There have been no savings, quite the opposite. Nobody cares about young children or that we paid for a top boiler. Once youve paid they wash their hands. I would not recommend this company to anyone. There is very little need for this company which i wish i knew. You can literally get the boiler for less than half the price yourself and pick your own trusted installer. Thats really all the company does. Sells, fits then washes its hands. We intend to persue through alternative channels to reach an acceptable resolution.

If I could leave 0* I would. New boiler fitted in January, since it’s been fitted we have no heating and intermittent hot water, I have called and called with the promise of a call back for weeks. When I eventually lost my temper and told them to take it out as the stress it has caused wasn’t worth it, they sent someone out within the next few days. Boiler is still not fixed and now trips the electric every time it kicks in. They have admitted to fitting a faulty boiler and for some reason want to keep “fixing” it rather than replacing. It’s now snowing outside I have two young children and I’m without water and heating for the third month. Horrific customer services. Still not resolved. Avoid at all costs. *I would like to point out that me being unavailable on the 9th for gasfast to attempt to “fix” the issue again was because i was on holiday not just because i was not in, not that I should have to defend myself when this issue should have been resolved in January when originally installed. The flush was requested by ourselves as when we were originally given the quote, we were told this was going to be done.. it was not hence us requesting it numerous times. The stress and upset this has cause is beyond words. Gasfast take some responsibility.

Got a call from 'independent energy advise' firm Energy Support Hub Limited, who then swiftly put me through to their 'preferred company', Gas Fast Ltd - which looks to be a husband and wife team with multiple business name changes over recent years (Gas Fast, Boyler Ltd- yes Boyler, EasyDokk Ltd). They are unable to give any quotes over the phone, no estimations, but are positive the cost of the boiler will be covered in your energy savings. They do, however, want to know what you do for a living. Not sure what my job has to do with my boiler, can only assume they’re making sure I have a job to cover their upcoming costs. When I asked a few simple questions regarding costs the lady on the phone quickly became impatient, the questions must have been missed off her script. Kept trying to jump to the part where they book a representative to come round and value the work. Told them I would phone them back if I was interested. They phoned my wife again an hour later. This is pushy, aggressive, cold calling phone sales. This is not an offer. It is not government subsidised. There is no discount. You're being sold a new boiler. Also noticed the director from Energy Support Hub Limited giving five star reviews to Gas Fast online. All is not kosher.

Appalling company! Salesmen tell you lies to sell you the boilers! Workmen cause all sorts of damage to the fabric of your walls without any care! These idiots left without even checking our nest thermostat was working meaning from day 1 we couldn’t get heating or hot water, the attitude of the aftersales team is appalling! They just don’t care! Do not use! Or use at your own risk! I wish I had left my system boiler in as it’s been far more reliable than this heap of junk they’ve charged me £5000 to fit! Avoid at all cost! I would never recommend these cowboys!

Awful service. They're happy to take your money but as soon as a problem arises, they pass the buck onto another company and ignore your calls and emails. We had our boiler installed in July and we're told our Hive thermostat would be connected, we're no nearly in December and still it's not connected. The boiler installer was good and the system works well, but he was not employed directly by Gas Fast, even though we were told it was their engineers that would be doing it. If you're looking at getting a new boiler, look elsewhere. Don't fall for the sales pitch as the after service care is the worst I've ever come across.

I'm embarrassed to say we fell for the sales pitch from the lovely salesman and have had a combi boiler fitted. The boiler worked fine but having researched we definitely paid over the odds for it. We had it serviced locally and were told it has been installed incorrectly. Fast forward, it develops a fault - a high pitch whistle which really is loud! We call Gas Fast who just tell us to call Ideal. Is this really the kind of customer service we've paid for? The 10 year warranty was part of the sales pitch but I'm really not sure it's worth it if I have to spend hours ringing round different companies being put on hold. I'd say approach with caution and don't fall for the - you have to sign now rubbish from the salesperson.

New Ideal Combi boiler installed April 22. Heating was barely used since installation but this week we have had it on quite a bit and found all downstairs radiators only hot at their tops and sides. The middle of the radiators were only slightly warm and cold at the bottom. I check for air in the rads and no air was in them but the water was black. I had a local plummer come and look at this and he removed 1 radiator and flushed it out, the water coming out was black and a little sludge like consistency. His assessment was that the system had not been flushed by any means before the new boiler had been installed as the water would not be that bad in the rads in just 6 months. So I rang Gas fast for help and suggested that no adequate flush had been done on installation. I was brushed off with aplomb by someone who was obviously well versed in dismissing any request for one of their engineers to come out to look into my claim. So as you might have guessed by now I'm more than unhappy, I wouldn't recommend this company, they do not have a customer care the world...but they'll take your money as fast as they can fit a boiler.

If you are thinking of using them, I wouldn’t. You will get a visit by a nice friendly chap, who will talk you into paying well over the odds for a boiler, which you could actually get for half the price! So they made an appointment very quickly, two men came to fit it and it was completed in a few hours, great, I thought So, in less than a week, the boiler got an error on it, which , when I looked in the Manuel, it said call an engineer, which I did and with a few arguement, ideal came out to fix the problem. It was a faulty fan, which apparently ideal were aware of And now for the big one The pipe from the boiler goes into my soil pipe, they have not put a collar on and there is no seal, so, every time the upstairs toilet is flushed, it is coming out of the pipe and in to my back yard. Now, I have given them numerous calls and numerous chances to put this right. Bearing in mind I had this fitted in February! They even told me someone was coming one afternoon, I waited in and no one came I am now having to get my own plumber as I can not let this go on And I have no choice but to go down the legal route with them

Very fast action in taking the £5000 and to fit the new combi boiler but was promised upto 6 different things in our home would at least be done or considered. None of which were atall. The job was done as fast possible. We are now left with leaks in taps, insecure water pipes and and emails are not responded to. Will not recommend this company.

Excellent service. New boiler installation started & completed within dates/time given. Only niggle being the payment system. I paid in full within the 7 days & emailed to inform this but still waiting for confirmation of receipt then 6 days later received a reminder payment was overdue.

Mixed experience, came out quickly to quote and fitted in the work quickly at a fair price. They also fixed some of the work I wasn’t happy with. However, they have never sent me the necessary paperwork, they called to take payment even though it wasn’t yet due, they came to fix an associated problem - it wasn’t associated so they charged me without forewarning me of the cost.

Really professional company offering a flawless service. Recently moved house and 3 days later was left without central heating due to a broken boiler. Called Gas Fast and they got an engineer out to me the very same day who gave me free honest and friendly advice. Decided the best option would be to go with a new boiler as the one already in was over 14 years old. They sorted me out a very very competitive deal that nobody could match. The installers came the very next day. They showed up on time, were really friendly and did an absolutely fantastic job. They even used dust sheets throughout the house and tidied up every single bit of mess. Can't fault them at all. Over the moon with my new boiler and internet thermostat, also piece of mind with a 10 year warranty. Would recommend to anyone.
