Storm is organised and very knowledgeable. His team are polite and hardworking and each and every install is met with the same dedication. Help with a pre installed system

Having a GivEnergy system already installed (not by Glo) and experiencing some issues, I turned to the original installer, sadly they no longer exist. So with some googling, I turned to Storm and the Glo Renewables team. Luckily they were willing to help and get the system back up and running. It was a pretty painless experience but it made me realise that these systems require the support of a proper company who will be able to assist in the years to come and not just there for the installation and then gone tomorrow. Glo were honest and up front with the costs and didn’t try to up sell or offer a ‘new’ system when it wasn’t needed. All in all a great experience.

The team was always available at the end of the phone to answer any questions, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The workmanship was top-notch, and the entire installation process was smooth and completed quickly. We were especially impressed by how efficiently everything was handled—no delays, no hassles. Within less than a month, we noticed a significant difference in our electricity usage. It’s amazing to see such immediate results! A superb company that we only came across about 12 months ago. Over many years in business I can honestly say we haven't come across another company that functions on the level of Glo . Glo Renewables offered a great service from start to finish. They helped with the design of the system, carefully listening to my requirements, then dovetailing their work with my roofer's needs to ensure a seamless 'fit' (including accommodating late changes at my request without complaint). Just need some sunny weather now so that I can harvest the maximal benefit! Thoroughly recommend!

Helped with the design and then worked well with my roofer for a seamless fit. Accommodated late design changes at my request. Polite, neat and tidy workers. Great rewire services

Glo rewired our 1930's house before we moved in. They were great through the process, were flexible and were happy to make a few changes through the install and completed on time allowing us to move in as planned which we appreciated very much

Can’t recommend these guys enough! I was blown away by the enthusiasm that Storm put into answering all my questions and figuring out a spec that fitted my own requirements. He was super happy to go through various quotes to help me check the estimated ROI on different options and also talk me through the technical features & pro/cos of each. Right from the start I felt that I was dealing with people who genuinely care about doing a quality job just because that’s how it should be done! When it came to the installation, all the guys were super-professional, and everything was very neat and tidy. I liked that they often checked in with me with options for how cables could be run, and although in a couple of cases the nicest looking option wasn’t easy, they were only too happy to figure out a way to make sure the end result looked great. The doc handover (wiring diagrams, MCS, G99 etc.) was very professional and Storm followed up to get my MPan Export number surprisingly quickly. He was also really proactive in explaining the system and following up after to make sure everything was working okay. Since then, no question has ever been too much trouble, even many months later. For my system I went with a Fox ESS battery & inverter, with panels on both the North and South sides, which so far, with 9 months usage and export, has matched expectations and so far, turned out to be a really good decision. I had a great experience with Glo Renewables Storm and the team explained system clearly, and the quote matched everything. Installation was completed on schedule, the crew kept the site clean and they followed up after inspection to verify everything was working. Solid workmanship, fair price, and responsive support.

Unusually reliable service for this…

Unusually reliable service for this sector. Engaged and helpful in resoplving our isuues. We found Glo Renewables knowlegeable but also open to our requirements/suggestions. A service tailored to our needs.

I had a 10kWh MyEnergi Libbi battery with powercut backup installed in my garage by Glo Renewables in July 2025 and I cannot recommend them more. From initial query to installation they were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I was very happy with the installation, it took about a day but didn't feel rushed, the install team answered all of my questions, everything was left clean and tidy and they very considerately worked around the fact I work from home. Charlie even fixed an issue I had relating to the install of a Zappi and Eddi by a different company a couple of years ago. The system has been running really well the last few months, its great being able to use all of my locally generated solar energy and to take advantage of Octopus free electricity and saving sessions, I couldn't be happier.

Very positive experience

Very positive experience. Friendly professional company. No question is 'too stupid'. Very willing to help whenever possible. They installed my battery in Nov 24 and were helpful on where to put it, and made sure all wiring was neat and tidy. In Sept 2025 after changing service provider, they came out and connected me after I had had problems trying myself.

Reliable and Excellent service

I approached three companies for quotes for a solar installation and battery system. GloRenewables were the only company that listened to my requirements and came up with three different plans that would suit my needs. They explained each plan and it's merits and shortfalls in terms that I could understand. The installation went smoothly and afterwards they also advised on which tariffs were best suited. They explained the system workings and how to use the App and Website to control the system. When the battery developed a fault they were straight on the case and it was replaced quickly. I have had the system for a year now and I am completely satisfied with it. Especially knowing that if anything goes wrong or I need advice I can just call GloRenewables and they will respond quickly.

Very pleased with the Glo team's approach to our solar installation which combined photovoltaic panels and battery storage. They provided the most cost effective proposal, remained enthusiastic, positive and energetic throughout the process, and did what they said they would, when they said they would. The system works well. The only slight disappointment is the Tesla software. It is very informative but doesn't allow easy maximisation of UK Tariffs eg overnight battery charging.

Glo did an excellent job for my solar & battery system installation. Excellent communication from Storm & Charlie throughout the project, any issues or questions I raised were quickly dealt with. The guys onsite were a professional & friendly installation team, everything is neat and well finished. My solar system is performing beyond my expectations for solar generation at this point with the sunny autumn weather I am very pleased.

Cannot recommend Glo Renewables too much, this is a glowing report because their service was first class, they were and still are helpful, friendly and efficient. Although extremely busy, they are prompt and always find time to help with any queries. You wont find a more reasonably priced, efficient and better company. Thank you guys, especially for treating an elderly widow as though she was a knowledgable customer without taking advantage of a lone woman, which so many in the building trade do! I can’t recommend Glo Renewables highly enough. I had already received quotes from other companies but Glo Renewables beat them all hands down and their service is second to none. I’m so grateful the company was recommended to me by my friends. The solar panels and battery installation is excellent and the team went above and beyond the call of duty and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were exceptionally careful in my home, very tidy work and cleared up after themselves, all to a very high standard, and were so hard-working, very professional and so polite - a real credit to the company. 15 kW Solar Panel Installation - February 2025 We invited three companies to quote for our solar installation. From the very outset Storm & Charlie from ‘Glo Renewables’ stood out heads above the other companies, and we say this with experience. The honest and detailed approach from the initial on site consultation gave us enough confidence to know that Glo Renewables were going to be the right company for us to award the contract to. What is so special about Glo? Storm, the director of Glo, insisted on an initial on site visit. He took time to consider the best approach for the placement of solar panels and the equipment inside. Not just to make it easy for them to install, but for us, as the end user and owner. He also calculated that we had enough space on our roof for many more panels than the other companies had said was possible. This came as quite a pleasant shock. Consideration was also taken for the least amount of drilling and fixing on the outside of the building. Something that no other company had discussed or consulted us on. This meant that there were less holes in our beautiful new workshop, roof and walls. Something we were also very grateful for. The installation team went about their business professionally and always kept us abreast of any small details relevant to how inverters were positioned or cables placed. Storm and Charlie were always in contact asking us if we were happy with everything during the installation. They have continued to be in contact many weeks after the system was commissioned. A true sign of how committed ‘Glo’ is to providing not only a good product but also a stand out ‘customer service’. Well done to all the team at Glo Renewables. If you're wondering who the best local solar panel supplier in the South West is, 10000000% you need to go with GloRenewables. Storm went above and beyond to help me find the best system for my house. From start to finish the experience with Storm was very encouraging, clear and transparent. He took the time to (patiently) explain my options, and made several iterations before we found "the one". This is especially reassuring when what you're making a big investment into something quite complex, where the technical language can also be overwhelming to the lay person. Dan and the boys who came to fit the system were also brilliant. Respectful, polite, resourceful, flexible and efficient! I had to have some unexpected repairs made to my chimney mid-installation, and the Glo boys were kind enough to accommodate this change of events for me, which I hugely appreciated. The system has been up and running for about a week now. I'm loving the money I've already saved on my energy bills, and the future potential for export in terms of a speedy ROI! Glo Renewables installed a solar system at our pub, along with two 22KW car chargers. Their service was fast, efficient, and their expertise in the field was exceptional, especially since our system had to integrate with an already high-consumption outlet. Before choosing Glo, I received several quotes, but none of the other companies could provide clear answers on two key points: Whether the system would work for us. Whether our existing system would be affected. After just 30 minutes with Storm and Charlie, I had clear answers to both questions. I also appreciated their honesty about which areas of our roof wouldn’t be efficient enough to cover, which saved us from spending on areas that wouldn't offer good returns. Our system was installed in late September, which meant it had to perform in less-than-ideal conditions for energy collection. Nevertheless, as of today, we've saved just under £1,400 on our energy bill and are on track to pay off the system in under 3 years. I’ve already requested a quote from Glo to install more solar panels at my private residence, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.
