We've accidentally drilled into an electric cable, and called D Holt to ask if they could fix it urgently. Despite it being the evening, one of their electricians, Matt, arrived the following morning and resolved the issue within an hour. We highly recommend their service: friendly, good communication, professional and efficient.

I've used Dan for various jobs over the last 4 years. The jobs have ranged in size from installing a new fuse board to replacing a switch. Dan is always responsive by phone and email. He communicates well and arrives when he says he will. Work quality has always been spot on. Dan always describes the cause of any issues and explains the solution or options for the solution while completing the work. For some of the larger jobs Dan has had a colleague assisting from D.Holt Ltd who is also friendly, professional and shares Dans values. I called D. Holt with a non-urgent issue regarding a circuit breaker frequently being tripped. An appointment time was agreed upon and the technician, Matt, arrived as expected. I found the service to be very professional and efficient. A full diagnostic of my wiring was carried out, problem located, and suggestions for options explained. There was no attempt to suggest any work that was not immediately required. I myself asked about possible upgrades and a very reasonable quote was forthcoming. I selected D. Holt because of positive online reviews and I fully concur. I was happy to do business, I am very glad I now know of a local electrician I can fully trust, and I am indeed planning to have them in to do further work fairly soon.

What a Star! We lost power late Sunday evening and I was unable to reset the trip switch. (I know nothing about electrics!) Early Monday morning, armed with a list of electricians and very little phone battery, I began by ringing D Holt Electrical. As anticipated, he was fully booked and I prepared to ring the next on my list. However, rather than hang up, he spent time talking with me, assessing the situation and making a couple of suggestions. I followed his advice and was able to successfully reset the trip switch. We had a bit of a DIY mishap which resulted in a complete loss of power. Dan was brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful - he and his colleague visited on Friday morning and stayed for a couple of hours trying to isolate the fault, then returned on Tuesday with another colleague to repair it. We only bought our home quite recently and don't really know what we're doing, and Dan has been absolutely brilliant throughout - clear, punctual, always willing to explain to us what the problem was and what he was doing, and very reasonably-priced, and he'll be back next month to replace the fuseboard. We were very impressed!

Dan responded very quickly and understood exactly what we needed. A new consumer unit with RCD, connection of underfloor heating to a new circuit and connection of electric towel rail. We were also offered a pre-Christmas cancellation slot, which was perfect as we could finally enjoy a warm bathroom. Paul carried out the work efficiently and neatly. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys

I am very happy with the work Dan carried out for me. He was on time for multiple appointments, undertook neat and efficient work, was reasonably priced and courteous at all times - even with my incessant questioning!
