From the first time I visited Ben at his base in Northwich I felt comfortable I had made the right decision. Evo installed an Anker Solix X1 last Wednesday and but for a slight hiccup with how we could position the future gateway the job went smoothly without hitch. All 3 guys on the job were professional, courtious and good humoured. I would reccomend Ben and his guys all day long. The after care is exceptional.

I had an excellent customer service experience with Evo Renewables. I needed a quote for a new inverter and solar panel meter move. They were happy to come out and do the quote (unlike some of the larger companies). I compared 3 quotes and theirs was the cheapest. Ben did a great job of installing a new inverter with App so I can track what power is being generated. He also moved my solar panel meter for a low cost with no mess. I would highly recommend this business for your renewable energy needs 👍👍

Ben and his team are neat, competent and fully familiar with all matters relating to PV, Home Batteries and EV Charging. Ben took the time to come out and talk to us about options which meant we were able to spec out what we wanted. Then they were booked in to install a month later. Scaffolding went up on the Saturday, installation was on the Monay and Tuesday, and then the scaffolding came down on the following Saturday. So all done within a week. Very neat and tidy job and all the staff have been easy to communicate with and clear. Now enjoying watching our power useage and solar generation on the Sigen app and looking forward to the summer when our useage will drop and our generation will rocket!

Couldn’t have asked for any more!

Every question I had prior to installation was properly addressed so that I knew what to expect during the installation itself. When it came to the installation day, the team arrived promptly and carried out all necessary work with care to ensure that cabling etc. was completed neatly. Once installed, Ben took great care in talking me through how the system and the app worked and has remained available to answer subsequent questions. Couldn’t have asked for any more.

Highly recommend! We had an air-conditioning unit installed to be used year round for heating and cooling. We were given great advice on what unit was best to go for with what we needed, and it was installed really quickly. It has now been in for a few months and we couldn't be happier with the end product!

Ben installed a Bosch 3200i air-conditioning unit for us and It saved us all from some very uncomfortably hot summer days this year. His installation was on time, extremely neat and very competitively priced. The running costs are very low as we have solar panels so obviously the sunnier it is the warmer it becomes but the air-conditioning is active for free. What I wasn’t expecting however was as it’s got colder we have started using it as a heater and is extremely efficient. Hardly using any electricity at all. We use it to keep the kitchen warm over the six hours we have at cheap overnight electricity rates. I would recommend Ben for your air conditioning electrical and solar needs. Always a pleasure to deal with.

Support from start to finish

Very helpful communications during early discussions which continued as we discussed and fine tuned the quotation. Placement of kit (panels, battery, gateway & EV charger) and cable routings all discussed in advance and confirmed on the day installation started. Roof and ground personnel were easy to work with and happy to respond to any questions we had. A tidy job, done tidily.

EVO installed our charger on 7th August, so we've had it for 2 months now. We found it easy to get used to, and have had no faults so far. As we have solar panels, and don't do frequent high mileages, it has enabled us to minimise not only the petrol usage on our Hybrid VW Golf, but also the amount of electricity required from the Grid (the bright skies this summer have of course helped to produce loads of power from the panels !). Altogether we are very happy with the Zappi charger itself and also with the service from Ben F..

Absolutely faultless service from Ben and his team at Evo Renewables with the design and installation of our solar PV and home battery solution. Ben worked through a number of iterations of the solution proposal until we reached the one that best met our specific requirements and budget. He also completed the DNO application for our particular system. Installation took a couple of days and was hassle free, losing power for only about an hour while the system was wired in to our grid supply. Everywhere was left clean and tidy once complete. Handover paperwork, including MCS certificate was issued immediately upon completion of the install. All in all a fantastic project completed by a fantastic local company and we would highly recommend them to anybody considering a solar PV and/or home battery system.

Air conditioning

Ben installed a new Bosch 3200i air conditioning unit into our home a couple of days ago. He is very professional with excellent communication. His work is extremely neat and he always shows great respect for people and property. This is not the first time we have used his services and won’t be the last. Ben and the Evo Team have been faultless throughout the process. Providing updates from beginning to end, elaborating on areas I wanted more information on. Evo arranged for the scaffolding which was factored into their pricing, this was put up the day before install and removed a week later. Day of the install Ben and Matt were happy to assist me with more questions about additional monitoring of my heat pump and ultimately led to n extra being placed onto the fitting. Then install is very tidy and clean. Everyone was courteous, professional and generally nice people. All paperwork, certificates with relevant bodies were issued the day after install with export mpan requested. After reading some people takes weeks etc to get their certificates back , it was a big and nice surprise. Overall top job, would recommend and would happy to have back again.

I was always communicated too when there was any updates in quote, DNO application, scaffolders etc. I was always consulted before any impacting would take place such as turning electricity off or testing the backup side of the PW3. Standard of work is of a high standard and is tidy as the work has been approved by my observant girlfriend who was worried about aesthetics . But the team came through. Would use again and would highly recommend.

Can highly recommend Evo Renewables to anyone looking for a trustworthy and experienced company for a solar installation. I did a lot of research and felt confident enough to know what I wanted out of the system beforehand. I got a few different quotes from various companies that I had narrowed down to who I felt were a possibility. Evo felt right from initial contact and no questions were too much for Ben - both on emails and at the home visit. Absolutely no hard sell whatsoever. It is good that Evo offer various products as part of what they will install so you have options rather than having to stick to one particular product only which some companies do. All communication is very clear and documentation provided is thorough. When it came to the installation, all of the team from the scaffolders, roofers and electricians were excellent with a real high standard of work and very professional. It's obvious that they all take pride in their work. System has been running smoothly over the few days since install and I couldn't be happier with it.
