I used HelpinU to install a solar battery system and car charger after an initial visit from Steve. Steve and their office team kept me informed of progress with the G99 application and installation date. The scaffolding was put up a few days in advance and taken down soon after completion. The roofers arrived at the agreed time, wearing company uniforms, were polite and considerate, wearing overshoes when they had to enter the house. The commissioning electrician and his apprentice were polite and kept us informed of progress. The system once turned on has worked better than expected.

The 3 young men, who installed heaters and solar panels Lloyd, Callum and Corey were very polite and friendly. Very efficient. They are an asset to their company. Following a change of broadband supplier, I had some technical issues trying to reconnect my data logger and solar system (installed by HelpinU Solar in 2023). Despite initial difficulties rectifying the issue, Josh from HelpinU was extremely helpful (and patient!) and helped me to successfully reconnect the data logger and get my system back online 🙏🏻. Very impressed with the customer support and the team who installed our panels. Easy to deal with from start to finish. The installation team were exemplary - easy to approach and took care knowing we have disabilities. No real disturbance to our day and cleaned up after well. The panels have been in a week and I can see we’ve saved £6 and that’s with rain and dull days

I hadn't met the team before the installation day, but they all introduced themselves and got straight on with the task of fitting 12 solar panels quickly and efficiently. Josh Wilton led the team effectively and with a smile and was able to troubleshoot quickly to get things moving. The aftersales service has also been quick and personal and I'd like to thank the whole team for their efficient and tidy installation in a rather small space.

We have been thinking about having solar panels installed on our roof and we had a number of quotes provided from plans, but after contacting Duracell, Steve Cameron from HelpinU Solar arranged a site visit and advised too install a battery only solution. HelpinU Solar came and fitted 20kws of batteries and inverter in our garage connecting to our house electrical supply. The installation was extremely neat, very professional and carried out on the date agreed. Throughout everybody was friendly, very helpful and could be contacted at any time. Josh was very good made us feel like nothing was too much. Due to my parents being elderly and hard of hearing he took his time to explain the things they needed to know. Would highly recommend. Thank you for helping with the wifi reconnection.

The company provided detailed information on the system being installed and organised the scaffolding. The installation team were friendly and efficient. HelpinU Solar installed solar panels and new battery storage on our new build commercial unit and did a great job. They were exceptionally patient with us throughout the process, despite a few delays on our side including broadband issues delaying the final commissioning by months. HelpinU solar installed my panels and battery towards the end of August 2023. From the survey to the install were very efficient. They spend time explaining everything, there was no hard sell like I had from other companies. They talked me through everything and let me choose the set up I wanted, and were more than happy to give advice of pros and cons of different equipment available. The day of the install - I had already used the scaffolding gain access to the roof to brush down the moss and clean the gutters out. I also gave the roof a good inspection to make sure no roof tiles were broken. The install team were very good. They gave me piece of mind when on my roof and in the loft. They were even happy for me to join them both on the roof and in the loft and take and answer any questions I had. During the install two tiles were accidentally broken and they went to the local roofing supplies and fitted and replaced them with no problems. It’s coming up to 6 months now since install and I’ve not had a problem with the system. The app gives me all the details of what energy the system has produced, what I’ve taken from the grid and what I’ve exported to the grid. I would highly recommend this family company HelpinU to carry out your survey and installation. They do put the customer first and there is no spin and waffle when dealing with them.

I highly recommend HelpinU solar. I had solar panels installed this month and they are working so well, saving money and keeping my house lovely and warm, even when there is no sun. The whole process went through smoothly and was completed in one day. Very nice people to deal with.

From the start dealing with HelpinU was a positive experience. Their quote was comprehensive, detailed and competitive. The installation and commissioning went very smoothly, and we now have an operational solar panel system installed across our roof, garage and loft space. Our Solar system was completed at the end of June this year. The whole experience has been amazingly smooth. The General Manger visited to assess the site and advise us of how the project would evolve. The whole process was top-notch - couldn't be faulted. From the Team who put the panels on, the battery in place and set-up the Electricity system, to the Scaffolding Team. All were very courteous, got on with the job and explained what we should expect while they were with us. We will not know until next year whether it has been financially rewarding, but we feel that the cost was reasonable - we seem to have had rather too much inclement weather since the system was installed - time will tell. It would have been good to have had a Breakdown of the costs, but appreciate that this is a double edged sword. However, we requested this after paying the Bill, but the request was denied.

From start to finish easy, quick, instalment. I was kept well informed from the engineer advisor. The team that fitted the panels were amazing, hard working tidy and polite. Very impressed.

From start to finish of my solar panels with battery and bird protection installation Helpin U were brilliant. Knowledgeable, friendly, honest advise - no overselling, which was appreciated. The fitting team was fabulous, excellent work ethic (not so much the singing maybe 🤣) obviously a well knit team. Nothing was too much trouble and it was a pleasure to have them work on my property. Will, and have already, recommend these guys.

Steve Cameron came to give us a quote he gave concise and information in plain terms with a great price on his visit. He gave options and kept us informed throughout the fitting process and beyond. He arranged at fairly short notice to squeeze us in as we were going to be away. John and his fitting team were polite tidy and efficient during the fitting process and when things needed a bit of a change he checked we were happy before doing any amendments. I would recomend this company to anyone thinking of getting their panels and batteries supplied and fitted by them.

My experience with HelpInU in Peterborough was fantastic. I had recently moved into a detached home and when they contacted me, I was sure it is a scam as there is no way I would be eligible for government grants for home energy efiiciency. I even checked various government websites (for the schemes listed in the pamphlet) to check my eligibility and all of them showed that I was not eligible based on salary criteria. However, Conor from HelpInU was really helpful (and persistent) in explaining why I might be eligible and that there is no scam here as many similar properties in my postcode (including my neighbors) had it done for free in recent years. I gave my go ahead and scheduled a survey and the surveyor was also very professional and explained to me what all I can be eligible for and what not. So my home was eligible for cavitt wall insulation bit not loft insulation. They put in the application on my behalf and within 3 weeks guys came in and completed the job. It took almost half a day for them to complete it. But since then my thermostat cutoff setting has been atleast 2 degrees below what it used to be and my house still feels much warmer than before the insulation. Such a relief in these times of high energy prices. Just to add on, i have another property in the neighborhood which also got surveyed after this property, but that was not eligible for grants (reasons for which Conor explained me well and I was satisfied). Have recommended it to all my friends in the area. They also provide a 25 year guarantee/insurance for this work, so that is handy if ypu plan to sell the property in future.
