Excellent service. Arrived on time cleared away after their work well and explained at every stage. Really glad to be rid of the cavity wall insulation - inside already drying up now. Means they were spot on with diagnosis of the problem.

I recently had Solar Panels installed on my bungalow by LMG. The service from my enquiry to installation has been professional, efficient and speedy. Nicky the Ops Manager explained how solar installation works very clearly, this gave me the confidence I was making the right investment to reduce my annual electricity cost. The install team led by Dan were amazing and worked in very cold temperatures with high winds, but not once did they moan about the conditions & got on with the work in hand. I am very happy with the work completed and would definitely recommend LMG from the experience I have had with them.

LMG just completed a job, replacing our cavity wall insulation and re-rendering our walls. They did a great job and were easy to communicate with, would definitely recommend.

Surveyor called prior to appointment and was on time/polite. No issues there. Had 5 quotations for solar as advised by a WHICH.com advisor, LMG Were our 5th quotation. First 4 quotes were between £5800 & £6600 - LMG came in at £12,000 😳 for the same spec. Double the price! This is for only a 7 panel solar job on a terraced house. They also had to majorly over estimate yearly savings to lower payback, every other quote predicted yearly saving of £400-£700. LMG predicts £1070. If you didn’t want the jobs lads, just say it wasn’t for you.

I had terrible problems with what I believed to be damp or water ingress on the gable end of my end of terrace house, mainly on the 1st floor bedrooms.Our house is in a very exposed location on top of the mountain and it gets a battering from the wind and rain. I purchased the house as a renovation project and it needed remedial repairs to roof, valleys, chimney and rendering. I presumed that after I had carried out all of the work that the damp issue would go away, unfortunately that was not the case. I replaced all the doors and windows also so it was basically a newly refurbished house. My next thought was could it be that the end wall needed external wall insulation as it was very cold to the touch internally. I searched the internet for local damp specialists and external wall insulation installation firms to see if someone would come and look at it to give me their opinion on what the cause could be. I telephoned a number of them and they all wanted a call out charge which were very expensive and weren’t really very helpful as far as giving any advice whatsoever over the phone. I then found LMG Home Improvements and gave them a ring. I spoke to Matt who was brilliant and he gave me some great information over the phone but said an assessment would be needed, I fully understand that there’s only so much advice you can give without actually physically taking a look at the problem. Matt arranged for Nicky to come over and take a look. Nicky arrived on time and it was immediately apparent that he was professional and very experienced in his field. He carried out a full inspection and investigation and determined almost immediately that there was a lack of ventilation and that the problem was being caused by condensation, I had tried ventilation myself but it simply wasn’t adequate for the property. Nicky gave me a list of recommendations and assured me that the problem was not being caused by damp or water ingress and there was no need for any external wall insulation The assessment was almost a week ago now and I carried out all of the recommended work in just two days.This included installing a fan that runs continuously in the upstairs bathroom and trimming door to increase airflow making sure that the PIV fan was on constantly, making sure trickle vents were open in windows, putting air vents into redundant chimney breasts and treating the bedroom walls with anti-condensation paint ( not to be confused with anti-mould paint as they are totally different) The walls, in an incredibly short space of time, are now dry as a bone. The whole of the upstairs now feels warm and the air is fresh and dry. It is amazing. I am so happy that I found LMG. They are brilliant and didn’t try one bit to get me to have any work done which wasn’t necessary. I was able to do all the work myself fortunately but the advice I had from them was invaluable. I would 100% recommend LMG to anyone Thank you so much.

I had dampness issues internally in my 1926 house due to a brick path being several inches too high in relation to the internal floor and chemical damp course. Given problems with excavating and lowering the whole path I approached LMG who visited the site and suggested an effective alternative solution. On a final site inspection other issues showed up including a blocked drainage system for the guttering down pipe. LMG’s experience and expertise meant they quickly offered modifications to tackle the issues as they arose. The two members of their team doing the work were quick and tidy workers and pleasant to have on site ( not always my experience on past jobs ) and left the site swept and clean. I would go back to them for other future renovation projects and recommend their service.

I went to LMG for a quote/estimate for carrying out a re-rendering (which ultimately included external insulation) of my home. From the initial contact and property survey, to completion of the work, I found this company to be thoroughly professional in every way, and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone considering having this kind of work done.

Proof is in the pudding and the reasoning behind my review now after over a year is based on a successful solution. My utility room was only a single skin brick wall and it was damp all year round. It was blackening in areas no matter how much I was constantly wiping down the walls and using refillable moisture absorbing dehumidifiers, it didn’t make a difference. Last July I contacted LMG and in the August I had the external wall insulation done on two outside walls of the utility room. The result after a year has been nothing but amazing. I have not had any signs of moisture at all. I am so happy I had this work done and would like to say a big thank you to LMG for the professionalism and communication provided. Would certainly recommend this company and its product.

Brilliant professional company. Worked to a good timescale and kept us updated along the way. We're considerate during the work process and finished the job to a high standard. We initially had them complete insulation and render with a roof replacement but then had them back to complete further work.

We had a large project of energy improvement (solar panels, external wall insulation & warm roof for garage) performed by LMG at our rental property in Chepstow. Service was great! Works were great! Timekeeping great! Friendly and helpful contractors! Snagging was prompt! We highly recommend this company for any works you need!

Very happy we chose LMG to do some rendering. The whole process was very smooth, communication was great and it was really reassuring to be able to look at work they had carried out. Matt, Wayne & Martin were friendly and professional from start to finish. We would recommend (and will likely return to have other work done in the future!)

Turned up when they said they would (a rare talent it would seem), carried out the work to schedule, according to quote, professionally and left the place tidier than they found it. It was quite a large job - rendered and externally insulated my house over three floors and along two walls. They kept me informed of their progress every step of the way and managed to complete the work in good time. I’m really pleased with the results. Having had several builders not show up to quote, show up but never quote, or point blank fail to call me back, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and use LMG again.

We have waited a very long time to get our house sorted. After several unsatisfactory visits from other firms and pandemic delays, we found LMG. We are very glad we did. They were very professional from the survey through to the finish. The end result - our house looks like new. We have had so many people comment on how great it looks. I didn't know what to expect, but it exceeded my hopes. Wayne was amazing. His help, support and patience were much appreciated, especially with our 'awkward neighbours'. A potential problem was averted and we are grateful to all at LMG for working this out for us. The boys who did the job (Mac and Jay) were polite and friendly and very accommodating, they worked really well as a team, took pride in their work. So hardworking - a refreshing trait these days, also did some additional small jobs for us. Our neighbours even commented on how hard they had worked. The work they did was to a high standard in every aspect. They, along with Wayne, kept us informed of timescales and any issues that needed to be resolved were done without hesitation. Nothing was too much trouble. As my husband works away it was important for us to have confidence and trust in the team. I was happy to go out and leave them knowing that they would just get on with things. At the end of the job everything was left shipshape and a few very minor issues dealt with immediately. External Wall Insulation,(EWI) with replacement doors and windows, soffit, downpipes and guttering. Had a complete external renovation of our old house. From the initial quote with Matt, then Nicky, right to the finish was great. The results are fantastic.The outside of our home now looks like a new build, thanks to; Wayne, Tom, Kyle, Mike, Lee, Lloyd, Connor, Rob and Ash. We had to wait a long time to get the job started, but well worth the wait. Wayne kept us informed, and was easy to get hold of, and calling the office was refreshingly professional throughout. When they said they would call us back they always did. Would recommend LMG for a great local company, that takes pride in their work. There were small issues, which when questioned were resolved immediately, and I am very particular. Tidy workers, polite, respectful and friendly. The windows and doors were removed and installed incredibly quickly and no issue was a problem that James and his team couldn't solve, overall a great job done. Thank you LMG.

Initially I was struggling to get firms to even engage with me about getting External Wall Insulation (EWI) and re-rendering on my property but then luckily I found LMG. The initial survey was performed on the day and time as promised, communication and options about the work were clear and well communicated and all my questions answered. I immediately felt like it was a company I could trust and would get the work done to a high standard. There was a wait for the work to start but that was not an issue - the estimated start date were accurate and communication coming up to the start of the work was good. The team undertaking the work were friendly, polite, good natured and committed to doing a good job. Their work was to a very high standard and always kept me informed of progress, answered any questions myself or the building inspector asked, kept the area clean and were quiet and respectful to neighbours. I chose to get this work done for primarily functional reasons - improved weather resistance, increased insulation - but the visual impact of the work has really impressed me and the finish is excellent. I am very happy with the job and interaction with LMG and I have already recommended them to others.

The quote we received for the cavity wall insulation removal and rendering was competitive and whilst they couldn't start for a few months we were given an estimated start date.
