Very good service from the initial survey to the installation. I already had solar panels so needed battery storage and car charger installed. It was clearly explained & the installation team were very thorough and explained how it all worked on completion. When I had some follow up questions to get the best use of the system, the office team were very helpful.

Very happy with the solar panels, battery and inverter fitted by Rutland Renewables. The guys on the team were all very friendly, professional and knowledgeable and completed the job on the dates we agreed and in the time frame agreed and all at the cost we agreed so we are very happy. The scaffolders were also a good team and did a great job even though access to the rear of our property is not shall we say the easiest.

As a part of an extensive renovation project on my house I had a full in-roof solar panel array install with Sigen batteries, invertor, gateway and EV charger from Rutland Renewables Ltd. I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Rutland Renewables, two days to fit 18 panels and a 10kw battery. The engineers were so professional and friendly, answering questions and explaining everything they were doing. They left us with a fully working system and no mess. I would recommend.

Plenty to smile about!

I have plenty to smile about as I relax in my hot-tub, heated by yesterday's solar yield. I chose Rutland renewables for my solar panel/battery system despite their quotation being a bit dearer than four others because they use in-house installers and tailored the design of my somewhat complex 29 panel system exactly to my requirements. Including a small air-con/heat-pump and an EV charger, they had it up and running in three consecutive days. There were inevitable glitches, but Director Will Armstrong soon had them sorted to my ultimate satisfaction. 5* indeed!

Rutland Renewables we're fantastic from start to finish! A few of our neighbours had recommended them and having got a similar quote from a nationwide company, I decided I would much rather go with a local firm in case they needed to come out again. I felt like no question was to silly to ask and they we're always very prompt with there responses, which helped narrow down the overall system I went for. The fitting of the battery/inverter/cabling was very neatly done and it's been amazing to see how much the panels have generated and we're so happy we went ahead with it and glad we chose to go with Rutland Renewables. I highly recommend them!

We approached Rutland Renewables in early March 2025 for a quote for a solar installation at our home. Very quickly we received a considered plan and quote for an installation that met our expected needs; there was no hard sell. We accepted the quote and arranged with Rutland Renewables to fit the installation over 2 days in early April 2025. Despite the scaffolding arriving on the morning of planned installation, a calendar mix-up with the sub-contractor, the Rutland Renewables simply prioritised what could be achieved on the first day and had no problem completing the install by the end of the second day. A very professional, friendly, polite, enthusiastic and efficient team they were. They listened to our requirements regarding the routing of external cables etc. and their work was extremely tidy; the fit and finish of all components was to a very high standard. Once the system went live on the afternoon of the second day, the team assisted us with setting up the best tariff with our electricity supplier and advised as to the process of getting the requisite documents/serial numbers to allow us to apply for an 'electricity export' registration. Over the following few days the Rutland Renewables office provided us with the documentation we needed to make the application and basically guided us through it. Once the registration was complete, it only took a few days, we then approached our electricity supplier and set up an 'export tariff': we started receiving 'credit' for exported electricity 28 days after the installation went live. In terms of ongoing support we have had a couple of queries regarding paperwork and documentation, and these have been addressed very quickly and efficiently by the Rutland Renewables office. As for the installation itself, it is only 2 months old, but it hasn't missed a beat; it works exactly as expected. Rutland Renewables get 5 STARS, we thoroughly recommend their work and the service that they provide.

I am very pleased with the service provided by Rutland Renewables. The specification and estimate was clear; the panels were optimised for my two roofs; the installers were efficient, friendly and did what they said; the equipment was neatly installed and has been working perfectly for the two months since. I enjoy keeping an eye (via the App) on the quantities of electricity I generate, use myself and export to the grid.

From the initial visit to the after-installation support, the whole team were helpful, efficient and informative. It is now a few weeks since the solar panels began to provide us with electricity and we have been very pleased with the results.

The information I would like to share, is a few photos of the installation, and how my installation was processed. I ordered the solar panel installation and more in May 2023. At the time Rutland Renewables informed me of the waiting time due to the volume of work and the ordering the materials, scaffolding etc. The team kept in contact with me by the usual methods and updated me every few weeks up to the installation day. First the scaffolding a few day before, to be erected and then the exciting day of the installation. The engineers were great, kind and curious. The engineers working so hard in the 30 deg heat, and also answering my questions as they were sweating and working hard. Rutland Renewables director came along and trained me on how to use the two apps I have. Now I had 14 Solar Panels, 9.6Kwh Battery Storage, E.V. Charger, and an "EDDI" to give me free hot water everyday. Loving it! Then best of all, selling power back to the GRID. Best purchase Ive ever made! I believe I have chosen a great company, with total peace of mind with insurance backed Guarantee. Would I recommend them, oh yes! Hope this helps when choosing a company to install the various products you are thinking of purchasing.

We have just had solar panels installed and Tim, Will and the team at Rutland Renewables are fantastic. They are professional, accommodating, friendly and knowledgable. From start to finish, we have been fully informed and everything delivered as promised. Everyone has been a delight to work with including the chaps putting up the scaffolding and installing the system. I thoroughly recommend them:)
