I would highly recommend Redmile Energy — we had an excellent experience from start to finish. The team were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Special shout-out to Steve, who patiently answered all of my technical questions and really knew his stuff, and to James, who helped plan the installation and made the whole process smooth and well organised. Once I decided to get solar, I contacted Redmile after a recommendation from a friend. I was given a competitive price, with no hard sell or pressure. My follow-up questions were answered quickly, and once I decided which kit I wanted, we scheduled the installation, which was completed on time. Everything was explained clearly, and the quality of the work was outstanding. We’re very happy with our solar system and would definitely recommend Redmile.

Very professional , good communication before during and after the installation. They were able to install the panels and batteries where other companies were unable to. Installation very efficient , it only took 1 day and the after installation back up also very good. No hard sell , more of an advice based approach, I bought the system on the recommendation of 2 friends who had systems from Red mile.

The team at Redmile Energy installed a solar PV array and battery for us. From start to finish the service was excellent, they initially listened to what we wanted, kept us updated as the project progressed and then completed a very neat installation which was up and running the same day. I would happily recommend their services and workmanship to anyone.

I treated this solar project with a bit of fear as solar panels in my world do not look that attractive. The other half of my battle was finding an installer that was local and good. After dismissing national companies, mainly due to back up (or lack of) and an electrician locally who installed solar, I came across Redmile solar on an internet search who just installed ‘solar’. Checking their credentials and reviews online, James and Steve gave a personable quote and were sympathetic to my initial fears. They did not try and sell but pointed out the feasibility at my property and the type of installation. After a quote I elected for a full on system to include 16 panels, two batteries, Inverter and I boost. We agreed the dates and installed with an army of trades, scaffolders etc, all used previously by James. Seven weeks on, I am not disappointed and the installation well exceeded my expectations. The first six weeks on the Smart Export Guarantee has surpassed £100 to be credited to my account. Ok, we’ve had the perfect spring and summer for generation but my ambition is that the summer SEG solar credits will pay for winter gas heating. This will turn a £1440 annual fuel bill to zero, assuming we can elect for zero gas / electric standing charges this year. That’s 8 years for payback but I’m confident my system that Redmile installed is top quality with local back up if and when necessary. So far it’s been perfect. The App showing ‘live’ generation is addictive as everyday I annoy people with the results. If I now use the EV charger also installed, I am confident this will supply me with at least £300 worth of annual saved fuel if I am careful when it is used during solar generation. Choose Redmile, you will not be disappointed with all they offer. They are very competitively priced and the team come with an honesty, the feeling you need for a valued investment. Seven weeks on, I am now used to those black solar panels and actually look that they were meant to be. I won’t save the planet but I can do my bit. The feeling of actually ‘filling your boots’ to use appliances when you want anytime day or night with no extra costs Is actually quite satisfying and that’s what it is also about!

This company is good on installation. But their customer service is extremely poor. It anything goes wrong with your panels etc, you will have to chase them and plead with them to come and have a look at it. Also don't fall for the empty promises of warranty. You will still have to pay for call out charge and investigation and IF the faulty part falls under the warranty you will have to go back to manufacturer to claim. I am not sure at this stage of the cost of replacing the faulty part and how long will all this take. In the meantime my solar panels are not generating anything.

Redmile installed & commissioned solar panels, batteries & EV charging point in a couple of days very efficiently, no problems. They were extremely helpful throughout the process & very professional. Highly recommended.

I am very pleased with Redmile Energy's installation and workmanship. The contract was fulfilled on time and with great efficiency despite the poor weather in January 2025. I am benefitting financially even in the present gloomy conditions. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm who will do a first rate job.

Redmile energy fitted a 13 panel + battery system for me. The whole process, from the original quote, to completion, was seamless - taking just over a month from quote to completion. The actual install took place over two days. The price of the system was significantly less than the likes of Octopus, and I was reassured that Redmile Energy actually visited the property to assess what was most suitable/possible. After sales care was also fantastic. I had a minor issue regarding battery charging that I notified to Redmile on a Sunday, and the necessary fix was applied on the same day. If youre thinking about getting a solar panel system installed, I would highly recommend the team at Redmile Energy. Thanks in particular to James and Steve, who very very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process.

Redmile energy have been outstanding throughout the whole process. James and Steve could not have been more helpful with advising and planning . With their team of 3, they started our instal on a flat roof at 8.30 and by 4.00 the same day all was done. The attention to detail is to be commended. Their friendliness, cleanliness and attention to detail were second to none. Having started this process by contacting our current energy supplier, we soon found that the large companies were not for us. I cannot recommend this company highly enough and have already given several friends their number. Well done lads.
