From start to finish the team at Nimbus have been excellent. Dan and the team worked closely with us to configure the best solar solution for our property and needs. When on site they turned up when they said they would, worked hard, were tidy and cleared up at the end of each day. The whole team were professional, knowledgeable and respectful throughout. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I am chair of the Rising Sun Community Pub in Woodcroft. Nimbus solar won our bid to provide some grant funded solar panels. Their service was superb from start to finish. The quote was professional and realistic, assessing our needs with a great deal of thought. Dan and the team were friendly and professional, kept us informed during the installation, were reliable and efficient and minimised disruption to our business during this and gave a comprehensive handover once the panels were commissioned. The panels look amazing, work brilliantly and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to put solar panels on their residence or commercial business. We were introduced to Nimbus Solar through the Big Solar Co-operative, which has been an incredibly valuable scheme enabling Solar to be accessible for business like ourselves. We have been very impressed with the efficiency and seamlessness of the installation. The Nimbus team were extremely thorough, and worked around our businesses needs during the installation - which isn't always easy in hospitality. They communicated on a regular basis throughout the process and did a full handover of the set up at the end of the project. We would highly recommend them for their professionalism, and alignment with our sustainability goals.

Nimbus were brilliant from first design call all the way through to installation and sign off. We had a large domestic solar and battery install and the price came in competitively against both national and independent suppliers with the added benefit of them coming out and designing something that was bespoke to our current and future needs. The installation itself took 2.5 days and the team were considerate, tidy and helpful and the system is now up and running and we are 85% self sufficient for electricity and exporting to the grid! Would highly recommend.

First class work by Dan and his team. I was very impressed by Dan's knowledge and professionalism on his initial site visit, and his flexibility presenting a range of different systems to suit our needs. The installation itself took a little longer than expected due to complexities with our setup, overrunning to a third day, but Ed and Leaf did a fine job finishing up, and the end result looks great! Thoroughly recommended.

Dan, Ed and their team installed a 20kw solar array on my business premises in central Bristol this summer. I was really impressed with how professional, thorough and organised they were at every step of the design and install. All work was completed to a great standard to a tight deadline at a very competitive price. Absolutely brilliant company. Dan, Ed and Stacey (plus others who's names I didn't know) couldn't have been more helpful. The installation went smoothly, communication was very good and I couldn't be happier with the final job. Thoroughly recommend them.

Don’t go anywhere else! Solar is a big investment and we wanted to be absolutely sure that Nimbus were right for us - after being badly let down by another supplier who blamed Brexit by the delays of almost 12 months. What was installed went beyond our expectations as was the pre / during and post service from Dan and his team. For starters, obvious as it sounds, Dan insisted on a site visit to see how exactly what we wanted would fit and operate. The siting and specifications were changed (different alignment, less panels and more batteries). Honesty was apparent as difficult bad news ( we needed to level the land - only 75 tonnes had to be moved!) was delivered in a professional manner. The system and its operation was explained in detail but in a non jargonistic way. We had an illustration on savings / return on investment also. Additionally we have an informative app on my. Thank you Dan ! So we went from cancelling our previous supplier, planning to adjust priorities to new windows to being convinced we should proceed. Installation was then delayed by me having to adjust planning (outside out residential curtilage) and Dan was able to adjust the programme. We were kept fully informed about timeframes and the project was completed in 3 days. Neat tidy and professional We then switched to Octopus energy also which meant the projected export to the grid we now get paid for. (Not great switching tbh but nothing to do with Dan) All very well we thought but proof of the pudding in the performance of the system. That has been great. We have being receiving a net income from our solar panels during the summer months and it’s been reassuring that Dan has been keeping an eye on that via the app statistics. We will now assess over 12 months and decide if we add additional batteries.

Throughout the course of discussing options, quoting for the work, fitting our solar system and in after care Dan and the team at Nimbus have proved to be very professional , courteous and quick to answer questions. We have been very impressed and watch the energy being produced with interest via the App!

Good job from start to finish. The process of specifying the eventual installation took a while as I overthought everything but Dan Doran listened patiently and provided any additional information on the individual items to help the process along. His patience paid off as all the bits came together to give a great solution in terms of technology and appearance. The installation went well, having to overcome an awkward site for scaffolding. All of the people involved in the installation of the solar panels worked hard through particularly high temperatures to complete the work on time. Everything was left clean and ready to go. Ed Plant connected everything up and carefully explained how it all worked before leaving the site. I wanted something that worked efficiently without me having to constantly check how the system managed itself and I think that has been achieved. Now looking forward to a major reduction in home energy costs. Thanks to all at Nimbus Solar, good job guys.

Great installation by Nimbus Solar, Dan Doran was very professional and provided a great service throughout. He provided a very clear plan of the installation following a thorough site survey. He took account of our requirements with an East-West roof, our annual energy usage and two EVs. Stacey looked after the contract side, everything was fully explained. The scaffolding company did a great job and the installation went very smoothly, the team were well organised and kept the site tidy. All the follow up documentation arrived in a timely manner, Dan took care of the G99 approval. A great company and I definitely would recommend them.

Next day response to my original enquiry followed by site visit within a couple of days. Straightforward site visit with full and excellent explanation of what could be achieved after listening to our expectations. This was followed by a highly detailed and very professional quotation confirming what we had discussed. Job commenced only slightly later than promised largely due to the great British climate. Professional installation carried out with no fuss and everything left clean and tidy along with detailed explanation of system. Cannot fault these people in any way. Would not hesitate in recommending. Thanks to all at Nimbus and good luck continuing to grow your business.

Dan has been a trusted electrician for me for over 8 years. He sorted me out with my solar install then and helped me with a solar iboost installation soon after. When it came to getting a battery installation I naturally went straight back to him. Honest , reliable and goes above and beyond. He also got me a battery when demand was at its peak! 2 months in we're very happy with our new solar panels. From quote to installation the process took less than a month, and installation was done in a day. Work appears to have been carried out to a high standard, internally and externally. The price was very good, and any queries we had were dealt with quickly and efficiently. We'd have no hesitation recommending Nimbus Solar (and in fact already have).
