Do not use this company they deserve No stars

I would have given NO stars if it was possible . Do not use this firm I have had the most horrendous experience. The service for my heat pump should have been a simple job nothing was wrong with it. First I’m left with no heating I was ill and couldn’t get back to them straight away which they held against me. When someone came back I was told it was an electrical fault. Waited days for the electrician to come who said my heating settings were all wrong he fixed them and I finally had heating but no hot water . They promised to come out on the only day I was in only to let me down. When I phoned them to ask when someone was coming out they hadn’t got the appointment they promised and I’m told I would have to pay a call out fee. All the problems I’ve had started with the service they are a nightmare . The person I am calling out is Michael. He has no idea what customer service is you must not get upset when you are talking to him as he will shut down your call . They have left me with no hot water for days and don’t give a damn. How they have got the high stars and good reviews is a mystery to me . DO NOT USE THEM THEYDONT GIVE A DAMN AND ARE VERY RUDE . Shame they don’t know what they are doing on a simple job I can’t begin to say how I regret I ever used them. I never write reviews but I felt I must try and protect others from making the mistake I made believing their advert that are the best in Lincoln . Utter Rubbish

Thank you Dan,Kane and Kai for doing a great job installing our new heating system. They came in Monday and never stopped, working late night to get it all done by Friday. They cleaned up every day and their work was so neat when finished I can't praise them enough. Everything explained, contact numbers if I needed them. So we'll done all, it was a pleasure to have them here. Thank you again.

First class, professional service from Dan at Greenlinc Renewables. He answered my initial call promptly and gave me clear and concise details of when he could call to look at the problem. Dan arrived on time and quickly set about diagnosing the problem. He offered me various solutions in plain English, in a manner that I could understand. Problem now solved. After sales service was first class. Dan kept in touch with me for a day or so to ensure that everything was working as it should. I will have no hesitation in using Greenlinc again if I have further problems. 5 star service. Very well done, Dan. I am a very satisfied customer. Since writing this review I have used Greenlinc to resolve a further problem with my hot water system. The office staff (Laura) were absolutely first class. She understood my concerns and arranged for a member of the team to visit at very short notice. Brendan was brilliant. He listened to my concerns and issues. He explained what was happening and then set about solving my hot water problems. First class service all round. Very professional and a credit to their trade. Very well done everyone concerned.

At first Dan arranged a What’s App conference call so that I could talk through the issues and show him the problems online. This was followed up by 2 site visits. Dan then put together options and prices for me to think about. I decided to let Dan and his team put in a new cylinder and re-engineer the pipe work and circulation pumps. He also replaced the incorrect pipe work that was being used to my main bathrooms. The work was completed within 2 days and is currently working far better than it has before . I have been asked to monitor the system and keep Dan informed on its performance. I cannot thank him and the team enough.

ASHP issues resolved

Thank you so much Craig and team for installing my complete heating system Inc the ASHP last year. Was a big job starting from scratch,part of an eco4 installation. Craig and his team didn't stop while they were here, sometimes later in the evenings to get the job done in the tight time scale they had not being local. We had good advice on our solar/battery installation - and we made many changes. The team involved were great all the way through from design to installation and commissioning. The workmanship was neat, tidy and speedy and the system was up and running on the second day. A small hiccough was sorted the same day that I reported it. Everyone involved was pleasant, helpful and keen to do a good job. Now I have had all the necessary paperwork to apply for the SEG payment so its all systems go! Happy to recommend Greenlinc to anyone.

Apologies to Greenlinc that this is a slightly later review than originally planned. I don't normally leave reviews generally, however, I felt personally obligated to leave a review for Greenlinc Plumbing & Renewables to really showcase how excellent this company is. If you are within their catchment area I strongly encourage you to utilise them for your servicing and maintenance requirements, you will not be disappointed. It's a long one, but equally I really think it is worth a read! So on Monday 13th January, we (myself, wife, 8 year old and 1 year old) woke up to find that we had no central heating or hot water. We have an AirSource Heat Pump installed and it had sadly thrown up a flow rate error (Samsung E911) which had unfortunately stopped the system working. I contacted Greenlinc in the morning and advised of my situation, and the fact that we had a young child and baby and after attempting various measures over telephone and email instructions (which I would like to say is another plus of this company, the free advice given to try and resolve rather than instantly sending someone out at cost) to no avail I was advised someone would be with me during the afternoon THAT SAME DAY, fantastic! 13/01/2024 - Carl and Dan/Josh(Apologies couldn't remember which way round they came) arrived at the property, having just completed what sounded like a nightmare of a job. Nevertheless, they both were extremely polite and professional and got straight to work at attempting to diagnose the issue. We believed the issue had been identified and at the time the hot water was heating so they left. 14/01/2024 - Unfortunately, as can often happen the error came back during the early hour of the morning, meaning again no hot water or heating in the morning. I contacted Greenlinc again to advise of the situation and they informed me someone would be with me that day. Carl arrived with a different member of the team, Dan/Josh(Apologies couldn't remember which way round they came) and once again cracked straight on with trying to identify the issue. The pair worked tirelessly for hours trying to sort but unfortunately this was a mystery and with fading daylight the decision was taken to reconvene the next morning. 15/01/2024 - Carl and Paul arrived nice and early to finally get this error resolved. They both worked like champs throughout the day, changing parts, adding new pipework and completely flushing the system and filters until finally we arrived at a fully functioning system. Much of the headaches with trying to fix this issue were attributed to how the system had been installed poorly (by a different company). Simple things like the non-existence of shut of valves around filters and water inlets made the whole experience that more challenging and time-consuming due to having to drain the entire system in order to work on specific areas. I am pleased to say that Greenlinc have now installed additional hardware to future-proof this from being an issue again. All in all, thoroughly impressed. Keep the guys topped up with hot drinks, they really do deserve it. Please pass on this review to the 4 guys mentioned and ensure it is shared with the Directors how satisfied I was with the politeness and professionalism of all that I came into contact with during this timeframe. Just had Thia company install an air source heat pump for my Mum and I was so impressed with how professional, meticulous and knowledgeable the team was. They installed everything, left the house clean and tidy and explained how everything worked in easy steps. I would recommend this company to everyone. Greenlinc plumbing & renewables came to us from 2 recommendations from colleagues. They were totally professional and not only would I recommend the system we have had fitted but also the team that fitted it. Absolute trust in all aspects of their work and the fitting team Brendon & Josh are two of the nicest lads you could wish to meet. A credit to the company. Caitlin made the initial onsite assessment and continued with all the admin and office based needs but very pleased to see her make an onsite visit on completion. This team deserve all the praise and more. Even the scaffold team arrived promptly and carried out all the work in a timely safe manner and again come highly recommended. If anyone is considering solar panels this team will perform. A++++++++

Dan and his team installed PV panels, storage batteries and a car charger. The quotation was detailed, the installers were professional and worked to a high standard. They have since provided a good backup service.

Great Service

Dan and his team fitted a Solar PV and Batteries to our home. Very professional team (Brendan, Richie and Lee) who just got on with the job and installed a very neat looking system in under a day. Left the site all clean and tidy; would highly recommend.

We had a ground source heat pump installed by another company 10 years ago. We had no follow up service from this company after it was installed, despite having numerous problems from the start - atrocious service. We limped along with various companies and then we found Greenlinc. We contacted Dan, who immediately came and sorted us out and for the first time after years, we had a functioning heating system and warm floors. Fast forward to this year when the heat pump failed 3 days before Christmas. Despite not being at work, Dan answered his phone and helped us out. He accurately diagnosed the problem and got our pump working again. I cannot speak highly enough of Dan. He provides an excellent and efficient service and he cares, which is not a quality found these days.

So after our heat pump stopped working a few weeks ago, we gave Greenlincs a ring to see if they could help us out, we were without heat or hot water and it was bloody cold outside! They saw that it was an emergency and managed to get us squeezed in that very same afternoon. Absolutely top work from a top local firm, would highly recommend and will most definitely be using again for all our heat pump services. Spot on.

We went with Craig and Dan's team after assessing several companies for a significant and complicated job. Many companies are just 'middle men', whereas with GreenLinc Craig and Dan visit, quote and importantly do all the work with their team. Our property had two oil boilers and a variety of new and old (listed building) building standards and radiators. Firstly their site survey was detailed - checking the requirements for every room and discussing our options for ASHP and/or a hybrid system. Full calculations were provided. They were very patient with my many questions and in the end we opted for a large ASHP, underfloor heating in several rooms, PV panels for ASHP power and hot water. We also have remotely sited the ASHP (around 20m) from the listed property for aesthetic reasons (the pipework runs underground). We had to obtain planning permission for the PVs, so a delay during the summer. However Green Linc had booked us in for the work and met the timescale. The management of sub-contractors was excellent (scaffolding, ground works etc.) and I was kept informed throughout. The work was fairly extensive but conducted efficiently and was clean and tidy every day. Great liaison with the builder prepping the floor. The system has now been running since the end of November and is delivering a warm and cosy house and on many days fully self sufficient with the PVs powering the ASHP, washing machine, dishwasher and all. I thoroughly recommend this company.

Air Source Heat Pump Install 5 STAR Dan and Greenlinc installed my ASHP after previously been let down by another installer. Dan provided all the quotes and paperwork exactly on time as promised, started the install on the agreed date, was on time, his level of work is excellent. He also took the time to answer any query I had by email or phone. Please if your thinking of an air source heat pump contact Dan and his team. 5 star service from start to finish, couldn't be happier.

Dan, Craig & the team were excellent, exceptional customer service and work from Greenlincrenewables. They installed an Air Source Heat Pump to replace our 18 year old oil boiler and some underfloor heating in our new extension, From the outset they have been friendly, reliable and & we would highly recommend them.

We cannot recommend Greenlinc enough. From start to finish Dan and Craig have provided an excellent service. What they do not know about renewable energy and installation isn’t worth knowing! From start to finish they have offered advice and excellent support. They have promptly answered (and solved) any queries and problems we have had, even coming out on New Years Day to check the system. Their after-service care is also excellent and we have had no hesitation in recommending them to family and friends. I honestly wouldn’t bother obtaining a quote from any other company, as I don’t think either the price or the service they offer could be beaten.

from the start,i was given a quote and full description of work done. This included correct size radiators for each room according to calculations to get the best and most efficient way to heat the house.The workmanship is clearly of a very high standard and when the system was fitted, Dan & Craig returned the following week to check on everything before they could sign it off. All in all, I would highly recommend Greenlinc to anyone wishing to get air source heating as they are clearly specialists in their field.

We approached Greenlinc for information on Air Source Heating for a new build house, from the very first call; Dan was extremely helpful; and within a couple of days was on site. We received all the advice and help we needed, with no pressure we were comfortable in being able to make an informed decision. We placed an order and within a week installation started; Dan and Craig were totally professional from start to finish, were consummate professionals, and simply got on with the job, with no complaints or issues. I cannot recommend or praise them highly enough.

Dan and Craig are amazing. They answered every question we had and more. Very flexible with booking us in for quotes and installation. Worked with us to design the perfect heating and hot water system to suit our needs. Very professional and arrived promptly every day. We were always updated regularly via call or email. They worked flat out Monday to Sunday to get our system up and running. The house was always tidy when we came home and the system was installed as neatly as possible given the space limitations.
