We had really good support from Stephen and the team. Any questions were answers quickly and the whole process was explained clearly. The installation was completed efficiently and the scaffolding removed promptly.

Excellent support from enquiry to installation

Responded promptly to initial enquiry and provided helpful information and advice on the proposed panel and inverter/battery arrangement and installation. They were happy to requote for an alternative inverter/battery location. The installation was carried out efficiently and a change to the proposed cable locations, agreed on the day of installation, provided a much better solution. The installer also solved the problem of not having a wi-fi signal at the location of the inverter/battery.

Couldn't have had a better service

Couldn't have had a better service. It took months of me asking questions, changing what I was trying to achieve, going back to earlier proposals etc., and Steven, the Energy Projects Manager, was always patient & knowledgable. Once I finally made a decision, the installation was done exactly when they said with no disruption. The savings so far (only newly installed) have been far in excess of the figures JEL suggested.

We have been delighted with the service offered by JEL Renewables. From the first enquiry, our communications with Steven Duffy at the office in Southport were friendly, efficient, informed and helpful. The survey of our whole system and the subsequent remedial work was done as planned to a very high standard. The electrician, Andy, worked hard, explained what he was doing and, most importantly, got our system working properly.. after a poor job by the original installers. This is a reputable company who can be trusted to do a good job and we can wholeheartedly recommend them.

JEL installed a Tesla battery. The installer was very neat and meticulous and all went well. Some confusion over the set up of the battery and FIT but JEL were very good at sorting it out and responsive to emails and phone calls. Very happy to recommend them.

After speaking with 5 companies, I opted to go with JEL because of their knowledge, experience and competitive pricing. They didn't let us down. The solar install looks great and we are generating plenty of power. I'd highly recommend them. Update - Still very happy with the set-up after 2 years. Today I received a call from the JEL customer service team as they could see the system wasn't working. I had updated my wifi and not updated it on the system. All back up and working now - great service to contact me!!

Home Solar Panels & System

When choosing a solar installation for our home I was confronted with a number of possible options and very little in the way of a personal recommendation. My choice in selecting JEL Renewals, whilst a leap of faith, transpired to be a good decision. JEL provided an excellent inception to completion process with an exceptional level of communication and customer service from all the team. This spanned early design and advice from Steven, informative and detailed survey (Euan), a highly capable installation team to work seamlessly with our roofer, the meticulously electrical installation works (Andy and Lewis) and the commissioning from Harris and the team. JEL clearly have the depth and professionalism to successfully complete high level solar and renewable energy projects and I would have no hesitation in recommending them for any situation, domestic or commercial.

Who needs Solar power? We all do.

Its been a very long year waiting to get solar installed due to protracted and frustrating building work we are still undergoing. In all that time Andy at JEL Renewables patiently listened to my frustrated tales of woe about various building disasters. The 18 panel, 3 string solar array was fitted without any drama, a welcome relief from the previous year, along with a Tesla Powerwall 3 battery and gateway which is now generating glorious power, significantly more than we can currently use. This means we will be able to contribute in two ways to a cleaner planet, our clean energy use and by exporting green energy to the grid. As the saying goes "Every little bit helps". Thank you JEL Renewables, the Andy's, Lee, Harris, the rest of the Southport team including the panel installers and scaffolders all lovely, efficient, professional people. I recommend you give them a call.

JEL have just fitted solar panels and New outside battery

JEL have just fitted solar panels and the latest battery, which is outside the house. The inventor and battery fit in the same stream line cabinet, which can have additional batteries or EV charger add to it at a later date. But that was not the best thing about JEL. We had a new roof fitted at the same time and they worked with the roofing company to make sure the panels fitted on the new roof. The external battery meant the only time the JEL engineers need to enter the house was to connect the system up to the mains. Excellent job.

Highly recommended

Highly recommended to anybody considering a solar panel system. We knew very little about how it all worked, on initial contact and JEL explained the whole process in great detail to us, answered every question we had (no matter how daft!) and even provided detailed forecasts of electricity that would be generated and potential savings to be made on our bills. The whole survey and installation process was extremely quick from start to finish, it was hassle free, no mess, barely any disruption and everybody involved in each individual process (from scaffolders to electricians etc) were lovely to deal with and extremely helpful - a credit to the company. The electrical aspect of our installation wasn’t quite complete within the day, so in order to get everything up and running asap the electrician Andrew even came out on a Saturday morning (the next day) to finalise it all. Since installation the company have maintained contact, explaining in great deal how everything works, advising us re solar tariffs and answering our further questions re switching with our electricity provider. JEL efficient operation.

JEL have provided first class service in adding to my existing SAJ battery and inverter system (in contrast to the original installers). They communicated well and installation was good and follow up to set up the App. I would recommend them for and solar and battery requirements.

Very accommodating and helpful team, and good system

Andrew (sales) was really helpful and informative from the start and gave a very detailed proposal. My project was problematic, and JEL, Mike (operations) in particular, were really accommodating, working with my builders to get the job done in the best way for everyone. A couple of hiccups - surveyor didn't mention a canopy over the outdoor equipment and the final installation date was confused, so it seemed that extra installers were drafted in to fulfil the commitment These installers didn't arrive in JEL vehicle/uniform, so didn't appear as professional as the original engineers. The package was communicated and presented well, and was easy to understand. Price-wise, it was the most competitive. Finance options were offered also. All in all, I would recommend JEL.

An impeccably thorough survey paved the way for a trouble-free installation. The team were prompt, friendly and efficient, and seemed unfazed by the challenge of a rather quirky property. Recommended.

Well done - you know what you are doing

Andrew the account manager from start to finish was professional in his approach , explained everything that was going to happen and kept me up to date with the whole project. The installation team was efficient and Andrew the electrician was great and put the cables exactly where I wanted them.

Was a bit nervous going for solar panels but this company made the whole process very simple. Their communication is excellent. No sales pressure just useful advice. Everyone on site was helpful and tidied up after themselves. Very happy with my solar panels. Would definitely recommend JEL Renewables Ltd.

It’s been easy and quick from the beginning. We’ve had a bad experience with another company but JEL have done an excellent job installing our solar panels and battery. Both Alex and HJ have been super helpful in advising us and making sure everything runs smoothly. Every single worker did a very clean and professional job and they were incredibly friendly.

Had my solar panels installed last week and the whole experience was fantastic. Very friendly knowledgeable team, Alex always kept me up-to-date and the installation team worked hard and left everything tidy. The lead time was only a few weeks, installation took a day and price was competitive. After an only very slight delay of a few days they came out on the bank holiday and worked hard to make up for it. Very pleased with finding such a friendly, local company and would highly recommend.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Communication was great, on the day, the installation was pain free and they were amazingly supportive when my energy company were being awkward with setting up my SEG; helping sort it all out.
