Cannot recommend enough! We moved into a house that already had an air source heat pump, however the installation was unbelievably bad. These guys stripped it all back, installed it how it should have been and now it runs a lot quieter and so much more efficiently. Thanks again for the great work!

Responsive, reliable and knowledgeable. Very grateful to Neil who helped us in an emergency. Over weekend with temp of -3 degrees outside, partner unwell when house temperatures plummeted our heating stopped working… 16 degrees and cooling. Our usual contacts were unavailable but Neil came to the rescue, quickly found the issue and our heat was back on within 20 minutes. Big thank you.

Great value

Neil and his team fitted our boiler and system ten years ago and have completed annual maintenance every year since. We’ve just had it maintained but installation was thorough and maintenance has been minimal. The system has been great value and given us economic heating and hot water.

Boiler replacement and upgrade

NCC did a superb job replacing and upgrading our boiler, hot water, and heating system. Their work from start to finish was excellent - they really listened to what we wanted in the consultation phase, and delivered exactly what was promised with a quick turnaround. They were also incredibly helpful with talking us through how the new system works and any questions or thoughts we had about further upgrades to eg. radiators or bathroom etc.. Overall, really highly recommended, with top notch quality of communication and workmanship.

Very good and helpful service

Neil and his team carried out delicate and effective work to complete and improve a heat pump installation that had been done by others. Neil was helpful and clear throughout and the results are excellent. Switching from a gas boiler to a high efficiency low carbon heat pump system is not simple and requires expertise. NCC have this expertise and I would recommend them.

NCC are competent, reliable and trustworthy

NCC competently resolved an issue which a previous engineer hadn't. The fee quoted was the price paid. Communication was excellent throughout and their response time was incredibly fast. I wouldn't hesitate to use NCC again.

This was pat of a large refurbishment project, and they supported us through the entire process. Neil knows his trade inside out, and is unmatched in his knowledge and dedication. After a series of issues with our solar and underfloor heating, it was a relief when a neighbour recommended Neil. He sorted out both the original problem and the problems created by other people trying to fix it. Since then, he has also fitted a new boiler and upgraded our shower. He always finds time to do any necessary adjustments, even when very busy. I certainly recommend NCC South East.

I would highly recommend NCC. Neil of NCC is a good man, on top of being a very experienced and knowledgable professional. We chose NCC to replace our gas central heating with a Grant Aerona 3 air to water heat pump, which he did promptly and in the short times scale we required. In swapping the gas boiler out for the heat pump (an emerging technology in it's infancy), it isn't a straight forward situation, it comes with challenges, yet Neil has always been professional, tenacious, diligent and worked through any problems that arose analytically to work out the best solutions and resolve. He has always arrived and fine tuned the system and offered guidance whenever needed, and it's always a pleasure to see him.

NCC installed underfloor heating across…

NCC installed underfloor heating across 3 levels at our house beneath engineered flooring alongside a heat pump. It turns out they used a product designed for tiling, rather than wooden flooring, and did not follow the manufacturer's instructions (which say that self-levelling compound or screed must be added if used below wooden flooring). This means that beneath the floors (which require even heat) there are hot pipes at 50C separated by cool insulation. Their manufacturer says it's essential to install thermometers beneath the floor to avoid damage to the flooring - this was not done. Their manufacturer says that concentrated pipes should be avoided or insulated to avoid overheating of the floor. In some sections 7 pipes have been laid together where the pre-cut grooves in the boards normally support 3. In those areas the floor is being heated to 30.5C way above the safe limit of 27C, which the majority of the rest of the floor is at 21C. So both damaging the floor and failing to heat the rooms. During installation Neil's constant refrain was "I've run my business from home for 33 years, no-one has ever knocked on my door". Yet when we reported the issues with the installation we have had nothing but denials of the issues.

Reliable and can be trusted to do a good job

Neil and his team installed a new Worcester Bosch boiler and Megaflo tank with a Google Nest system at our house just before Christmas and came back to change the radiators afterwards. They did a great job. I had read a review on Which trusted traders which said he was a good old fashioned tradesman which is exactly what I found. He was honest, down to earth and reliable. To be honest he's been the first tradesman I've been happy with and wouldn't hesitate to recommend, after several bad instances with people on checkatrade.

Neil installed a solar water heating system inc. wall mounted collector, pump station and cylinder. He is expert at this. Highly recommended.

Had a boiler emergency and was recommended this company via the Worcester Bosch Website. Very happy with the service and speed which my new boiler was installed.

New boiler and solar repair

Neil has just installed a new boiler and repaired the solar heating, as well as upgraded our shower. All with the minimum fuss and maximum knowledge and efficiency. I highly recommend NCC.

Neil responded very quickly to our call and came punctually at the agreed time, enabling us to fit the appointment in with work very conveniently. He was professional, knowledgeable and very determined in puzzling out the cause of our problem (loss of pressure to the boiler), and equally quick in fitting in a further emergency appointment to replace the internal pipe-work, which solved the problem. We felt in very safe, experienced and trustworthy hands throughout this job, and also that the price was very reasonable given its seriousness and the number of hours needed to complete it. Neil and Chris were friendly, courteous and hard-working, taking the time to explain their progress and to answer any questions or concerns that we had. We will definitely recommend NCC South East Ltd.

Boiler installation.

NCC proved to be not only efficient but also professional and friendly. There was little disruption to family life and they cleared up afterwards. We are very happy with the boiler and with their workmanship. We would certainly use NCC South East again. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately I am unable to recommend…

Unfortunately I am unable to recommend this company. Neil came to my property to assess the plumbing problem I had. Having rung me to confirm he had obtained the necessary parts and made a firm appointment to do the work on the 6th October at 3.30pm, he failed to turn up. When I texted him two hours later asking if he intended coming he replied that he was 'still in Kent', whatever that meant. I have received no further response from him and there was no apology for letting me down. I was very surprised at this conduct by someone who is regarded as a reputable trader.

Neil supplied and installed our new boiler as well as replacing all our old radiators. We found him highly dependable and trustworthy. He is friendly, patient and ever ready to help and replies to all queries promptly. He does not shy away from going the extra mile. We were very satisfied with the professional job done by Neil and his team We first encountered Neil by chance whilst he was working nearby. When we approached him about our broken down old boiler, he happily repaired it and was willing to come back on more than two occasions to get it working again. All this he did for no charge. As a result we entrusted him with replacing our daughter's boiler which he did extremely well. We certainly have no hesitation in recommending him and his team to anyone.

Great service on our boiler.

Neil helped us with a boiler repair when British Gas recommended a new one. Neil also found a fault on our gas meter which British Gas missed despite checking the meter. Neil organised the repair to the meter and also repaired our boiler. Neil also gave the boiler a full service and showed where he had cleaned the boiler which had been missed by British Gas annual service.

Neil and his guys were very polite, responding quickly to any messages or calls. He was able to come and sort the problem at short notice and source parts at good prices. Clear and transparent costs. We will definitely have him back to do our annual services on boiler and solar panels system (and before then if needed). Would highly recommend. Many thanks

Boiler service and replacement radiators

Neil fitted a new boiler in my house about 12 years ago. He has been servicing it since then and has also replaced and moved radiators over the years. He has always been professional with fair prices and I would highly recommend his company.

Used NCC services to fit valves to all radiators in the house. The staff were very professional, didn't waste time and just got on with the job. The conversation I did have the guy was fine, he worked throughout and was not distracted at all. Have used them since, and am thinking about having them install my Solar panels. No complaints, would highly recommend!

We have just. had a new Worcester boiler and unvented tank fitted by Neil and Mikey. From the minute they started work it was clear that they are experts in plumbing and heating. They work fast and the finished job is brilliant. They also came back without fuss to change a shower which could not cope with the higher water pressure. Great value for money too. Highly recommended.

Was let down by another plumber who did not turn up so was very happy when this Plumber was on time, was very quick at looking at the boiler and decided that parts were needed and he would go and get prices and then call with quote. He came back with around £330 for parts and £300 for labour, thought this was a bit much but as I had already been with out heating for a week I agreed, he told me parts had to be ordered and as I work all week I had to agree to the following Saturday to have it fixed so another week with out heating. On the Friday ( one day to fix day ) he called to say he could not make it on Saturday as he had just realised he needed to retake his gas safe test, asked if he could do that afternoon and I would leave work early but he said no and no to Sunday so told him to forget it. Called Abby Wood plumbers and after a mix up of times on the Saturday ( which they gave me a 10% discount for) they had the boiler up and running with no parts and charged only the one hour call out charge less the 10% discount saving me over £500
