Fantastic Service

Really enjoyed working with South East Solar and I am over the moon with my installation which was installed VERY efficiently by a friendly and polite team. The same can be said of the office based team and the scaffolding team and I think it's a great asset to have the scaffolding and solar all under one roof.

The team installed solar panels on the 26th Feb 2026. Excellent service all round from the electrician who did the cable, battery and inverter installation. Very informative and offered advice. The panel installation team even cleaned out my guttering whilst on the scaffolding as I asked if I could use their ladder to go up onto the scafgold to do so. They did it for me instead. Top rated service

Used South East Solar as part of the Solar Together programme through KCC. Everyone has been polite and friendly from the initial survey and the installation. They were able to install within 2 weeks of finalising the quote (they could have done it sooner but we were not ready). The job was done in 1 day, nothing was too much trouble, even when the electrician had to go back to the depot for a replacement part (2hr round trip). They spent time explaining the solar panels, how the system works, and how to use the app. Was very satisfied with the service.

Excellent, easy process to have solar panels and a battery installed through the Solar Together scheme. South East Solar ran the install really smoothly from site survey through to completion, with good communication throughout.

SESE - what a great company. We have a heat pump and decided to make use of solar with a battery too. SESE installed just before Christmas. Every part of the journey has been perfect. Communication was great. For us who were complete novices, the back office and colleagues on the field were so helpful. The install was quick and the scaffolding went up and down again quickly too. Aftercare was great - all the paperwork, manuals etc. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Thank you again.

I had problems with a couple of companies when looking for a solar supplier - namely JPS and Little Green Energy, both presented inflated costs and plenty of methods of inflating charges. South East Solar were faultless from beginning to end and more than 30% less for exactly the same specification. My system was installed and has been running for over a year now - no complaints at all - superb quality work at a reasonable price I highly recommend South East Solar

We had a battery storage system installed by SESE in December 2025 to make better use of the solar panels we already had and to reduce the running costs of our heat pump. All aspects of our experience with SESE have been great! Communication with us in the lead up to our install was excellent and the install was done quickly and efficiently and after care has been great too. So impressed with South East Solar & Electrical

Just had a solar, battery and EV charger installed by South East Solar & Electrical and all I can say is wow!! Why aren’t all companies as good as this. They were so friendly and efficient. They gave me a timeline for things to happen and everything happened exactly as they said despite my constant questions and changing my mind about which EV charger to have. Amber in the office has an insane amount of patience with newbies like me. The quality of the installation is top notch and they ran through everything with me and made sure I was happy using the system. Having seen some horror stories about solar and battery installations on YouTube I was quite concerned when booking the installation but could not be any happier with the way it has turned out. After sales service is really good too. Had a minor glitch with the system at 4:15pm, SESE had someone on my doorstep by 10:30am the next day and it was fixed with a reset within 15 mins. Several friends want to have solar and batteries systems installed and I have recommended SESE to them.

Great experience at every step with South East Solar. The team took the time to answer all my questions, created a number of different possible configurations to help me decide on the best solution, and didn’t employ any hard sell tactics at all. The installation went smoothly and I am now enjoying the benefits of solar electricity generation.

Obtained quotes, South East Solar form the Solar Together council initiative was best, council confirmed some track record in the local area. Entire process was a pleasure. Quote explanations, arranging survey, installation, and final handover. Highly recommend, middle of winter and alive halved energy bill, I’ll be exporting in summer months. 17% after tax return on investment was not sales talk.

We have had 6 solar panels and 5kw battery with an inverter installed now for the last 2 weeks . We went with this company because of the reviews and from the first meeting we had we knew we was right . From the first meeting to assess what I can have to the scaffolding ( who went above and beyond there duties) to the insterlation the workmen were respectful of the property and very efficient. Overall 2 days to fully complete and be online. We are extremely pleased with the outcome. I would highly recommend these guys

Totally agree with all the other 5star reviewers. We had solar panels and a battery installation, and SESE have been the easiest supplier to work with. Excellent communication, always someone on the end of the phone if you had any questions, friendly, efficient installers who explained all they were doing. The handover on the day included ensuring we had the app up and running. Commissioning documents have been organised by their staff so we don't have to deal with an unfamiliar process. Just waiting for our export MPAN which is outside of their control. A very painfree experience and would highly recommend South East Solar and Electrical.

I have recently had South East Solar install a solar and battery system to my home (Giv Energy all in one) and I am genuinely surprised. They are the first company I have dealt with in any field for a long time that has communicated well, done a professional job, done it on time and for the money they said it would cost! The team (both office based and installers/technicians) were easy to deal with, contactable on the telephone (everyone else seems to use email/chat bots now - so it was lovely to speak to actual human beings) and they were knowledgeable/competent. I had a very minor technical issue with a bit of the kit and they just came back out and replaced it with a different brand that was more reliable and more expensive and didn't try to charge me for the upgrade. "Honestly it's better we do this than come out again and again if it isn't right" is what I was told. They also had a bit of personality, I can't quite believe it, but I think I've actually found a company that I like for the first time in ages! I would never normally write a review (in fact I think this might be the first one I've ever done), but I I felt it was warranted. Seriously good job all round. I'll be recommending them to friends and family. 10/10.

Their staff is amazing. From any department, technical, operational, management, administrative. They are knowledgeable, listen to your requirements and they give you great alternatives. They are prompt with any issue. Their price was unbeatable. Excellent quality of work. Installers were careful with and around my property. Always courteous and respectful. Billy and Jude were absolutely fantastic to work with. Billy responded to my enquiry on a Saturday evening and provided me with a full quote that same evening. They were incredibly informative, punctual and tidy in their work, carrying out every element to a high standard and more importantly were a pleasure to have in our house, fitting a Tesla Home Charging Unit and rectifying some previous electrical works within the property. We would highly recommend their services for anyone looking for high quality service at a reasonable price.

Service received from this company was impeccable. They provided a very effective telephone enquiry line (thank you particularly Gemma) before I decided to go ahead, undertook the installation very soon after the contract for work was agreed and the installation workers were careful around my property causing no disruption to me and my neighbours. After a few days, I can say that everything seems to be working fine. The company contacted me for feedback just 2 days later and assured me that I can call at any time if I need further advice about the system and the app. Added to this, the price was very competitive, almost half of the cost of the first quote I received. Fantastic service, great quality and competitive pricing. I requested a quote from SESE after having a quote done by another company. SESE came in at a much more competitive and realistic price to meet my requirements and expectations, and from start to finish, Gemma, was absolutely excellent. She took the time to explain it all to me and her responses were speedy and clear. The communication from SESE has been excellent, they have obviously streamlined the service over time. It was so quick, hassle free and easy from start to finish. The workmen were all very polite and punctual, as well as clean and tidy and open to any questions we had. The install was seamless. Having worked in the (commercial) construction industry for about 10 years earlier in my career, I'm used to "a range of qualities." The electrical installation that SESE did has to rank as the best I've ever seen. The cable routing was a far neater job than I'd any right to inspect (and the panels on the roof look good too, but I've not been up there to check!) The whole process from end to end was very seamless - Ben in sales worked up a couple of quotes for a couple of different options, and the admin was very clean too. The only downside is that watching my power flows on the App is very addictive when I ought to be working :-)

Brilliant service installing electric car charger on our property. Booked in an appointment for a weeks time, great communication from the advisor. Engineer friendly and professional, fitted the charger quickly and did great job with tidy cable clipping. Fantastic service all round!

I am extremely happy with our experience with SESE. Having researched numerous companies for our Solar Panel and Battery solution and receiving various quotes and surveys I found the whole process from SESE a clear winner in terms of price, professionalism and expertise. Our survey was conducted by Glen who was extremely courteous and helpful and set the tone for the whole engagement. Our customer contact Ben was responsive and gave us all the details of our booking and what to expect from the installation. Our scaffolding was arranged and put up promptly by Marcus and his team with minimum fuss and the installation team were onsite the next day. Max and Sam kept us informed on the panel installation while Will and Nick gave us a full run down on the electrical installation and how everything worked. Once the work was complete we received all of our documentation, warranties, guidance, welcome packs etc. from Ben in addition to also receiving a courtesy call several days later from Will the electrician to check that everything was ok. Overall an outstanding experience and team to deal with. I will definitely be using SESE in the future for further upgrades to our installation and highly recommend them.

I used SESE for my own installation at home which went smoothly and was finished in a day. It works a treat and does everything that was promised of it. I have since engaged SESE to install solar panels and batteries on our Local Village Hall which has been an amazing success. SESE bent over backwards to accommodate a very tight deadline and the installers were polite, professional and super understanding of the urgency involved, they cannot come more highly recommended. I can't speak more highly of the service and response i have had from SES. The solar and battery system they spec'd and installed 7 months ago has performed fantastically. I have had two minor service issues that they have promptly and efficiently sorted for me. A great company who can't do enough to help. Highly recommended.
