Steve installed our system in 2014 & our inverter failed after 12 years use. (That’s good for an inverter) He responded promptly to fit a new inverter at a competitive price within a week so fantastic service from him & his company. Highly recommended.

HR Solar installed FOX ESS Solar PV 6kw Hybrid Inverter and 16 x JA Solar Bi Facial High Efficiency Solar Panels (7.2kWp) with EP5 "Heated" x 2 EP6 Battery Packs (10.36 kWh). It was installed on 10th October 2025 and has been working seamlessly. The process from beginning to commissioning was smooth. All necessary documents e.g G99 registration, MCS certificate, Napit reg., building control, etc. Thanks, Steve, and I will recommend HR Solar.

Steve and his team installed my solar PV system in 2013. Until I retired I was in project management and I saw that HR Solar solutions were one of the best organised contractors I had ever used and they only used the best quality materials. The finished installation was very professional and worked extremely well. I recently had a glitch with my inverter, the only problem in over 12 years, and after a quick phone call to Steve he popped round and resolved the issue. HR Solar are without doubt one of the best companies I have ever used. I would give 6 stars if it was possible.

Steve and the team from HR Solar Solutions Ltd installed my Solar Edge system in 2012. The whole job was project managed by Steve and I remember at the time the very high standard and quality of the installation process, including Steve setting up my FIT account with my energy supplier. Over the past 14 years my system has operated without fault. Steve has occasionally contacted me over the years, usually if a comms issue appeared between my system and Solar Edge. This was usually an issue with my internet provider, but it was good to know that Steve was still flagging up any potential issues after such a long time period. Recently I had another comms issue and a failed generation meter. Once again Steve called me and guided me through the rectification process. My local electrician, who replaced the generation meter, commented on the high quality of the electrical installation. I don't think I need to recommend HR Solar Solutions to anyone as the above review speaks volumes to an ongoing service second to none. Thank you Steve and the team at HR Solar Solutions, its very rare these days to come across such a professional company.

After having had some ridiculous quotes, and scary information about my Fronious Inverter, i managed to find Steve, of HR Solar Solutions, while searching someone on the internet i came across Steve,s reviews. I can honestly say ge sorted my problem within 15 - 20 minutrs once he had a full run down of the problem. When I convert to batteries, I shall contact Steve again.

My Solis inverter, which had been installed by another now defunct company 6 years ago, recently stopped working. Steve from HR Solar Solutions visited promptly to diagnose the problem, and then obtained and fitted a replacement. The dongle connected to the old inverter turned out not to work with the new inverter, so Steve sourced a new dongle. Despite unforeseen problems in installing it, he nevertheless stayed to make sure that it was working properly, including liaising with Solis technical support. A thoroughly committed and conscientious attitude to the job!

Steve and his team did a brilliant job in helping us decide which solar system best suited us and then followed up with its seamless installation and commissioning. We are so very pleased with the way the instrumentation is now working that, given their very competitive pricing and friendly approach, we have no hesitation in highly recommending HR Solar Solutions Ltd to anyone considering a solar panel and battery storage system. I recently had a problem with the batteries when they stopped charging due to a mistake on my behalf. However, a quick phone call to Steve and by early the next day the system was back up and running again thanks to his expertise. Steve replied quickly to my message, took all the details needed to work out exactly what was the problem with our solar PV system and how to solve it. Steve explained really nicely in detail what was up, then sorted the issue out really promptly and for a good price. Very tidy work, friendly - will definitely recommend HR Solar.

At every step of the way Steve, from HR Solar Solutions, explained everything very clearly to us so that we understood what would be happening and when. Regular updates were provided and the mess was kept to a minimum. Having an installation during the winter months presents additional challenges because very little is being generated by the installed panels which means that the software finds it harder to settle into a pattern of operation between consumption by the house, charging and discharging the battery and taking power from the grid or giving it back to the grid. Throughout these challenges Steve stayed on the case and I am happy to say that we have a really good system which is already saving us significant amounts on our Electricity bills. We would therefore have no hesitation in recommending HR Solar Solutions to those considering whether to install Solar Panels or not.

My 14 year old inverter failed. I phoned Steve who installed the system. He quickly identified that we needed a new inverter sourced the replacement and came to install it on Saturday afternoon. All up and running. First class service at a reasonable price. Will continue to use HR Solar Solutions.

Steve quickly answered our call for help when our inverter stopped working. The new inverter was sent direct to Steve, he contacted us with a date for swapping them over, installed the new one in a couple of hours, checked everything was working (it was) and we were up and running again. We started looking for a Solar panel installer 2 years ago and had several quotes, Steve from HR Solar impressed us with his knowledge of the products and his enthusiasm. Despite equipment delays due to supply issues following Covid Steve kept us informed throughout and did not revise the original quote. The panels and inverter were fitted professionally and quickly once the equipment was delivered. Steve was always available by phone if we had any questions, he helped with the app and getting details and paperwork right to allow us to export to the grid. We have had the panels for over year now with no issues and the output has been as predicted by Steve despite being South West facing with some tree shading. HR Solar is also a local company which is important to us and we have no hesitation in recommending them, could not ask for more.

HR Solutions were able to conduct a survey promptly and took the time to listen carefully to our requirements and recommend a suitable system that would meet our needs. Due to market conditions, the time between HR Solar's quote and the start of installation was quite protracted but we were impressed that they were able to honour the original quote and indeed were able to improve the equipment specification slightly as well. Our location is inundated with feral pigeons and the company made great efforts to install a suitable barrier system which has proven to be highly successful. The Company's personnel were highly professional in all areas, being clean and tidy as well as keeping us informed of progress. We have been very pleased and impressed with Steve's post installation care: helping to obtain all the required certification in timely manner and his continued remote monitoring of our system. We were very happy with the work that HR Solar Solutions carried out at our home. Our south facing roof was ideal for solar panels and after speaking to Steve, whose knowledge was second to none, he gave us the confidence to go ahead with solar panels and a storage battery. From accepting the quote to completion there were some supply issues but Steve kept us up to date with developments and kept to the price quoted. A big thank you to Steve and the team at HR solar solutions. We had our system fitted in March 2023 at peak demand for new systems and with limited supplies. This meant the installation was delayed however Steve was great, always at the end of the phone if needed and honoured the original quote despite the general rise in prices. We had a 5kw system fitted with 10kwh battery based on Steve's recommendation. It was so refreshing to be quoted by someone that want it to hard sell extras but listened to it needs and made genuine recommendations. Once the work was started it was completed with a high level of workmanship and by a friendly team. The only issues we had were getting the various network system to talk to our router. Again Steve did his best to help troubleshoot. Steve was recommended to me by a work colleague and we have passed his name on to our neighbours for them to get worse. Overall a really good experience.

We really cant fault HR Solar Solutions. We first met Steve after he did an installation at my Mother-in-laws and we were so impressed with how the panels looked we asked him to quote for us. We were interested in solar panels and a storage battery and our quote was so competitive we agreed to the installation. Before the panels and battery arrived Every step of the installation was explained and our questions were answered in great detail. Steve and his team were meticulous with the installation, everything was kept spotless and the lads were so polite. After the installation, Steve explained how everything would work, helped me to install the Give-Energy software onto my computer and explained how to set the battery to charge during our economy 7 tariff hours if we need to. Solar panels were already installed by HR Solar Solutions when I bought my house, but I had no idea what I needed to do as regards transfer of ownership, service needs etc. I found Steve's number on all the paperwork and gave him a call. He came out to the house and serviced all the equipment, helped me sort ownership out and explained exactly how the solar panels work and the benefit I receive from them. One of the panels was not working and he swiftly sorted this out too, replacing the part needed at what I feel was a very fair price.
