We always try to use a local company for any work required, so after shopping around we chose SolarVolt. From the start the guys were brilliant. They explained in easy to understand terms which setup suited us best, without any of the hard sell and pressure that others big companies had done. The installation was quick ,hassle free, and very neat. We received all the necessary paperwork along with a full explanation of how the system worked. Great local businesses, highly recommended.

I am very pleased with the installation of my EV charging point. A tidy job done on time and he handled all the tricky paperwork with the electricity grid people He even pointed out that we had some woodworm under the stairs that needed dealing with Mark was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Had an inverter and batteries replaced by Mark a month ago and it's working better than ever. The transition from old to new was seamless. Communication from beginning to end was spot on. I had a couple of questions a week or so after installation which were answered promptly too. Mark turned up on time, finished on time and was professional throughout. We are delighted with the installation of solar panels and battery at our house. Mark has been immensely helpful and considerate throughout the process. The work was carried out efficiently, with each member of the team contributing their expertise to bring everything together. The position of the panels makes them unobtrusive and the battery fits discreetly into our garage. I am impressed by the information available through the related app and the simplicity of control of the system once it has been set up. Was looking for a firm to bird proof our solar panels...after Having had a bad experience with another solar company, Mark and Clint had a quick look and reassured me that although not perfect it wasn't as bad as I first thought. (If only I knew of this company beforehand) they put a mesh around the panels and did an excellent job at a fare price.I would highly recommend this company very professional and friendly.

A problem arose suddenly with our solar meter. First time we have needed a repair, and a chance meeting brought Solar Volt.UK into our home. Clint and Mark provided literally overnight professional service and Mark made a full repair and provided us with an absolute thorough explanation of the problem, repaired it, and advised us on a far more valuable use of the equipment we already had installed. Fantastic customer service and would highly recommend this company.

We were very pleased with the installation and service provided by Mark and his team at SolarVolt. They removed the old gas fire and boiler chimneys on the roof, replaced some tiles, repaired the ridges and eaves futureproofing the roof before installing the solar panels and battery storage for us. Everything was installed efficiently and neatly. Mark explained to us about how the system works and he also set up the system to help us run our heat pump at a lower cost during the winter and hopefully earn an extra income by exporting excess solar generated energy during those months when the central heating is not required. It's early days since the install but we have faith in the system and the backup from SolarVolt should there be any problems in the future.

The team at Solarvolt were brilliant from the start, keeping us informed throughout. We needed a new roof, which they did along with inbuilt panels on it. Battery and inverter fitted neatly in the garage. All done at at a better price for a more powerful system than some larger companies were offering. Very happy and it's good to know if I have any questions they are at the end of the phone or will come round. Brilliant work, brilliant customer service 👏 👍

Please read this if you're thinking of going solar! I can't recommend SolarVolt highly enough. If you're considering solar panels then I suggest you have a visit from Mark to see how much you will benefit. He is so easy to deal with and there is no pressure applied, the figures speak for themselves and you WILL save in the coming years. We agreed to the work being carried out, Mark was there for us every step of the way to answer questions and explain what was happening, it was very easy and no stress at any time. I explained we had experience of negative issues with other tradespeople at the house in the past, but at no time were we inconvenienced by either the scaffolding or the fitting of the panels. Our payback period for the investment was estimated at 9 years, but we are on track to reduce that significantly, we are a higher use household. Our panels were installed at the back of last year, now spring is coming we are already seeing days where we are making money by selling back to the grid. Watching the solar panels app is addictive! We are completely satisfied with Mark, SolarVolt, and our panels and I have had no hesitation in recommending Mark to our friends. Obviously this is a big investment that requires careful thought, but people who know me well know I wouldn't recommend a company or supplier that I hadn't been totally happy with. Thank you.

Had a system fitted today by the guys. Great job. Very neat and tidy work. They worked hard all day in the cold and wet. They then explained how my system works and connected me up to the app. I will refer them to my friends without hesitation.

Mark & the team from Solar Volt fitted our new solar panel system on 16th October. From the first point of contact they were professional, knowledgeable & extremely efficient. Mark recommended 25 solar panels split between the front & back of the property, with a 7kw battery storage & an inverter. They were reasonably priced, with great products. The work was completed very professionally with great care to our property. Overall we are highly delighted with the neat work & system. The follow-up handover package is excellent & contains guarantees, certificates & guidance, which was explained in detail by Mark. We cannot fault this team at all & highly recommend them as a company 👌

SolarVolt came to our rescue on more than one occasion following an install by another company. They identified several areas where the install did not comply with industry standards, including incorrect wiring that led to battery failure within a few months after the install and offered us exceptional customer support. They gave us not only expert advice but helped us address the issues quickly and professionally with the relevant bodies. Don't be taken in, like us, by a company offering nationwide coverage that just don't have in place the back office resources to deal with any queries post install. SolarVolt offer competitive prices, know their stuff and deliver exceptional customer service, what's not to love.

SolarVolt has been excellent. Clearly explaining everything and helping understand about installing solar and the different options available to me. Nothing was to much trouble. During the installation everything was done professionally and well. The team went the extra mile getting the details right. Was really impressed with the whole process. Once the panels were installed the great service continued. Mark made sure I was all signed up with the best supplier for me. Excellent service. Friendly professional and excellent standard of work. All this at a competitive price. Could not be more impressed.

Mark and his team from Solarvolt updated our existing system earlier this year from just 7 panels by adding a further 6 panels and batteries. This has transformed the system to enable us to store power to almost eliminate the need to draw power from the grid and also to be able to export excess power during the day. A highly professional company, very informed, helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend that you speak to them to get advice for an installation or upgrade.

Solar Volt have been excellent throughout the project from start to finish. We are fully satisfied with their work. After a preliminary visit, they said we could ask as many questions as we wanted…we asked many. All were answered in detail and with explanations and patience. Their project proposal and technical details were more detailed than we had from any other firm. Because of the space provided by our roof, they offered a number of proposals- including a system that would need extra permission from Northern Powergrid. SolarVolt were able to obtain that permission. At all stages of the installation, their team were careful and efficient. As you can see from the two photos, both the external panels (18 of 24 shown) and the internal power equipment have been placed carefully and neatly. The extras to our fuse board are also superb. I have no hesitation in recommending Solar Volt.
