From the initial quote request to the final handover, the team at RI Cruden were professional and a pleasure to work with. The installation of the Samsung Gen 7 ASHP and Joule cylinder to replace our oil boiler was a major project. To ensure maximum efficiency at low flow temperatures, the microbore tubing and radiators were also replaced. The system has now been running for six weeks without any issues. Our 1950s bungalow is now consistently warm, and comfort levels have improved significantly. It’s early days, but so far, running costs are slightly lower than oil—and we no longer worry about running out of fuel or dealing with a leaking tank. We’re very happy to recommend both RI Cruden and the switch from an oil-fired boiler to a heat pump for older properties.

I cannot praise RI Cruden highly enough! From the installation of my heat pump system to it's maintenance, from office staff to front line engineers, the responsiveness and customer service is first class!

Crudens are a well established firm that responded to my request for a quote, whereas other companies didn't. They installed solar panels and a couple of Solar Edge batteries. I was impressed with their attitude - they don't just install and walk away, they are a small enough organisation to give personal customer care.

I've now used RI Cruden for two different jobs. Each time I used them I was very pleased with the level of service I received. They took a great deal of care to ensure that the job was completed and everything was tested correctly, and where they had been working was tidied up. I would have no hesitation in using them again.

We were very impressed with the efficiency, workmanship and helpfulness of the team. Fitting the air source heat pump wasn’t straightforward, unsurprisingly given the retrofit of technology into a typical ‘70s build, and there were a few snags along the way. I think the full team did a great job.

I contacted RI Cruden among others when getting quotes to install my Solar PV Panels & Battery. RI Cruden responded (some others didn't even bother!) with information, personal call to discuss what was suitable. Installation was carried out by the team, who kept me informed of the progress, any possible issues were resolved & the system explained on completion. Ri Cruden installed heat pump ,ventilation, heat recovery plumbing and electrical . I was dreading this part of the build as we had problems with our last build but we were so wrong from the start to the finish ri crudens were excellent to deal with they helped with design and were always on hand for advise and never pushed us to buy more expensive options we just got what was right for our build . The boys on site were brilliant no issues at all and I would recommend using them to anyone without hesitation . Lee Major

Many thanks to all the Cruden team for a very quick solution to a potentially tricky home heating problem. They replaced a faulty Air Source Heat Pump and leaking hot water cylinder with brand new equipment very quickly and within the promised schedule. When a small fault developed in the new system it was fixed immediately with the minimum of fuss and the same professionalism. Happy to recommend.
