This is an excellent company who are very knowledgeable and reliable and keep both our heating and hot water systems in tip top condition. Their emergency call out service is excellent.

Had a new boiler fitted by Ryan. Very clean and tidy worker. Covered my carpet as had to go up and down stairs. Was very happy with the work and my new boiler. Tidied up well after himself. Would highly recommend.

XKY Energy are highly skilled engineers and also really lovely people to deal with. They do the routine servicing of our heat pump, any emergency works, and they fitted our PV solar panels.

We had a Vaillant 12KW Arotherm Plus heat pump fitted at our house to replace a 30 year old gas boiler. This required a heat loss calculation to be prepared for the property, specification of new radiators and specification of heat pump. XKY performed all the preparatory work to a high standard taking care to explain the process in an easily understandable manner. This was very important to us as we were retrofitting heat pump technology to an existing property and we had to be reassured it would work. Tibor was very patient in answering all of our questions and a quote was prepared timorously. The installation took place over two weeks and the radiator and heat pump installers were all very polite and friendly and again were always available to answer questions, clearly understanding the technology. The installers took pride in their work and were very good at leaving a tidy, clean workplace at the end of each day keeping disruption to a minimum. The Directors of the company also visited the installation works from time to time providing added confidence in the process. Following completion of works, minor snags were attended to quickly and without complaint. The heat pump has now been installed for two months during which time we have experienced the coldest winter for several years with temperatures dropping as low as -9C. Throughout this time, the heat pump has exceeded expectations in heating the entire house significantly more economically and efficiently than the previous gas boiler would have done.

This company recently avoided me having to pay thousands to replace a solid wood floor due to potential water damage. They quickly analysed the problem, mice gnawing through plastic water pipes, and replaced the pipes concerned with copper ones. They kept me up to date via their main office and the engineer concerned at all times. On the same day I had already contacted 4 plumbers only one of which responded to say they could not attend. I have used XKY for the installation of an Air Source Heat Pump system and they provided top quality service and follow up servicing. They pride themselves on customer service and that shines through.

I cannot speak too highly about the experience of using XKY Energy to install our air source heat pump. From the moment we spoke to Zoltan and met Tibor we knew we were in good hands. They are consummate professionals. The whole installation team were hard working and careful, and quality of our installation is exceptional. Hanan in the office is very responsive and efficient. XKYEnergy Ltd installed an Air Source Heat Pump system for us earlier this year. These guys are really knowledgeable and explained a complicated installation as clearly as possible. They are very positive problem solvers and don't give up until they find a solution. The workmen a very professional and will start early and finish late if it suits you. Hanan in the office also deserves praise because she has her finger on the pulse of all that is going on, which frees up the workmen to get on with what they are best at. Even though we live on the outer reaches of their area, in the Borders, we never had problems with them coming out to resolve issues.

XKYEnergy Ltd recently installed a High Efficiency Wall-Mounted Gas Boiler in my house. The price was very competitive and the installation was done quickly and efficiently. I have dealt with heating engineers on many occasions in my life as a householder for 55 years. And on quite a few occasions I was disappointed and frustrated with the service. Five years ago I started using the services of Tibor ((Director and Engineer with XKYEnergy), and now have absolute faith in him and this company. He is a very results and solutions orientated professional. An added bonus is the customer focussed office, run by Hanan…. a delightful, efficient, helpful and very importently: cheerful manager! I will recommend the whole team unreservedly to all my friends and relatives. Thanks guys!

Joe came to service my boiler and to fix an issue I had with my mixer shower. I was fully expecting to have to get a new shower, but Joe was able to replace the faulty part, which he did so quickly and for a very reasonable price. Very friendly and professional throughout, with excellent communication about what the options were and so forth. Highly recommended!

Couldn't ask for for. Zoltan debugged all aspects of my heating system from faulty controllers to undersized radiators and noisy pipes. He explained all the options making best use of existing components, happily answered all technical questions, and helped me pick and place new radiators as required. He also helped me pick the right smart thermostat and plan ahead for underfloor heating in our extension. Very thorough, great communication, highly recommended!

Zoltan and his team are always very responsive when arranging our wood pellet boiler or aspiration kit service. We’ve had a few issues with our boiler and they’ve been rectified with good knowledge, skill and great communication. Would definitely recommend.

Very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and courteous service. Zoltan took the time to go round our entire system, work it all out and explain it all to me. After the Boiler service the system has been working so much better, a significant improvement. I'm very impressed and will definitely be using them again.

Very helpful and professional. Our boiler stopped working during a cold spell and they fitted us in at short notice. The engineer was thorough, knowledgeable and friendly and persevered until he'd fixed the problem, even though it was getting very late. Communication excellent, with diagnostics and further support offered over the phone before and after the repair.

Over the last two years Zoltan has worked for us to first set up and now maintain our complicated boiler system. He's always efficient, professional, and tidy. He really cares and he's also a nice guy. I'd recommend him to anyone.
