I highly recommend Ecocetera

Ecocetera have been brilliant throughout. They have explained everything clearly from the planning stage through to installation and getting started. Installation of 16 solar panels and an accompanying battery took just two days and after I was guided through the software so as to make the most of the import/export from battery and solar panel system to the national grid. I am confident I am in good hands and will get back up help should I hit a problem. I highly recommend Ecocetera.

We had solar panels and a battery installed by ECOCETERA and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. They originally came out and quoted for us, and although it was almost a year later before we decided to go ahead, the communication throughout was absolutely fantastic. Any query or question we had was responded to very quickly, both before and after installation. The installation itself was carried out during extremely hot weather, but the team still turned up, worked incredibly hard, and remained professional throughout. They were courteous, respectful of our property, and did a fantastic job. They started on time, finished on time, and cleaned up so well you’d never have known they’d been here. After the system was installed, we had a couple of questions, and phoning up was never an issue — nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Our questions were answered promptly, help was always given, and they even carried out site visits to make sure we were completely happy with the system. We cannot recommend this company highly enough. A fantastic local firm: incredibly professional, competitive on price, and delivering a brilliant service from start to finish.

Ecocetera did an outstanding job from the initial on site meeting through to completion. They took the time to understand my requirements and provided advice on a range of products that would meet my needs. They organised everything perfectly, starting work when they said they would and completing everything in just a couple of days with all work undertaken to a very high standard. Following the installation they checked all was working as it should and took the time to help register the system and set up the on line monitoring app. Ecocetra were very competitively priced and provided excellent value for money. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

The upgrade to our solar system was conducted with a high degree of professionalism bearing in mind, this was a complex process in this case. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. You have probably found this review because, like me, you check every review before committing a significant sum to a high-tech project that could go well or badly. I had also had a personal recommendation for Ecocetera, so I commissioned them, rather than others, to add a battery and gateway to an existing solar panel installation. They were utterly professional throughout the entire job, and unfailingly polite and helpful with my many questions; and this has continued even after the invoice was paid! I unhesitatingly recommend Conrad, Jeannie and their team.

Honest, reliable, competent and courteous

Ecocetera recently added a battery and gateway to my existing solar panel system, which had been installed in 2014 by another company. Others may be capable of doing a good job, but Ecocetera has stood out for me as utterly competent and professional in all aspects of the job, from first tentative contact, through discussion of options, quotation, installation and post-completion support. Perfection isn't given to Man, but Ecocetera are the next best thing.

From the initial inquiry to the installation everything went very smoothly. The site team were very professional and the installation was very neat and tidy. The office team always answered the phone and dealt with any queries quickly. We would highly recommend Ecocetera to anyone considering solar panels.

A brilliant and positive experience overall. Right from the initial survey, where Conrad explained what our options were for our installation. He was polite, informative and not pushy at all. Then Jeannie helped with quotes for different options that were right for us, rather than the company. The installation went very smoothly, the installers were again, polite and very helpful, going through what would go where. They completed on time, with a very professional job. I had heard so many bad reports about other Solar companies, it was so nice to work with such a good local company that really did care that we got the best solution that was right for us. Ecocetera - another excellent installation

Having used Ecocetera for several projects in the past, we were very pleased to find their services continued to be of the highest standard when we contracted them to instal a domestic battery and a further eight PV panels. They discussed options with us, including the idea of using the latest panels which could provide high output even on our north east facing roof. Their quote was easy to understand, the price was competitive, and they offered installation dates that were convenient for us. They arranged for scaffolding to be erected in advance of installation, and this was done efficiently and without any problems. The actual installation of the PV panels, inverter, and all new cabling were done in two days by experienced Ecocetera staff. They were polite, tidy, informative, trustworthy and helpful at all times. We were delighted with the quality of the work. Having used them several times in the past, we knew how good they were, and on this latest work, they came up to all our expectations. Well done.

I can highly recommend Ecocetera for solar PV and battery installation. Ecocetera installed our solar PV about 12 years ago and last week they installed a battery system to conplement the solar panels. What a great company. Everything has gone as smoothly as it possibly could from the first contact. They are lovely people both in the office and on site.

When it was necessary to switch off the power, we had advance warning and it was only for a brief period of time so it didn’t disrupt any working from home days. Communication was via email and all queries were promptly resolved, usually on the same day. Even when we decided to add an extra solar panel in mid-job, this was easily accommodated. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ecocetera to anyone looking for a good quality solar system for their property.

We found Ecocetera to be a very easy company to communicate with. All of our initial questions were answered quickly and thoroughly before we proceeded to a survey. We accepted the quote and the company were then very flexible about the installation date. The install team where super polite, efficient and tidy. Ecocetera were recommended to us. We telephoned them and they soon provided an estimate by email with various options. After talking through pros and cons when they visited our house, we decided on solar cells with the ability to expand with a battery system later on. Ecocetera installed a 5.66kW solar PV array in February 2024. Everything went smoothly, the installers were friendly and efficient, and the finished product neat and tidy. I was so impressed I asked them to install a 10kW SolarEdge battery in May! Excellent !! Just had my solar and battery installation completed by Ecocetera Ltd and could not recommend them highly enough. Conrad & the team (James, Will, Dave & Tom) doing the installation take real pride in the work they do everything installed is very neat and tidy and they leave the place spotless. I had an awkward roof which faced different directions but Conrad & Jeannie came up with a suitable design to make the most of the space available and gave options for different battery storage to various budgets so it was great to have a choice. Conrad uses ASM scaffolding, they were also excellent, my scaffolding has been down for ages and my neighbour (who used someone else) still has their scaffolding up even though his went up before mine. Once again thanks Conrad, Jeannie and team for an excellent job.

Delivered on time to a good quality

Installation of 18 solar panels and a 9.5kWh battery. Ecocetera were one of 3 quotes I got for the work. Ecocetera were the only one who came to view my property before submitting a price. The quotation took slightly longer than the other companies but was within the timescales indicated during their visit. The lead time for the installation was approx. 10 weeks from the date of the quotation. I was offered a choice of installation dates and everything went exactly to the times they agreed, from the initial installation of the scaffolding to its subsequent removal. I was impressed by how smoothly the installation went, the quality of the workmanship and the appearance of the installation. Overall I am very pleased with how everything went and would definitely recommend Ecocetera to anyone considering a Solar PV installation.

I have recently had solar panels fitted by Ecocetera. The whole process was very smoothly and efficiently carried out with little inconvenience to myself. The team were highly professional, courteous and helpful, explaining everything at every stage. I thoroughly recommend the company.

We asked our new-build developer to recommend a company to install solar panels and they recommended Ecocetera, and a friend recommended them too after a recent install. Ecocetera did a great job. They were helpful exploring the different options to work out the best solution, the team were always prompt and professional for the survey and the install. The installation went really well and would recommend Ecocetera to others in the area.

I got quotes from FIVE solar installers in total, nobody really seemed to get what I wanted until I found Conrad and Jeannie at Ecocetera. Unlike others, his quote and survey of the house and checks for suitability were significantly more in depth and reassuring than any other company. This meant visiting the house, examining the roof, the loft, the electrics and working out exactly how it would be fitted. No other installer did this. In fact, no other solar company even took the time to understand what I wanted, which was basically as much solar as you could possibly squeeze on the roof! I felt he knew everything there was to know about solar and we discussed it at length until I was completely satisfied with exactly what was going to be done and exactly how it would be installed. A huge amount of discussion also took place with Jeannie via e-mail who was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and patiently answered all kinds of things I wanted to know, clarified details, discussed the quote, and there was never anything she didn't know the answer to or didn't immediately contact someone to find out. The price was very reasonable considering the huge size of the install for a domestic house. Everything went very smoothly and it was clear that Ecocetera are one of those companies that do everything by-the-book correct. The wiring, the installation, the electricians, everything was done properly and in compliance. I put this specifically because I've had a bit of a headache recently with various tradesfolk doing a less than stellar job, but in this instance, it was completely flawless. All of installers were professional and polite. It has been a couple of months since it was set up and it is generating an absolute boatload of energy. I am well chuffed. I'm glad I got it done just after moving into my new house, because usually I'm someone that would think about it for years then kick myself for not doing it earlier. If you include these folk when you're gathering quotes I can't possibly imagine for even a second you wouldn't go with them.

Ecocetera were able to step up to the plate by supplying and fitting battery storage for our solar panel system, which we appreciated after being let down by another firm. Office staff are helpful and friendly and were able to offer a better specification at a lower price than our earlier quote. We felt valued and that our custom was appreciated. Moreover, they were able to do a better job of analysing our energy usage in order to recommend the optimum capacity of battery storage based on our usage and budget. Punctual installer, very polite, worked quietly and carefully as is evidenced by the neatness of the wiring all done in good time with no disruption. He answered all our questions after the installation and made sure we understood how to view the battery storage data online. It's been a very good experience, and we have the confidence of knowing they're close by in the unlikely event we have issues needing attention. I have no hesitation in recommending this company

Had a recent Solar PV install on our new roof and it looks great and the process from start to finish from Jeannie and her team was excellent would highly recommend.

We had a 4.2kWh system installed in late June 2019 and it's been faultless - a rapid survey and quote followed by a quick installation. The Solar Edge app means we can monitor our production (we decided not to bother with a full monitor to see what goes back to the grid as we're not expecting there to be much). Excellent service and a great product - would gladly recommend Ecocetera.
