Best solar and home battery installation!

Absolutely delighted with the service and high standard of work from Joel, Steve and the Green Energy Solar team! From initial enquiry through to technical installation this company has been super impressive. We wanted to maximise our home battery storage and having not had the best experience with our previous solar installation we found Green Enegy Solar through Telsa as they are authorised Telsa installers. We spoke to John on the phone initially who gave us immediate confidence that this company knew what they were doing and how to do it properly. We ended up getting a couple of other quotes and Green Energy Solar were competitive with their pricing. Installation was completed over two consecutive days by Joel and Steve who were absolutely superb. Professional, neat, tidy and knew what they were doing inside out. They worked non stop for the two days with what was an awkward cable routing from the front of house in the garage all the way to the back of the house to site the batteries on an external wall as we had asked. We were so happy with how neat tidy the electrics and installation all was. So refreshing after the sloppy installation that our previous installer had left. Green Energy Solar rectified all the issues and tidied up our whole battery electrics set up as well as adding the battery expansion units. We couldn't be any happier and massive thank you to John, Joel and Steve. We wouldn't look any further for any future solar, home battery work. This company is simply the best! and we can recommend them absolutely. Photos below show before and after.

I had solar panels with batteries installed. The company handled this is a very timely manner. I did not feel pressured to buy and all my questions were answered promptly. Scaffolding was erected one day and panels installed the next. The fitters arrived at 8am and were done by early pm. They were very engaging whilst here answering question and explaining things. Solar Panels & Battery Installation

Used them in December 2025 to install solar panels and battery. Used them again in February 2026 to install expansion battery pack. Punctual, polite, professionals, no messing around, finished great neat job and cleaned afterwards. Would use again and highly recommended for peace of mind installation.

I recently had my solar and battery system installed by Green Energy Solar, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. From the initial system quotation (including changes I requested), through surveys, to final completion, everything was handled professionally. I had numerous questions along the way and emailed John and the team several times. John took the time to call me personally to talk through the different system options, what was included in the quote, and even invited me to their facility to meet him and the team, which I really appreciated. During installation there was a variance in the number of panels that could be installed, but Lee, Jack, and Billy kept me fully informed throughout the process, including any changes. They went above and beyond to ensure the job was completed properly, and I was genuinely grateful for their effort. Had my 7 panel system with 10kw battery and gateway installed last week by Jack, Lee and breeny. I’m over the moon with it!! The guys took less than a day to install the system and took great care at my house leaving no mess what so ever (jack even mopped the floor 🤣) couldn’t say a bad word about green energy solar on my installation, went above and beyond keeping in touch with me every step of the way, letting me know when they was coming etc, asking if I’m happy with things and positioning of each item. We’ve recently had solar installed by Green Energy Solar and the whole experience has been brilliant from start to finish. The planning process was clear and straightforward, communication was spot on throughout, and everything happened exactly when they said it would. A really smooth process. Luke, Dave and Shea were fantastic on the install – professional, friendly and clearly knew their stuff. The scaffold team were lovely too. We were genuinely astonished at how quickly everything went up, and the quality of the work is excellent. It’s all been running perfectly with zero issues. Everyone we dealt with in the office was great as well – responsive, helpful and patient with questions. One thing that really stood out was that right at the start when we were getting quotes, GES made us aware of the Development Bank of Wales Green Homes Wales loan scheme. That’s helped us massively and we wouldn’t have known about it without them flagging it. It's also really reassuring that they have their own team and don't sub the work out to contractors. Highly recommended. Properly professional company and a great team.

Recently had a Powerwall 3 and extension battery installed, and couldn't be happier with the service. From the initial sales call out to discuss, followed by the technical site visit, installation and post-customer support, everything went as smoothly as we hoped. Customer support reply quickly, typically within a couple of hours when we had questions on navigating the app, and the installation itself was clean and neatly done. Would 100% recommend to family and friends!

I had a Tesla Powerwall and expansion pack installed by Green Energy Solar and I’m very happy with the whole experience. I contacted three companies for comparative quotes, but they were the only ones who sent someone out almost immediately to discuss the requirements and carry out a basic site survey. That made a big difference from the start. They took only a nominal deposit, communication throughout was excellent, and the installation was completed exactly as scheduled. The installation team were professional, tidy, and clearly knew what they were doing. Everything was left in perfect order, and they took the time to explain exactly what had been done and how the system operates. Overall, a very smooth, well-managed job from first contact to handover. Highly recommended.

Very professional operation from initial bookings right through to fixing broken tiles after scaffolding was gone. Solar installation was swift and the advice given prior to installation was honest and technically correct. Jack, Rhys and Billy worked like troopers late into the evening to finish when promised they were very very tidy. 3 months into operation all is good and working well.

Very helpful for the most part but their suppliers can be a bit slow to respond with backup. To be fair to GES they will always do their best to resolve any problems. I would recommend them to anyone.

We were really pleased with the whole process with Green Solar Energy, from start to finish. From the beginning, Gemma was very helpful, kind and efficient, and we really appreciated John taking the time to answer my (many) questions. I spoke to a lot of companies when trying to get quotes for solar panels, and GSE were by far the most knowledgeable and helpful. We were really pleased with the installation (we think by Jack and Lee!), especially as they were a man down for most of the work. They were really professional and friendly, and walked us through every step of the process. I've already recommended them to multiple people who are interested in solar panels!

Very positive experience throughout the whole process. No hard sell, very responsive to emails and phone calls, accommodated my requests to change installation dates easily. Installation team were great, thorough and professional. They even spotted some broken tiles on my roof and replaced these with some spares I had before they installed the panels. Would not hesitate to recommend Green Energy Solar.

These guys were fantastic compared to the previous installers a year prior, I searched for a reputable and reliable company to finish the remainder install for battery and solar. At the offset their professionalism and detailed approach was heads and shoulders above prior company. These aren't even my local company but with the ratings and detailed communication regarding my issues and what I wanted installed it showed immediately the difference in calibre of this company compared to my local installers. Job was completed in a fast efficient time, with respect for my property and surroundings. That may sound silly, however prior company broke garden lights, left rubbish and nails in a garden where 4 kids play, and didn't even do a full handover. So the service Green Energy Solar provided was top notch and even though they aren't my local supplier they were worth utilising if you want a professional installation from start to finish. This isn't just about the engineers on site but the back office management too and aftercare. All fantastic job guys well done! Wish we had yourselves for the first installment. Toby

We would like to thank Jack and his team for all their help and knowledge whilst installing our solar panels a few weeks ago. The boys were all very well mannered, thorough, neat and tidy all throughout the process and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody who is considering having solar panels! Green Energy Solar

Green Energy Solar survey was very professional with a full explanation of the options, prices and savings. The installation team were excellent and very tidy and neat workmanship throught. The electrician was fantastic and went above what was expected and explained the Apps and how the system worked with a manual given at the end of the installation.

We had a second battery added to our solar system

We had a battery added to our solar panel system a year ago. It has saved us on our electricity bills, as we also use the Octopus Economy 7 tariff. In view of that we’ve now had a second battery installed by Green Energy Solar (GES). The installation was very quick and trouble free. I would recommend GES for any solar system.

Superb and professional instalation done by Scott, Luke, Jordan and Rhys. They've done an cracking job of making the whole system look today and professional. It's so nice to see people take pride in the quality of their work! All 4 boys have done GES proud and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone! Ive seen a lot of installs of powerwalls online and I think this is the best looking one I've ever seen. The trunking on all of the cabling looks epic! The panels are absolutely centred and pristine. No complaints from me, only compliments! Well, apart from the rain and clouds as soon as the system was commissioned but that's not their fault 🤣

Have just had a solar panel installation fitted by Green Energy Solar, we are extremely pleased with the results. We had a detailed survey carried out by their engineer where our options were clearly defined. Then the installation began with the scaffolding up for less that a week and the installation taking 1 day. Importantly we were told when the operatives would arrive to start work and they did. All the access needed was outside the house and the operatives were extremely professional. The final part of the installation involved us as customers getting to know the system and how to manipulate it to get the best economic advantage. The office based technical liaison support was first class, responding immediately to any email query that we sent through. The whole process was delivered seamlessly and professionally. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Green Energy Solar.

Would have no difficulties recommending Green Solar Energy. Our experience has been first class at every stage of the process. Office have been excellent to deal with, initial planning was sensible and thorough, without trying to sell you things. Quote was very competetive.They then send a surveyor to oversee the initial plan and arrange installation very quickly. I had a 19 panel solar system with Tesla power wall installed 2 months ago. I was impressed by how easy it was to contact the company for advice and to discuss my requirements. Their software enabled me to compare different hardware set ups and manufacturer's equipment and prices. Joel came out to do the survey and I liked his suggestions for the system and hiding the cabling. I had previously had another quote and survey and felt that Green Energy Solar and Joel were more knowledgeable and experienced. ( And the quote was better) The actual installation was done smoothly and I ( and people who I've shown the system to) think the cable runs are exceptionally neat and well thought out. The paper work has taken a lot longer than expected to come through but this is not the company's fault and calls to Green Energy to chase it up have been quickly answered and dealt with. I am happy to recommend this company.

I had my solar and battery system installed by Green Energy Solar a few weeks ago. They were very professional from start to finish. Everything happened exactly as they said it would and they did a neat and tidy job. All of the kit is working really well and producing over 80% of the energy we've used in the past few weeks. They even took down my old dish and aerial for me. Highly recommend
