Highly recommend Oscar and Ed if you are thinking of installing solar panels and batteries. Great communication from start to finish. The work was carried out on time and finished to a very high standard. The attention to detail was outstanding.

These guys are highly experienced, knowledgeable and truthful. I got several quotes for a quite complex installation and my green electricity spent an hour to access an awkward maintenance hatch, checking current electrical wiring and potential rodding routes and clearly explaining all the various options compared to the cursory inspection and half story I got from other companies. Their quote was also in line with other companies. I haven't yet progressed with the work as the old diesel is still just hanging on in there but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend my green electricity.

I had just about given up on having solar fitted

I had just about given up on having Solar fitted to my house, other companies only wanted standard installs to make things easy. I contacted My Green Electricity as a last resort, and from the first visit they instilled me with confidence. They developed a bespoke plan and were happy to implement my tweaks. Throughout the process Oscar has been informative and helpful. It took longer than expected with the DNO getting my house delooped, but we finally got there, and the system is now fully operational and exceeding my expectations. Full credit to Ed and Oscar, and I can’t recommend them enough.

I used my green electricity to fit solar panels on my house and I can say I was very impressed with the way they handled everything and talked me through the process and which products were best for me. Ed and Oscar were great and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this the company to anyone looking to have solar panels fitted to their home.

EV Charger Installation

Installation of my EV charger including ground works all done with attention to detail and friendly customer service.

Ed and Oscar fitted an EV charger for me and did a great job. Really responsive and helpful which is rare these days. Managed to fit me in earlier too which was the day my car arrived very luckily! Chose a charger that looked decent and gave good advice in setting up and using it. Fitted very neatly to a high standard too. 10/10

Installation of my EV charger was perfect. They were very responsive and helpful in selecting the charger that’s best for me, clear on what they needed picture wise for the quote, and installed it cleanly and properly. They also managed to fit me in the day my car was delivered. Will be using the guys again for a PV system in the future. 10/10

We had My Green Electricity back to install solar Battery, Ed and Oscar were great, and Installation was very quick, The lads have been very helpful with after sales care, checking in on our system and answering any queries. Definitely would recommend if you’re looking at Solar/Battery installation.

They then reviewed the system itself, to find the error and correct it. I have now gone from producing approximately 300w of electricity to over 8 kW, in approximately the same day light. An Excellent service, very pleasant individuals to work with. Should I require their assistance again, I will not hesitate to contact them. Thank you!

Two Excellent guys, we had a bit of trouble with our solar battery charging (which by the way was not installed by this company)and with one phone call these guys came out and fixed the problem on the same day ,can’t praise them enough, If you want solar power installing in your home give these guys a bell they can’t do enough to help

Solar panel clean

I had been considering solar energy from a financial perspective for the past seven years, but the figures didn't add up. Recent developments in solar panels and battery storage have changed that along with the instability caused by the Russians in Ukraine. I did further research and found My Green Electricity. They are a small company, knowledgeable, professional and friendly and they showed that the project was now viable. We have a first rate product that was delivered on time, on budget and with minimum disruption, Within a month our electricity bill has been virtually eliminated. Of course we are dependant on the weather, but the panels still produce electricity on the dullest of days and with battery storage it levels things up. We are highly satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Found this company online, local and knowledgeable team. I had just purchased a new electric vehicle and was informed from the manufacturer that the waiting list for the install was over 6 weeks. After speaking with My Green Electricity they sourced the correct charger that was compatible with my car and had it installed and ready for use in just a matter of a few short days. Gave me clear instructions on usage and even helped me set up the app on my phone for reduced tariff charging. Overall a great experience, no stress, efficient and they did what they said they would. Having solar panels and batteries fitted can be very stressful as you get to grips with the most suitable equipment. This company took all the mystery away and made everything straightforward. They are very friendly and professional and deliver excellent aftercare. The products they used are top quality and value for money. We have solar panels, batteries and a car charger. In the first month (March) our electricity bill has been virtually eliminated. We are very pleased with the job and the service provided.

I found these guys on Google. I used there estimator tool to get an estimate to see if getting solar was the right decision to make. It took me less than one minute and from this information I received a report which explained everything. After this they explained the process very well and then they booked in the job. On the day off installation they made sure that everything was completed to a high standard and they was very patient in explaining how everything worked. Great company would recommend
