An absolutely fantastic company, they just installed a Tesla Powerwall 3 for me and connected it to my solar array. In every aspect they exceeded my expectations, good old fashioned service from a 100% customer driven company, Luke who did my installation impressed my, his attention to detail was incredible and it was refreshing to see him tightening connections using a "torque tool" so every connection was firm without being to tight and causing threads to strip!! If I could have rated the job as a ten star I would, 5 stars is simply not enough!!

A fantastic job completed by Future Proof Solar. I needed a new roof so a perfect opportunity to install integrated solar panels and battery storage. All the works were completed to a very high standard and I am really impressed with the outcome. We are already seeing the benefits of the new system. Highly recommend!

I saw an advert on Facebook which seemed like a good price for a solar and battery install. I was part of a solar group and posted it on there for feedback. Sean who works for Future Proof reached out and we started talking. He arranged to meet me at a date in advance which was a month later. Sean turned up as promised which was great. His knowledge about solar and battery installs was great. I had questions and they were all answered. We were then left for a few weeks to decide what we wanted to do. I did get in touch with a few different companies (there’s hundreds of them) and none of them got back to me. So we decided to go ahead with Future Proof. The install was scheduled then brought forward as there was an opening which was fine. The lads came out and spent all day installing the panels and the system. I was at work so my wife had to deal with people being in our house. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Even though it was a late finish, they talked my wife through setting up the app and a few things you can do. We received our pack with DNO, MCS etc and I’m still able to ask Sean roughly 10 questions a day and he’s answered all our queries. That’s great service.

Just had battery storage fitted, was recommended this company by a neighbour and can see why. From submitting our initial enquiry to having a survey completed by John to install by Luke it has been just over one week. Was a little apprehensive that they could do the job so quickly but did not need to be. They are professional, extremely helpful, and Luke who did our install arrived nice and early and completed the job with attention to detail and competed a very tidy job which we are well pleased with so a BIG thank you Luke. Would have no hesitation in recommending this company they want to do a good job, they are reasonably priced and they care and have respect for your property. If you are looking for anything relating to Solar look no further.

Future Proof Solar came to us highly recommended by a local architectural technician and gave truly excellent service. John Longden the MD personally conducted the survey and explained the options clearly and simply. We went for 2 banks of 8 solar panels totalling 7600 watts maximum output and a Tesla Powerwall 3 with a Tesla Gateway for grid independence. The price was very competitive and the system looks like good value for money and is performing well. Where Future Proof really excelled though, was in what they can do when external factors which are outside their control go badly wrong. Our plan was to have a new roof fitted and then to have the on-roof solar panels fitted on top of that. During the re roofing job which was done by another good but local roofing firm, Pinnacle, it became apparent that there was a serious quality problem with the roof tiles and a lot were rejected upon delivery. As it transpired, even when seemingly good replacements were fitted on the roof they had a latent defect which did not come to light immediately, but which resulted in a lot of cracking failure of the tiles. Future Proof came to install the hybrid battery unit on 17th December but due to the construction of the house this took a bit longer than anticipated so they came back on the 19th to fit the panels. This proved to be impossible as the roof tiles were breaking all around them with no provocation. Supervisor Luke contacted John Longden who made us an amazing offer to switch to an in roof tray type installation, which would then make the solar installation totally independent of the roof tiles, and this was offered to us at material cost with no additional labour cost . The in roof panel installation successfully completed on 22nd December - their last working day before Christmas, when Future Proof worked hand in hand with our roofing firm Pinnacle to get the job done. Future Proof have graciously lost out on the extra work required for this job and we will try and compensate them for this as and when we can get compensation from the tile manufacturer. How many other solar firms could have turned this problem around like Future Proof did then ? How could anyone else have turned potential disaster into a resounding success ? Well done Future Proof with John, and Luke and the team. Recommended.

Just had our system installed and the guys from Future Proof solar have been fantastic right from the start. They provided a very competitive quote compared to other companies. Booked us in, and kept in touch when the scaffolding company had to postpone for a couple of days. On the install day the guys were really professional, and went above and beyond to ensure the cabling and electrics were installed in the best way for us, even moving some of our existing components in the electric cupboard to ensure their equipment would fit in. Handover was great, and documentation was supplied within a few days after the install! Would definitely recommend

We had Solar and batteries installed by Future Proof Solar last month. There were 26 Aiko panels, 2 X 10kwh Sigenstor batteries and a Sigenergy 8kw inverter. We selected Future Proof Solar after consulting 8 other suppliers, both national and local. Their price was very competitive but equally important was the confidence that we felt after meeting John - no hard sell, very open and honest and every question we asked was answered. The actual installation was on time, very quick (or so it seemed to me) and tidy. Everyone we met from panel installers to electrician were without exception friendly and competent and inspired confidence. Are we happy with our choice - very! I cannot think of how it could have been done better. I started on this journey as a total solar novice and whilst I am no expert I am confident that our choice of system and supplier was as good as we could get. Performance - whilst we have received limited benefit from the solar panels due to the time of year, the batteries combined with the Octopus Cosy tariff (we have an Air Source Heat Pump) has dramatically reduced our electricity bills. In conclusion we strongly recommend Future Proof Solar and are very happy with their work and advice and whilst I would not presume to tell anyone what they should do I would advocate that they at least consider them if they are considering installing solar panels or batteries.

The lady I spoke with, Carol, was very knowledgeable about her products. We puttogether a fantasticaly priced deal. The service was excellent. The customer service is brilliant. The fitting crew were really quick, tidy, and polite and friendly, just like us. I have been researching solar pricing for a long time. Our flat-roof solar panels were featured on Facebook today, which reminded me to get in touch and thank the whole team. I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Future Proof Solar! From the first consultation to the final handover, everything was made easy and completely stress-free. The solar panels and battery system are working perfectly, and I really appreciated the time taken to walk me through how everything operates. We had 20 panels installed, 8 on flat roof of house extension and 12 on garden room flat roof. There was slight damage to the edge of 1 panel, which happened in transit, this was replaced within a week. My home is now running greener and more efficiently. A brilliant company with brilliant service—highly recommended!

FPS recently installed 22 panels with 2 x 9kWh batteries at a very competitive price. I dealt with John Longden throughout who was very knowledgeable, non-pressurising and guided me through the whole process. He was very quick to answer all queries any time and even at weekends. From initial consultation to commissioned system was approximately 6 weeks which included an onsite survey which took around 45 minutes and was unintrusive. The installation team were great, very friendly and did a neat job. They were done within around 5 hours. Only minor cons were that they leave all boxes the inverter / batteries come in for you to dispose of and they rely on external scaffolders who can be slightly unreliable with timings. Overall an excellent experience with these guys and would highly recommend.

Future Proof Solar did a fantastic job with our Solar panels with Sigenergy Inverter, batteries and gateway installation in May. The whole team was excellent professional, friendly, and really efficient. The system was fitted to a very high standard, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I’m extremely happy with my installation by future proof Solar. The initial engagement with Carole was easy and straightforward, the provision of documentation and facts so that I could come to an informed decision was made simple which for me is a bonus. The installation went extremely well with Liam and his team turning up on time and working non-stop all through till 7 pm when they were beaten by the weather just. They came back the following Monday to complete the install to an extremely high standard. Questions I had after installation were dealt with professionally and quickly, and my documentation for SEC application has been sent to me within a week of installation. Couldn’t be happier. Excellent system, great value, flawless install

I had 18 x 460w Aiko N-Type All Black panels (30-year output warranty), a 6kW Hanchu Hybrid Inverter, 9.4kWh Hanchu battery (both with 12-year warranties), plus a Dual Box for 2 x Solar PV systems all installed for just an amazing price – including full scaffolding, MCS certificate, DNO approval and HIES insurance. Futureproofsolar were extremely efficient from start to finish. The install went exactly to plan, the team were professional and well-organised, and the system was up and running smoothly in no time. They even fitted bird mesh netting around the panels free of charge, which was a great added bonus. Since installation, we've used zero electricity from the grid – the battery is perfectly sized to power the house through the night. The system performs brilliantly, the Hanchu app is excellent and lets you see what the panels are generating, what your house is using, how the battery is charging/discharging, and the price was outstanding for what was delivered. I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Future Proof Solar to anyone considering solar.

Really easy and stress free process

Really easy and stress free process throughout, Sean as Commercial Sales Manager helped us with our residential install, which at first might have felt like the wrong person due to his commercial role but he had fantastic customer service, was extremely knowledgeable throughout and happy to adjust options and take time to make sure we found the right package for us. And when you get such good customer service, sometimes you expect to pay a higher price for it… that doesn’t seem to happen here as the quotes I received for each different package I asked about were considerably cheaper than other national installers. I highly recommend them and the team who installed the panels were quick and efficient but also thorough and showed me through operation for a while before leaving. If you are on the fence, I cannot speak higher of the firm’s attitude to getting it right. My install consisted of a Hanchu 9.4kw battery system with a 5kw inverter and 12 Aiko Neostar 2s+ 460w’s. Came to a heavily market leading price compared to other providers. Do not hesitate to ask as many questions as you need with these guys, they will spend time and help guide you through it accurately and carefully!

Absolutely delighted with Future Proof Solar who supplied and fitted a Tesla Power Wall 3 Expansion pack to my existing solar/battery installation. The system completely crashed after…

The system completely crashed after just 18 months, even though we had reported issues multiple times before. Despite the contract clearly stating a 2-year warranty, they refused to honour it and charged a call-out fee every single time we reported a fault. This is unacceptable and shows a total lack of responsibility. I strongly recommend looking for a different installer—there’s no real aftercare or accountability here.

I so wish I had used this company sooner

So, you’ve come this far, to check out the reviews of Future Proof Solar and good on you for your due diligence. Now do yourself the best favour that you have done yourself in years and make contact with them. I could spend ages sitting here writing at my keyboard of just how good this company is, but at the end of the day it is down to you to pick up the phone and call them, I promise you won’t regret it. I am still kicking myself I didn’t do this sooner. The Positives of this company in my opinion and in my order; A quoted price that you think is too good to be true, (when compared for like for like quotes from other sellers). They have been in business a good length of time and a solid company by Company house Standards, with great public feedback and reviews. There is No pushy sales teams (Nice formal chat just to see what you are looking for and go from there, and definitely no trying to oversell). Responsive when you are trying to learn more, and a credit to every team member I came in contact with for the information imparted with, before during and after install. Equipment Installed that is some of the best on the market. Property visit time to suit you not them. Install date and time kept to. Professional installers, Clean and tidy with their work. And last but not least, in my case, a system that is providing 3 times my energy needs in the winter months no less, and a feeling that at last I am making an impact to my environmental footprint. I have 11 x 460W panels, plus inverter with a 9.4KWH Battery and I am producing over 26KW in the winter, yes, you read that right the winter, and by my basic understanding at peak could be producing close to 60KW on a really good summer's day. I’ve gone on longer than I had planned But I will say it again because I believe this to be so true, do yourself a massive favour and ring them and I an sure you will end up with a system that you are as happy with, as I am with mine.

The installation of the solar panels and battery were carried out in less than a day. Very professional company, very friendly and I'm very happy with my installation. There was a small problem and the engineer was at our property within a day to rectify everything. After service as we are novices is amazing. Can fully recommend this company without a doubt!

Looking over the market I found futureproofsolar and got a quote, it was one of the cheapest quotes, I was able to check all their credentials prior to even contacting them. I was contacted by Liam who gave me multiple options of systems with some recommendations based on my usage. There was no hard upsell. Liam submitted all the paperwork and sorted the DNO very quickly. Scaffolding was put up by a nice group of lads, shows that they pre vet scaffolders prior to working with them. The day of install came, they came nice and early, was very quick and did a very tidy job. After it was installed I was shown around the app and how to use the app. The system was working on day 1, feeding into the battery and the energy my house was using. After I made the final payment I was sent the completion pack with the certificates. Liam offered to help me complete the export tariff sign up form over the phone. FutureproofSolar was available over the phone and email to answer all my questions. I would strongly recommend contacting Futureproofsolar if you are looking at getting solar and/or a battery installed. I must admit that I’m one of the fussiest Customer’s any Company could have to deal with, as I’m quite OCD and like a Tidy Finished Job. “Future Proof Solar” have installed me a PV System with Battery, that more than meets my Expectations! The Low Price, Positive Reviews and a Personal Recommendation from a Good Friend, was what first drew me to them and they’ve been more than Fair throughout the whole process, from Start to Finish! What you have to remember when choosing a Company to spend your hard earned cash with, is also think about the After Sales Service? - To be Honest, there was a few things they had to come back to finish off, but it was all done in Good Time and with a Smile on their Faces. Fantastic job from 1st contact to finish

We had our solar system installed last month and couldn’t be happier. From first contact to completion everything was fantastic. No high pressure sales, Pav answered all my questions. Installation day was great and everything went well, Luke and Reece were amazing & very knowledgeable, we’re delighted with everything, the installation was very professional and neat. They had issues with our Internet set up and stayed really late to finish the job. Everyone in the company we we dealt with was top notch and the pricing was very competitive. I did a huge amount of research before getting our system and I’m 110% happy, no sales pressure to add on a lot of extras like other companies did.
