From my initial queries right through to completion of my solar and battery setup, Laurie and Sun Spark Solar have been fantastic! I shopped around for installers, but was absolutely delighted by Sun Spark Solar. Right away, Laurie dropped by to have a chat and inspect my home for suitability. From that point, Sun Spark Solar offered me options based on their expert experience and our home. They were also happy to go into much more detail and customisation to make it something I am really chuffed with. So we now have a cutting edge system tailored specifically to our needs, allowing for further future expansion and featuring a complete whole house automatic backup if the grid ever drops. Having it expandable also helped cut costs. Stackable batteries, with space for an additional stack, plus a high-output inverter allows us to get the most out of the solar panels and become independent from being held to ransom by ever increasing electricity prices. Very soon the electric company will be paying me for electricity! I've heard other installers can cause scaffolding to be up for quite a while. However, Laurie arranged for the scaffolding to go up the day before installation started and had it fully removed just a couple of days after the install! Brilliant! Now I'm in the aftercare period, and Laurie is guiding me through the process for setting me up to be paid for excess generation (by "guiding" i mean... he's doing it for me, awesome!) My neighbours are already asking about the install, and I'm very highly recommending Sun Spark Solar to them. Overall, a really quick, professional and tailored install. We love it!

Laurie & team did a really great job installing solar panels, battery & inverter to our bungalow. All the work was of the highest order and we're already seeing very positive results with nigh on 60% of our energy now coming from the roof in the 3rd week of October! Thoroughly recommended!

Following a failure of the original 11 year old solar inverter. I contacted Sub Spark Solar for a quote as the original company was no longer trading. My call was answered straight away, a quote was arranged quickly and within 2 weeks the system was back up and running. The installation was completed with no problems, efficiently and professionally with great attention to the property and no mess left behind. Thoroughly recommend.

Thoroughly recommend Sun Spark for solar panel installation. They were professional, informative and helpful from initial contact right through to aftercare. They completed the job in the timescale they estimated, they were efficient and friendly, not intrusive in their works at all. They made sure the system and software were working properly and gave us a detailed rundown of how best to use it. They were also the only company we got quotes from suggest that we could make efficient use of our rear (West-facing) roof as well as the South-facing front roof, to maximise our power generating potential.

Laurie has maintained my solar array for a number of years so it was no surprise that l contacted him last year to add battery storage. After completing a survey, taking time to understand our electricity generation and usage he proposed a GivEnegy system providing a detailed and competitive quotation.The installation was completed with no problems, efficiently and professionally. In the last few days l have upgraded my broadband and asked Laurie to guide me through reconnecting the system to the new wi fi. Laurie could not have been more helpful in his advice and enabled us to do what a lot of other companies said was not possible due to the size of system we wanted to install (12kwh with 20kwh storage and 2x 5kw linked inverters). He researched the matter thoroughly on our behalf and obtained the necessary licence. His team were extremely polite and tidy, turned up when they said they would and completed the install (4 days) without issue. We had a few problems initially with the set up but Laurie dealt with all the problems promptly and efficiently. We could not recommend him more highly…..as an additional + he is also a great electrician and has literally just sorted out an issue we had totally unconnected with the solar install.

Sun Spark Solar from Teignmouth, Devon have just installed a solar PV array on our house in Bovey Tracey, with battery backup. It was a slightly challenging task due to the small roof size but Laurie and his team managed to make the best possible use of the available space. Really pleased with the service and the system installed by Laurie and his team at Sunspark Solar. I was slightly concerned about whether to use a smaller business over some of the larger competitors, but after meeting with Laurie and taking his advice, I quickly trusted him more than some of the other installers who provided quotes. The quote itself was very reasonable and came in slightly less than one of the competitors, so for me, it was a no brainer to go with Sunspark. We've now got our system fully installed and I love it! We have a GivEnergy battery and some Perlight panels. We're almost grid-free and once we're on with Octopus properly, we should actually make a bit of money back. Great service, quality and price... We used Sun Spark Solar for our solar panels installation. Laurie was very responsive from the beginning he came over explain a lot about different installations and send us a proper quote. Qoute was good very good we managed get much bigger system then competitors offered. Laurie explained all the questions, provide info about warranty etc. Instalation was swift and very very tidy . What a brilliant company, I had a PV solar installation done very badly by a different company, ( it was installed by 2 Installers in 4 hours, 22 panels, inverter and batteries). Conncerned it wasn't done correctly I asked Laurie to came out and do an investigation to check the system was up to standard, he found several issues some of which were major problems, he did a professional report which I sent to the company who did the installation. I hadn't paid the original company yet and after discussing it with them it was agreed that they would pay Laurie to come back to my house to carry out the correctional work. ( Laurie's report was so professional they could not argue with it , photo evidence and detailed information) He spent two days correcting the problems. Highly professional, the repair work was carried out to a high standard. He took the time checking all the documentation I was sent was correct and was extremely helpful. I just wish I went with sun spark solar in the first place. If you are getting a solar panel installation done trust this man.

After a lengthy, expensive and non productive time with another big solar company to rectify my problem panels installed by a company who went bust I thought I would give Sun Spark Solar a go. I'm very pleased with them so far. Laurie was quick to respond, very reasonable, honest and has achieved much more at a fraction of the cost in only two weeks. Definitely recommend them.

Laurie has done several jobs for us this year including the removal of panels for roof repairs and refixing. We also had him carry out work on seagull defence to protect the panels from the problems associated with nesting.It was all done in a reliable efficient way and we remain most grateful to him at a time of need.
