1 star is still far too generous of a rating. I found myself with no heating or hot water during the snow and ice at the beginning of the month plus I have a 4 month old baby at home and so I was told I was a priority by the company (evidently not as I had to call back to find out when I would be seen after I was told I would hear that morning and never did) an engineer came out that afternoon, sucked out a blockage (he told me) and that it was sorted, 2 days later I had no heating or hot water again (still during the snow and icy conditions) and they did not know whether someone could come to me that day to resolve the issue - evidently no longer a priority with a 4 month old baby. In the end I called someone else NOT from GYH who came same day and quickly identified that there was a blockage in the pipe under the kitchen sink which sucking it out would not have fixed, he replaced the pipe and I have had no issues since. After putting in a complaint when I received the invoice I had no reply from anyone, I called this afternoon to be transferred through to someone who did not identify themselves and told me they were chatting about my complaint during their lunch which I find to be incredibly unprofessional. Turns out it was the engineer who was sent out to me initially who I was transferred to who then tried to claim that he had done the exact same thing that the independent engineer I called out did. Had this been true I would have not wound up 2 days later once again with no hot water or heating. Absolutely abysmal service, unreliable and quite frankly cannot be bothered to do the job properly.
Contacted 17th Nov as no heat at home, said someone would get back to me, week later heard nothing rang again, was told yes you are on our list and we will let you know when we are in your area, didnt book me an appointment as aparently id have to wait until Dec. Now we are in Dec and still heard nothing, obviously got bigger jobs to do, wont waste anymore time on this company
Tony came and did our annual service and then he himself arranged it so that he came back the next day to fit our new cooker which needed to be converted to LPG. First class gent. Bridget, Ormesby Saint Margaret
I’ve just had an air source pump and heating system installed by GYH and I must say that I have not experienced a more professional group of people in many years. From the two women in the office to the guys on site and of course the sales person everyone was courteous, polite and professional. John the person on site was fantastic and very knowledgeable about his work, I got a jobs for the day from John and his apprentice Calum, before they started. They worked quietly and cleaned up at the end of the day. On the morning other staff members came to help move and place the cylinder they were all just as polite. On the two occasions I had to go into the office the women there were great, helpful and patient and made me feel listened to as well as interested in what I had to say. Nigel the sales person hand delivered information and was super nice and helpful every time we spoke. I could say much more, my experience of this company and it’s staff was top notch. Calum has just left replacing a part and was as you would expect. These guys were like from the old school (in a good way) they know their beans and how to treat the customer. Thank you GYH

I have delayed this review by 6 months because I don’t like to give bad reviews and I believe such reviews should be given after due and full consideration. The verdict is as a household user the most I can give is one star - Great Yarmouth Heating deliver very poor service and treat customers with contempt. The management systems Great Yarmouth Heating have in place is all about profits and nothing about customer service and satisfaction. I had an installation of a new boiler and it was very disappointing. Heavy furniture within the house was changed around significantly and not put back, the computer and internet was disrupted for 5 days without prior warning and there were problems with the new boiler: namely the noise. Despite getting the original person over who quoted for the work the conclusion was nothing was wrong. The big issue you cannot get in touch with the plumber - you need to talk with management and reception regarding problems. I then sent a recording of the noise of the new installation to a friend who then forwarded it to his plumber friends who said there was something definitely wrong regarding the noise. Eventually Great Yarmouth Heating fixed the problem but under duress - only because I complained numerous times. Would I recommend Great Yarmouth Heating - nope. Nice engineer but the directors need to have a good look at themselves. Profit does not mean a happy customer. The above is a brief summary to keep it short. But the stress and inconvenience cannot be truly conveyed here. One star out of five for pathetic service and high fees.
Lovely chap Matt went above & beyond! Couldn’t get to boiler cos the drain block! (Very close to S… everywhere!) He did an excellent job he diserves a bonus! Need more people like him in the world! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I supposed to have an Engineer turn up between 11am -11:30am waited over an hour no phone call to say engineer would be delayed, I ended up phoning them to cancel the appointment very very poor service,

Great Yarmouth Heating company are professional, very capable and do an excellent job. They have installed a lot of air source heat pumps but are the only company I could find in East Anglia who could install the Hitachi Yutaki S80 air source heat pump I really wanted. They use all their own professional engineers rather than sub-contracting. In my case this meant a plumber, an electrician and an F-gas engineer. My site survey and quotation were done by the MD Steve Botson. He was so knowledgable, understood all the issues and had solutions to everything! We hit it off immediately and I was confident they would do a good job. I am absolutely delighted with the end result which meets all my expectations.
Very pleased with the work done. We had our bath replaced with a walk in shower and are so pleased with the results. We had helpful advice from the person who first called. The work was of the highest quality and we are so pleased with the result. The plumber (John) was really very good indeed. He kept disruption to a minimum and lates down dust sheets from the front door. The electrician (Jason) was good too. Everyone involved in the fitting of the shower has been professional and worked to an excellent standard. We are so pleased with the finished result and would be happy to use GY heating for any work that we need in future. Thanks to the whole team and we would definitely recommend them to anyone needing plumbing or heating work done. Thanks again 10/10
Contacted this company on behalf of a friend because her coal griddle plate was broken on her coal fire stove. Steve was absolutely brilliant in his response, he went within a few hours to visit her and check out the stove. He then contacted me to give me the make and model and the order number for the piate. Griddle plate now ordered and fitted. A big thank you to Steve for being so very helpful. We are extremely grateful for your help towards an elderly lady.

The central heating boiler failed over the Christmas period, leaving no central heating or hot water. I left a message and as soon as the company reopened, they contacted me immediately, managed to restore the hot water and the work to completely replace the boiler was completed within nine working days. Excellent customer service and I would recommend this company to anyone.
We had a fault with our combi boiler losing pressure so we called GYH. After about a week they sent out an Engineer to have a look. The Engineer diagnosed a faulty pressure relief valve and said he will get a part ordered and left. We expected GYH to call soon after to re-book to carry out the repair especially as the front panel of the boiler had not been fitted back correctly! Some weeks later a bill arrived through the post from GYH for the work carried out ! I immediately contacted them stating that we are still waiting for them to come and repair our boiler, I was told someone would call us back. They never called. We then received a second bill the work that was not carried out, so I called again and was told again that someone would call us back ! Surprise we never received a call. We then received a third letter stating that if we do not pay our bill they will take matter further to recover there money !!! GYH are nothing but rogue traders who are unwilling to communicate. They want to charge innocent customers for work they never carried out or completed. And leave families stranded with faulty appliances. Very very poor! Think twice before using Great Yarmouth Heating.
Excellent service, engineer was punctual, courteous, clean and respectful of shielding precautions. Would recommend this company.
