They were very professional and completed installing 15 panels and a battery within 2 days- despite the scaffolding not turning up till the 2nd day, and despite the terrible weather.

Had a problem with my system not working right, turned out it wasn't their fault (logistics error at a suppliers lead to a European 110v part being installed) Diagnosed the problem in minutes and fixed it for free. very impressed with their service and competency.

We were persuaded to buy a battery for our solar system by their salesman... which has turned out to be a total waste of money. Based on it's initial performance the battery would take 26 years to pay for itself, which is bad enough. However, the manufacturer installed bug-filled software on our system (remotely) in August 2024, which has caused numerous issues, the system started importing energy at night to charge the battery, the battery stopped discharging below 30% and after a "temporary" fix in November 2024 the system now uses 25% of the battery capacity simply to run... which Enphase say is normal. The customer support initially simply passed on our emails to the manufacturer and were not interested in providing updates... because the manufacturer has NO interest in them as a small insignificant player. They closed out our "Fault No." on their system without telling us and 18 months since the problem was created by the updated software they have said there is nothing more they will do... so not just a waste of money but a waste of time too. There are many other better companies you can choose in this industry. ----------------------- The Ecopartners response is misleading, I have explained to them why their assertion on improved reporting is nonsense, as levels imported from the grid have increased (x20), but as they don't understand the problem, they have embarrassingly stood by a flawed explanation. maybe that's a lack of moral fibre. 10,000 customers and only 8 positive reviews !!! lol.

I was told that they would normally replace the battery in this situation…. But have refused to do so.

Eco Partners gave me very clear information about my solar sytem and what was needed to replace the Envoy. There was no pressure to proceed, just clarity of what was involved including the cost. An engineer arrived at the agreed time. He was outstandingly pleasant, informative and considerate. He made sure everything was as I wanted it and that it fulfilled my expectations and needs. My very high expectations were exceeded. The team; Were always on time (even in the snow and ice!) Helped me understand in simple terms what they are doing. Got on with it! Were always proud about their work. Cared for my home. Were very approachable, even to my rescue dogs (one of whom is a psychopath!) I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Had Mitsubishi air to air heating/aircon fitted by eco partners the installation was first class the guys were very professional and did a excellent job i would highly recommend them for your heating/air conditioning needs

After discussing our requirements we opted for a fox 10kw battery which was delivered and fitted efficiently. Initial reporting issues were quickly rectified and system now running well. Communication by phone and email has always been efficient and friendly. A great company to do business with.

Eco Partners communicated really well throughout the quote and installation process. We were surprised at just how minimal the disruption was, the team respected our space and left no mess anywhere. Eco Partners are responsive and helpful, have an amazing 'can-do' attitude, and the whole process was super easy. Would use again and highly recommend.

I had decided to install a Power Wall and contracted Eco partners to ask their advice and for the options open to me. The person I dealt with was very knowledgeable and quickly sent information, recommendations and costs which I had struggled to get other companies to provide. Having made the decision to proceed Eco did the planning and paper work and agreed an installation day which they met. The engineers went out of their way to explain what they were doing and ensured we were happy with the installation as it progressed. I would recommend Eco Partners as the first stop to anyone looking to install green energy products.

Perfect Installation, All installed on the Planned day, Installation guys very Friendly and Helpful. Now have a GivEnergy 9.5kw Battery and 12 solar Panels all working the day of installation and running our house electricity demand. Would not hesitate to recommend this company.

The guys have just replaced all the roof felt under my solar panels and did a great job. Friendly and efficient, their work ethic is second to none. If you have solar and need a repair you can't do better this this company.

Work OK but disrespectful

We had aircon fitted which I wasn't present for while the work was done. At first all seemed to be fairly tidy inside the house apart from the hole I'll need to fill next to one of the units. More annoyed at the lack of respect from the workmen, whilst I expected mess outside, where they actually managed to use a bin instead of the obvious black waste bin which contained bagged waste and a plastic bin liner they chose the obvious green waste bin situated next to it not just to throw packaging but whatever white gunk which I am still trying to scrub off the sides. Not the first time this company caused me an issue but it will be the last.

Happy Customers Since 2012

We have been customers of Eco-Partners since 2012, during that time they have monitored and maintained our array. Occasionally they have highlighted an issue and rectified it promptly under the maintenance agreement. This summer we decided to extend the array onto our flat roof extension. Eco-Partners were the obvious choice. The installation was undertaken promptly, efficiently and tidily. Eco-Partners are easy to contact by email and telephone, and if necessary return calls and emails promptly. We are very happy with the service and support we receive from Eco-Partners and look forward to many more years as their customers

Comments on Eco Partners I have a 16-panel solar system. Each panel is fitted with micro inverters so that I can see the power generated by each. This was installed in June 2013. The then installer has now gone out of business. Over recent months the information available from each microinverter has not always displayed correctly and has become a problem. I contacted Eco Partners who asked about my system. They said that the problem was probably that I had an Enphase Envoy R Gateway fitted and that this was now obsolete. This would be best replaced by an Envoy S and that this should fix the problem. The Gateway processes information from the solar panels and feeds it into the Wi-Fi network in the house. This then goes to Enphase and I can see the results from the panels on their Enlighten App. The Envoy S would be updated from time to time as necessary. This is not possible with the outdated Envoy R. An Envoy S was successfully installed by Armani from Eco Partners at the beginning of August 2025 and my solar system is now working perfectly. The engineer from Eco Partners that came to install the Envoy S was most impressive. He was very personable and carried out the installation efficiently. He answered all the questions I asked of him and it was a pleasure to have him in the house. I am now paying a monthly maintenance fee for the whole system to Eco Partners. This will cover any further problems with the solar system in the coming years.

I recently had a FoxESS battery system installed to work alongside my existing solar setup, and I’m really happy with how everything went. The installer was super friendly and treated my property with a lot of respect, which I really appreciated. There was a small issue with one part being incorrect on the van, but they sorted it quickly by getting the right part shipped overnight. Everything was prepped in advance, so the final bit of the installation the next day only took a few minutes. Eco Partners already look after my solar system, so it felt like the logical choice to go with them for the battery too. Bobby and the team in the office were great to deal with — always helpful and responsive. I had already done most of my own calculations, so I mainly just needed some technical info, but they were on hand to support however needed. I’m sure they’d be great for anyone who needs help figuring out the right system size too. Overall, a really smooth experience and a company I’d happily recommend to anyone thinking about solar or battery storage.

Eco Partners have recently installed an air source heat pump in our house. In all our dealings with Julian,Bobby , Sam and other people who have helped, they have been extremely honest, reliable organised and trustworthy. They have spent time and shown patience in answering our questions, as well as being a friendly and helpful presence in our home, which they have left tidy every day. Importantly, they have done a very professional and extremely competent job and worked very hard to complete it, as well as dealing efficiently with any problems that cropped up during installation, so that the heat pump is working well. We would heartily recommend them as a Company to anyone requiring this kind of work.

Have had Eco Partners upgrading my battery storage system and replacing a micro inverter. Dealing with Julian and Bobby was a very pleasant experience and every part of then process was handled quickly and efficiently. Even though we live in North Northumberland there was never an issue with arranging a time to suit with regard to the installation because of our work commitments and the team who came to do the job were friendly, tidy and happy to answer any questions. This is my first experience with Eco Partners but have no problems with recommending them for there service and efficiency of work carried out.

Reroof, solar and battery.

We have just had our reroof, solar and battery completed by the guys from Eco Partners and we are absolutely delighted. The work was done to our requirements and included installing TLX Gold insulation, in roof panels to 3 elevations, replacing the guttering, soffits and facias, installing a battery with 3 MPPTS and EPS. The standard of workmanship is excellent and the whole job was carried out with care and consideration. All in all.i would highly recommend Eco Partners.

Excellent work ethic and service

Incredible team at Eco Partners installed Jinko Tiger Neo 54c 415W N-Type solar panels and batteries across 5 buildings on site at Northcliffe Environmental Enterprises Team (NEET) in Shipley. The team were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and respectful of our team members at NEET including them in some of the work which was positive. They also provided after care support and help with understanding the Enphase app so we can already see how we will be saving money and are less reliant on the national grid. I would recommend the company without reservation.

Great company

Had a battery and inverter installed and the experience was great from quotation to installation and follow up. Post the installation I had a problem with my car charger Eco Partners reacted professionally and were the ones who came up with a solution. Never had a problem getting hold of them and they responded quickly every time. First class.

Great experience with this company

Recently had a system installed and so far I’m extremely happy. I spent quite sometime choosing whom I’d like to supply and fit my PV and battery setup, and eventually went with Ecopartners. All emails and questions that I sent were answered promptly and professionally. On the morning of installation the team arrived on time, and efficiently went ahead with installation. By late afternoon my system was up and running. Any subsequent questions that I’ve had since installation either by phone or email have been answered almost immediately. I will definitely use Ecopartners again!

I am very pleased indeed with the installation of the Mitsubishi Ecodan heat pump carried out by ECO Partners this week at my house. The installation and workmanship were exemplary, and I cannot praise too highly the way in which Julian and his team carried out this work. It was actually a pleasure to have them on site for three days. I would go as far as to say the pipework of the hot water cylinder is a work of art! The system appears to work much better than the old gas boiler system, with the rads pumping out plenty of heat and loads of very hot water. In short, one very satisfied customer !

Zero energy cost

Just over 12 months ago Eco Partners fitted my system, it is a 5kw Gen3 inverter, 16.4kwh of batteries and 7.8kw of panels east/west. I've been leaving the review for 12 months to see how it went on. I've also got a heat pump and ditched the gas 2 years ago (not by Eco Partners) and very please how everything has worked out with all the systems together. I've worked out the total cost of our energy bill for 2023 and we are actually £67 in profit. This is due to the charging and discharging on octopus flux in summer and using octopus go in winter, this makes a saving of almost £3k of energy which now gives me a payback time of 7 years for everything. They also replaced my whole roof while they was installing the panels which was a bonus so no need to touch it again in my lifetime. Would I recommend them? Without a doubt and I wish I'd have known them when I was having my heat pump done as they would have been my first choice as well.

After an extensive research into solar energy options, I received three different quotes. During this process, I had several discussions with Bobby Chand, a director at Eco Partners. Although their pricing was not the lowest among the options, I felt I was getting value for what is a considerable investment. I went for 2x12 Panels arrays with Enphase micro inverters with a Tesla Powerwall, the Eco Partners team arrived and over the next 2 days completed the installation smoothly. Even when faced with on-site adjustments, the team, Jake, Isaac, Andy, and Tom, led by Julian dealt with these in their stride. The finished installation is excellent, and I am pleased with my choice of equipment and supplier/installer I have no hesitation in recommending Eco Partners, their professionalism, attitude and focus is terrific and their installation team are outstanding.. Efficient Solar PV Installation with Same-Day Commissioning and Friendly Team

I recently had the pleasure of getting solar panels installed on my roof by this (local to me) company. Not only was the installation process efficient, but the system was also commissioned on the same day, accompanied by a quick tour of the hardware and account setup for the GivEnergy portal. The team's was very friendly and professional what made the entire experience enjoyable. Their punctuality and attention to detail were impressive this installation had really smooth workflow. Throughout the installation, the team's expertise was evident as they installed the nine panels. the team filled me with confidence and trust in their work. What stood out was the same-day commissioning of the system. The team efficiently completed the necessary setup, providing a quick tour of the hardware and guiding me through the account setup process for the GivEnergy portal - so I can monitor and manage my solar energy production. The GivEnergy 3.6kw inverter 2nd gen and 9.5kWh went through the calibration overnight and I was up and running on following morning. In conclusion, the solar PV installation performed by this company was exemplary. The team's efficiency, same-day commissioning, and their friendly approach made the entire process effortless and enjoyable. Serious about Solar and Batteries? EcoPartners are a good choice.

EcoPartners installed a GivEnergy Solar and battery system in for me last year. The sales consultation lead up and final installation was all completed very professionally. When I had a problem earlier this year with one of the key components under warranty, the boss stepped in personally and got things moving. Longer, sunnier days are fast approaching and with help from Octopus Flux I’m now hopefully going to be reaping the benefits and actually profiting from this system. I’ll be ordering more from EcoPartners when I can afford it.

Had extra solar panels and battery…

Had extra solar panels and battery system fitted, and it’s all been excellent. Enphase specialist that seem to know their stuff and knew the best Giv Energy battery system for me,

I have now had my GivEnergy solar and battery system running for close on two months and I feel in a position to give a fair assessment of the experience. Overall I am happy with my choice of both Eco Partners who installed the system and GivEnergy. I should also give special mention to Carl who did the electrical work. He produced a very tidy and professional installation using good quality components and I am well pleased. Eco Partners informed me before the start of some software issues using two inverters together and this proved to be the case. I wrongly assumed the inverters worked in parallel, but on examination it appears each inverter works in isolation resulting in some mis-balancing of the batteries. One battery discharging before the other means I have to micro manage the system via the portal which is not ideal. However, this is not a serious issue and Eco Partners have assured me that GivEnergy are working hard to resolve this. The biggest benefit to-date has been the dual 9.5kWh GivEnergy batteries. I am currently on the Octopus Go split tariff allowing me to charge the batteries overnight at a cheaper rate. This means even in the UK winter without much solar input I have enough energy to run the house for a full day without drawing further power from the grid. I can see already that during summer I will be energy positive with big savings! Altogether a big thumbs up!
