AGMS fitted a battery installation and car charger for us late last year. Chris did an excellent job specifying the kit. (He uses Tesla batteries and Zappi car chargers.) The installation went very smoothly, with Chris and his team doing a neat job and completely tidying away at the end. He finished it off with a really clear demonstration. The installation has been working brilliantly ever since. We are very happy customers!

Just had an instalation of panels and batteries from AGMS. Very happy with the instalation after chatting to Chris we worked on a solution that was squeezing the most production from my roof using what seems to me like the best kit. It was all installed very neatly along with a couple of tesla batteries. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.

Dr Chris and his team were exceptional: pleasant throughout, meticulous, professional and great to work with. Nothing was too much trouble and a successful outcome was always at the forefront of their work. I cannot praise them more highly and encourage you to, at the very least, invite Chris over for an initial consultation;. You will not be disappointed. Design and installation of solar PV panels system and myenergy Zappi charger; Very pleased with the work of Chris and his team who were conscientious, did the work on time and were happy to explain what they were doing and how they were doing it as work progressed. After my solar panels / iBooster hot water system failed and then researching online, AGMS proved to be very helpful in responding to my predicament. I would not hesitate in recommending AGMS. They were highly professional in every aspect of the work they carried out for us, right from design through to installation and communication from their office. Only top quality equipment used and are certified installers. We are an electric only household and Chris was able to fully utilise our SSE NNW roof space. I highly recommend AGMS for solar installations. They are local to us, using local traders who work so efficiently together. When on site they were all polite, professional and accommodating. They left no mess and were very respectful of us and our property. Anthea in particular was very responsive by email and answered all our questions quickly and clearly. They may not be the cheapest but the equipment and standard of work is of high quality, so the system will perform better, last longer, with long warranties. We chose not to have batteries at this stage, we still think they're hugely overpriced. We had three similar estimates from different companies and felt AGMS were straight with us and not at all pushy. They are all very booked up for a while, so be prepared to wait several months for an installation.

Like the rest of the world during 2022/23, I had to wait a long time for my Powerwall to be installed due to supply chain issues, but once AGMS had taken delivery of it from Tesla I was very pleased with the neat and courteous job done by the installation team. Issues on the day were quickly resolved without drama, a sign of an experienced and trustworthy company. Would definitely use them again.

We recently got our Solar panel installed AGMS by Chris and his Team. Everyone was extermely professional in carrying out the work . Right from the start when Chris came out to survey the house for Solar PV, his knowledge and expertise were apparent. He is not a high pressure salesman and he made no attempt to pressurise us into buying a system. He is an engineer who understands the systems he's installing and who can explain in simple terms what they are capable of delivering. He explained the options we could install should we decide to go ahead, together with the potential electrical outputs they might deliver. The whole approach was professional and impressive. When we had chosen a system, including a storage battery, the installation process started on time and the Solar PV cells were installed in one day. His team even resisted multiple offers of tea and coffee in order to get the job done! During commissioning they explained the operation of the system thoroughly to me. The system delivered very closely to what was predicted and, on average, produced about 40% of our power requirements. Of course the power delivered was limited by the size of our roof and the number of Solar PV units it could carry (14). Installation of the battery was delayed because of lateness by Tesla in delivering. Now that we have the battery we are getting, on average, over 70% of our power requirements because the battery delivers power during the night when the solar PV units cannot produce power (the numbers I've quoted include charging the car which does require some input from the grid). Of course the percentage will decrease somewhat during the winter months because days are shorter and, on cloudy days, the solar PV may not charge the battery to the same extent. (NB. our battery was only installed in September so we didn't get the benefit of this during the summer months). Next year, when summer months are included, we hope the benefit will increase. I would like to thank Chris and his team for the work they have done on the installation of our Solar PV system + battery. It’s been great to have a contractor who turns up reliably on time, who does the job and clears up completely afterwards. We are happy to recommend AGMS to others.

Great job by Chris and his guys who worked on the Solar PV installation. The lead-time was perfectly timed for the construction of the new-build garage, the installation was very quick, and the system and was producing power on the second day. Very highly recommend AGMS for solar.

AGMS were great - delivered exactly what I was looking for at a competitive price and a really high quality. Of the 3 quotes I received, AGMS were the ones that sized the system to a sensible spec. (be wary of oversized systems...). Chris and his team were spot on with the delivery, communications and the quality of the install. I was very specific about where I wanted the kit and all my requests were accommodated (running of cables, location of battery and cut off points etc. If you are looking for a tidy and well installed system that simply works, choose AGMS. Looking forward to the battery install in early '21. Good work guys.

I already had PV from another installer, went to AGMS to discuss Powerwall. Chris was very knowledgeable and helpful. Really good that the person who does the survey and the specification also comes and installs it. Other companies use "salesmen" as others have noted. The cost of the Powerwall itself is quite similar from one installer to the next, however, AGMS's pricing was much more reasonable than others for the installation part of the work as they are not paying salesmens commissions, just paying the T&M for the the actual work. Chris and his team turned up on time, worked hard, efficiently, communicated well, were polite and tidy, took proper Covid precautions, and generally did an excellent job with the installation. My 2x PW2 setup is now running very nicely. I'd have no hesitation in recommending and/or using them again for future work.

I'm very happy to recommend Chris and AGMS Independent Energy team to anyone considering a solar panel installation. ~ no hard sell ~ excellent communication and lots of advice and information about the various options ~ installation was trouble free My next step will be a battery installation, as I'm currently exporting lots back to the national Grid and I'll be in contact with AGMS for the upgrade. AGMS Independent Energy installed and commissioned my Solar PV array and Tesla Powerwall 2. Really impressed with the level of service and quality of workmanship and products supplied. With my house boasting a rather unique roof design, Chris set out to maximise the available space and was more than accommodating with some of my relatively unique requests and changes. We would both like to say what a pleasure it has been to deal with Chris personally and AGMS. There was no hard selling, you were very good at explaining everything and answering my myriad questions,. You and Andy at AGMS and all the people we dealt with through you - the scaffolders and roofers - were excellent, coming when you said and doing a good job. Really excellent service all round and the installation has been performing very well as expected.

AGMS Energy has helped us so much in several projects that we cannot thank them enough. Chris is a joy to work with as he is so knowledgeable and combines this with common sense. He has worked with us for nearly a year and is the best I have seen so far. He is attentive to detail and delivers first class work. He has reduced our carbon footprint and I look forward to working with him again on another future project. In fact I would refuse to work with anyone else as he is so good.
