Solar and battery system

Had a very good experience with all members of the team, Hannah is very communicative and responsive, Rob is very professional and planned a solar and battery system tailored to our specific needs and requests, all electricians were very professional, work started a week earlier than proposed and was completed at a very high level of tidiness, wires managed in an aesthetically pleasant way. Can not fault the work, craftsmanship and after completion service. Had few observations after system installed and were all quickly fixed. Highly recommended and would consider having future upgrades with them.

Solar PV, battery and EV charger installation

I can’t recommend Limitless enough after they installed a PV array, battery and EV charger at our house. From the initial chat with Rob to the design, installation and follow up visits, the whole process was really smooth. Rob, Hannah and the installation team really listened to our views and took the time to talk us through everything step by step. You get the impression from some companies that there is a hint of opportunism and corner cutting to capitalise on decarbonisation initiatives, but you can be absolutely certain that Rob and Hannah and the rest of the team really believe in what they do and are completely genuine in their endeavours to design and fit the right systems from their customers. Rob talked me through the various PV options, stressing that even the cheaper options they offer are fully traceable with accountability through the supply chain. We were worried about the cable run from the inverter to the distribution board, and from the distribution board to the charger, but the electrical guys (Stuart, Jamie and Martin) worked some magic to find the perfect solution. They also talked me through the app and the various settings to get the best out of the system. We financed the installation through the Green Homes Wales scheme and Rob and Hannah expertly negotiated their way through the numerous hoops and administrative pitfalls to meet all the scheme’s requirements at the first attempt. The follow up support form Hannah to get all the documentation for the smart export guarantee was also much appreciated. Having people working in and around your house can sometimes be a bit strange, but the best testimonial I can give on that front is that our kids were genuinely gutted when we said it was the team’s last day, and that they wouldn’t be able to have their morning chats with Jonathan and the rest of the guys. Rob and Hannah are great people and they’ve clearly put in a lot of effort to build a team of other great people. And to top it all off, the whole team worked their socks off to get everything finished before Christmas so we were able to make the most of the amazing sunshine.

Installed an air source heat pump for us and it's fantastic!

We've just had an air source heat pump installed by Limitless Energy and it's fantastic! We've wanted to do this for a while but we were concerned that our property may not be suitable as it's a detached house, built in the 1870s of solid stone & brick without any wall insulation, and we have microbore pipework which we'd read wouldn't be ideal. We eventually decided to approach a few companies to carry out assessments. When Rob from Limitless came here we were impressed with his knowledge and experience, but also with his approach - he genuinely seemed to care about developing a system that would meet our needs. Throughout the design phase he patiently answered all our queries, was responsive and good-humoured and clearly very knowledgeable. We really felt we could trust him. The heat loss calculations he performed reassured us that it would be OK to go ahead although we were still a little nervous that we may be asking too much of any heat pump to cope with our house! The members of the team who carried out the installation (Shaun, Aaron and Mark) were also knowledgeable and highly skilled, discussed with us what they were planning to do at every stage and did everything they could to accommodate our preferences re. the location of new pipework etc. We were given a comprehensive explanation of the system once it was up and running, along with written material to consult. We received a follow-up call from Hannah the following day checking we were happy, or needed any further advice, and letting us know how to contact them, if we needed to, over the Christmas period. The day after the new system started operating we woke up to a warm, cosy home that's never felt so comfortable, even though it's December! The warmth we want is maintained around the clock, which feels like a real luxury but without the environmental damage that would have been caused by our old gas boiler. The cost is about the same as we were previously paying to run our central heating for a few hours a day, morning and evening. All our previous concerns about our house being unsuitable for this type of heating system have been laid to rest. Anyone thinking of installing a heat pump would be well advised to contact Limitless Energy to discuss it.
