I had a fantastic experience with Wallop Energy! From the initial consultation to the seamless installation of my solar panels, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. The solar panels are performing exceptionally well, and I’ve noticed a significant reduction in my energy bills. Their customer support has been outstanding, always available to answer questions and provide guidance. Highly recommend Wallop Energy for anyone looking to switch to renewable energy!

Lack of response

I will expand more in the coming days, this note is only to confirm the last review made by another person just below mine. After sales, this is installation and commissioning is extremely poor. At the moment I have asked for 4 times for Proof of ownership requested to complete the SEG application. This is e a copy of your paid in full invoice but no response, they do not care. I will expand in a further review about all the problems I have had due to a lack of professionalism and knowledge of this company

After sales support does not exist

Not commisioning properly following G98/99 process resulting in export MPAN rejected by DNO. Contacted them and heard nothing. Uanble to apply for SEG and export back to grid. After sales is a joke right after they took your money. How can this not be regulated if process if not followed? What is the point of all this accreditation? Will write formal complaint to MCS

Terrible communication and responses from Wallop…

Communication and responses from Wallop Energy are slow and incredibly frustrating. It takes several emails and phone calls to get them to act. The solar system was originally incorrectly installed. It then took several emails and calls repeatedly to them to have it correctly fitted after which more time had passed. The system isn’t sending an export reading (and never did!) and again we are having to chase them repeatedly to get this fixed (1 month later still not yet done). Their after care service is overall very poor and lacking. ** Response to below - I confirm I am most definitely a customer.

From start to finish I have been very impressed with this company, their proposal was professional, easy to deal with no hard selling that we needed your partner there to close the deal. The installation team worked so hard and into the early evening to get it done, in the pitch black. We had a tile come away and they were on it straight away. I had some many companies try and sell me Solar Panels and a battery, but going with Wallop was a no brainer and they panels are working better than I expected. They were the most competitive aswell.

Installed December 21st working well saving lots of money. Nav has been brilliant from start to finish always answers queries. Installation team spot on worked hard all completed in 1 day. Professional start to finish.

I recently had a solar installation done at my home and I couldn't be happier with the results! The team at wallop energy was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient throughout the entire process. The installation was done quickly and with minimal disruption to my daily routine. I am now saving a significant amount on my monthly energy bills and feel good knowing that I am reducing my carbon footprint. I highly recommend wallop energy for anyone considering going solar.

Wallop energy were very reasonable in terms of prices for my solar pv installation with ev charger and iboost. The lead time to install was a while however when they came to install it was all organised perfectly. Scaffolding was put up in the morning and then installation was completed on the same day for everything. Could not fault the installers, they were great!

Avoid - They disappeared after took my deposit. Nobody contacts me about the installation. - I emailed them to ask, and no reply. - I called multiple times. They asked for my number, and insists they can do nothing other than tell me someone will call me back. And nobody from wallop energy calls me back. - Then I emailed them to cancel the service. Hmm, suddenly someone calls me from wallop energy about the cancellation. I confirmed with them I want to cancel and asked them to refund my deposit.

Had panels and battery fitted 2 months ago. Wanted to see how they perform and so far even though its winter im very happy already. Jim the fitter was brilliant and very helpful. The time it took from order to installation was longer than i would have wanted, maybe its me being impatient. I Do think communication could have been better, if it was i think i wouldnt have to keep calling for updates. Spoke to a lot of different people through the whole process, maybe if there was one person assigned to each customer that we could call direct it would have been better. These are just small things that would have made my experience a bit better. Was i happy Yes. would i recommend them Yes. They would be my go to company if i needed panels again. Thank you Wallop I know ive been a pain as a customer but i am very satisfied with end result.

Terrific Company

I dont know why there have been so many recent bad reviews, I can only assume its a malicious campaign. Its been a great experience dealing with Wallop Energy. The quote was very quick and accurate, all my questions and concerns were answered without delay and satisfactorily. The install went ahead on the planned day without any issues. The engineers were fantastic and kept me in the loop as to what they were doing and how long it would take. I cannot recommend this company enough and have already told my friends and family to get quotes.

AVOID Wallop energy -company doesn't honour what promises -took my deposit and after that disappeared -tried to contact them via phone call, but it lands on call centre where they take your name and nobody contact you back. -tried emailing and no reply at all, not even acknowledged the email -AVOID AT ALL COST

inverter blew up!

Terrible service. I have had to phone and email repeatedly to get a battery. This is just to buy one, the sale should be the easy bit, I’m extremely concerned about the support if anything goes wrong if this is how the sales perform. So, an update, battery installed and the ac inverter blew up. Told replacement would be a couple weeks. Avoid this company at all costs

All good bar the scafolding

The pre sales and installation from Wallop are first rate. We quickly got a proposal at a good price and the installation was arranged within a few weeks. Much to my delight as I had been messed around by a previous company for over a year. The installation team are very friendly and did a great job. I had recently reroofed my property and the roofer checked the job after saying it was of good quality. Unfortunately the scaffolding has been left up for over 4 weeks now. I have phone a few times each week and sometimes multiple times in a day, people are polite and sympathetic saying they will get back, but no one phones. Eventually I phoned and was told the scaffolding was coming down on the 23rd August, no one turned up. I had arranged to work from home that day. I've phone again today to inform and been told someone will get back. I'll write an update if/when it comes down. It’s a shame as up to this point I would have recommended without hesitation. Update 31/08/2022 We are working on this to get it removed. Seems I'm at the mercy of sub contractor, but these things do happen with any building project. Naz is helping sort it out.

Nice company great service provided. Happy with how the staff dealt with me and how the builders installed my solar. Very clean job! My neighbours are looking to get them installed now too.. Will share their details. Thanks to Nav and the team once again

Stay away from this company, very unprofessional. They carried out an installation at my parents neighbours property but used my parents house roof as a workbench damaging our roof surface. (We have all pictures and videos showing their very unprofessional team on OUR roof and damage caused. We made a complaint and were told they will resolve the issue. Instead they sent out a supposed roofer named GDE painting and decorating services, who are not registered on companies house, have no roofing experience and further to this is closed on google. I have had two separate companies who visited my property and have confirmed the damage would have been caused by the traffic on our roof caused by this company. We have been ignored by this company and are currently going through our legal team. I have attached 3 pictures to this page showing their operative with no PPE on OUR roof An update after the below dishonest response: Sandy and Nav, you know exactly who i am i have all correspondence on file. My legal team will be in touch. A foul unprofessional company

Made an online enquiry for solar…

Made an online enquiry for solar panels, was sent a quotation which are a month i decided to go-ahead with, a few questions and tweaks to the order were made, all no pressure at any point and emails were answered quickly , 4 weeks later 15 panels and 6.5kwh battery install, very impressed with communication throughout, installers Jim and Kieron arrived system installed same day all was left up and running, we was only quoted for 13 panels but the installers managed to get 15 installed only a deposit was paid originally till after i was happy a few days later. I was impressed by the performance and a week later had an additional 6.5kw battery. Aug so far we have only see 1/4 of our normal bills and most days totally off grid power. Very happy and look forward to seeing a saving over the next few year, Thanks Nav for keeping communication updates. Highly recommended, Pricing was very competitive with better than most.

Good experience from start to finish, we have a large flat roof and i am very pleased to use this company. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant and helpful! Very happy with my EV charge and Solar panels!!!

Don't normally respond to pop ups on Facebook however I am glad that I did our system is already saving us money can't wait to see it working flat out I would definitely recommend this company very professional

I was intially impressed with my contact with this company. They appeared to very knowledgable about their product and willingly and patiently answered the many questions I had. I have also been pleased with the performance of the panels and have saved a substantial amount on my energy bill, even over winter. However, post installation, I felt extremely disappointed by the standard of customer aftercare shown, especially in ensuring the correct admin was sent. An issue with the instalation has also recently come to light. So overall, I have found my experience in dealing with this company company to be very disappointing and frustrating. This is why, regrettably, I am only awarding this company 1 star.

Wallop Energy pooped up on face book and I clicked the request form. the next day I received a call from Sandy at wallop. and it went from there. within approximately 4 weeks we have had solar panels fitted and are saving money. the day of fitting was carried out buy a subcontracting company and the lads where very professional and passionate about the job . Panel's where installed we where shown how the equipment worked and also an app was down loaded. Great service

I have a ground based solar panel system installed in four days by Wallop Energy Between the 25th and 28th. Bradley, the company’s surveyor,called on 15th December 2021 to reference the site and Provide me with an estimate.I accepted the estimate and work started on January 25th And by the 28th it was finished and up and running. I am very pleased with the installation and the installers and I feel that I can recommend Wallop Energy to anybody who needs this type of installation.

Very pleased with our solar panels we had installed with wallop energy, Bradley was very helpful explaining the full process of installing them including designs of the solar panels. Very happy overall, installers were very polite and kept everything tidy, highly recommend!

Wallop energy have been a pleasure to deal with. I contacted numerous solar panel installers and all bar wallop were extremely pushy and some are still pestering me even though they know I’ve already chosen a different company. Nathan and Sadie listened to my needs and requirements and have installed a perfect system. From the first call to fitment and now the after sales service they have continued to astound me with there fun professionalism. The scaffolders and fitters were polite and took away all there rubbish. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Today was my first day and bar the batteries charging between 12.30 and 4.30am at a cheap rate this is the only cost on my electric bill. I don’t usually click Ads on Facebook but I did for Wallop Energy. I filled out the enquiry form and received a very competitive price. After completing the paperwork and paying the deposit an installation date was arranged. Installation was seamless and fitment went with no issues.All delivered as agreed and the system is working fine.

From my initial enquiry through to installation, Wallop Energy were a breath of fresh air to deal with. No pressure to buy, and even encouragement to seek alternative quotes, meant that I felt in control of the process and able to call a halt at any time. I was provided with information about the various possibilities for my system and what was right for me. I opted for a simple solar panels scheme without battery back-up, and it couldn't have been simpler to arrange. Having paid a deposit, refundable at any point up to installation, it was good to have a price quoted that included everything with no hidden extras. My telephone contacts all took place on time, and everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. With a final site visit a date for installation was arranged, and it even took place earlier due to an unexpected cancellation making space in the fitter's diary. The panels were on my roof and up and running in just over 6 hours with the minimum of dust and debris. Although a little tricky to set up, the mobile app to monitor the system gives a read-out of energy generated and provides a record co2 saved. Happy to recommend this company as one to consider if you're in the market to join the solar family.

Very professional, quick and efficient service completed all within just 2 days including drawings, reports, video images and installation. They responded very quickly to our questions with confidence. James was very helpful and attentive we appreciate all their hard work!
