I got several quotes for my work needing done, HP Energy was not only the cheapest, but also the quickest to respond to my messages. I got solar, UFH, hot water, batteries, and a heat pump. Great service from start to finish from Craig and Ian, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I had called HP Electrical as I was…

I had called HP Electrical as I was having a new boiler installed and needed a fused spur fitting at the last minute. I phoned on the Friday and he said he would be with me by 8:30 the Monday morning. Ryan arrived by 8:15, great service I could not ask for more so I booked him for a full house Rewire 2 weeks later. Ryan arrived am with a team and completed the full Rewire within a day and then returned a couple of days later to ensure I was completely happy. Ryan and his team are exceptional and I will not need another electrician whilst Ryan is looking after us.

Our previous installers had let us down badly. The ground works were totally inadequate and not fit for purpose and various pieces of equipment, such as ducting for the cable, had not been ordered. Hp visited the site, gave a prompt quotation and were prepared to take on the half finished job. We cannot recommend then enough, professional, friendly and totally dedicated to sorting out our problem. This is a large installation of 36 panels and the ground works proved to be complicated and difficult. They never complained, put their shoulders to the wheel and got the job done without any fuss or drama. If you have to wait for these guys to come and do a job, wait. They are simply the best. We Cannot recommend HP Energy enough, professional, friendly and totally dedicated to sorting out our problem. this was a large installation of 36 panels, the ground work proved to be difficult and complicated. they never complained, put their shoulders to the wheel and got the job done with no fuss or drama. If you have to wait for these guys to come and do a job, wait. They are simply the best. Thank you to HP.

Delighted with the recent installation of our Air Source Heat Pump by HP Energy. We were initially unsure about switching to an ASHP but Craig took the time to explain everything to us and put our minds at ease. The work was completed to a high standard and the team were really conscientious about the impact to our home. The system is working perfectly and our bills have been lowered. Would highly recommend HP Energy for this type of work

The heat pump is also working well with our house now warmer and cosier than it was with the old and deteriorating gas boiler. When testing the electrical installation of the install it became apparent we had some pre-existing wiring faults in the kitchen from a previous shoddy kitchen install. Craig and Iain were excellent going above and beyond to pretty much re-wire our whole kitchen for a very reasonable cost. Overall we are very happy with the standard of work and customer service.

HP Energy Ltd Are A Consummate…

HP Energy Ltd Are A Consummate Professional Company Providing Ultra High Level Heating System Installation, Repair and Servicing And Plumbing Services We live in a rural village on the outskirts of Lanark in a large detached hilltop property. We have an air source heat pump heating system which was mal-installed in October 2019 & serviced by the same company. It failed on 5th December 2022. We called them out to repair it. They left us 6 days in hard frost attending saying the external stopcock was frozen to call Scottish water. After 3 days our pipes froze and significantly flooded most of our property causing extensive damage. The company was uncontactable re heating repairs till 4th January 2023 when they attended saying we needed parts totalling £9000 & may need more & that this was exclusive of vat and labour & that our bill would be in the region of £15,000 plus. As our home was now inhabitable, we moved on 15th December 2022 to temporary accommodation where we remain until the end of May /June 2023 while restoration works are carried out. Following this we researched companies considering reviews for another repairer learning the best reviews were consistently for HP Energy Ltd in Tollcross. We contacted Craig Copeland at HP Energy Ltd who attended our property in 3 working days. He inspected our system & stated that we were unlikely to need the £7500 integrated tank we and our insurer were advised we needed photographing it and sharing the photos with the system manufacturer who concurred with Craig’s findings. He pressure tested our system & produced a professional fault & restoration report as requested by our insurer. The head surveyor found this to be a professional technically written document clearly identifying all faults, causes & that it contained a cost-effective restoration of the same. It had a plan of scheduled works to commence on report approval. This was provided & work commenced as scheduled & was carried out by Craig & Ian Copeland. The team worked hard over each of the scheduled days ordering necessary parts immediately to avoid delays. They got the system working quickly to dry out our property & remove all faulty & mal-installed parts & installed safety systems required to meet regulations & the best possible operational standards including repairing 9 leaks in our pipework & un-plumbing our bathroom ready for strip out of floors , walls and ceiling prior to reinstatement. This work was concluded at a cost of less than 25% of that estimated by the other company. They also fixed our broken front gate at no extra cost. Further during strip out a labourer severed a heating pipe late on a Friday afternoon. We telephoned Craig who attended first thing the next morning charging a minimal amount to repair the pipe & re-pressurisation our system attending when the company were not usually open on a Saturday & charged no extra for this. During works we found Craig, & Ian to be customer focussed answering any questions we had in a non jargonistic way explaining what was happening and consulting us over the stages of work. They attended timeously on each occasion barely stopping. We have now moved our servicing contract to HP Energy Ltd as they have restored our system to a high standard leaving it safe & meeting regulations when it unknown to us did not previously as identified by the HP team and several other service professionals carrying out restoration works on our home. HP Energy Ltd (Tollcross ) not to be confused with a company with a similar name in central Glasgow take a real pride in what they do seeking & achieving the very best for their customers offering consistently high level work and customer service which is fairly priced. We would highly recommend this company for heating & plumbing services. They are consummate professionals in every detail of their practice. They deliver on every aspect of work they discuss with customers, indeed go the extra mile providing more for no additional cost. We were in an extremely vulnerable position when we contacted them & they have changed our living situation dramatically for the very best & we are now confident about our heating system & its servicing and maintenance for the future being with a reliable professional company we can trust.

Our existing heat pump stopped working and would you believe it paying a premium for several years we’re told our breakdown cover dose not cover renewable energy because it’s electric and after trying various companies could not get help,and fortunately our daughter found HP ENERGY on line and after 4 weeks with no heat they advised due to our situation they would put us first if we could make payment to cover goods prior to installing which we were happy to do so 6 weeks to the day we had a completely new ASHP system fitted and can’t thank HP Energy for the huge effort on there part. First class ASHP and battery installation, started when promised and completed to a high standard.

Wrongly, I originally gave HP Energy a 5 star review as they initially presented as friendly and professional, but my experience has turned this round completely. They have left us with a lot of unfinished work despite promises to return and we have suffered enormous stress as they refuse to reply to numerous emails and phone messages. They have gone completely silent. We just want them to finish the jobs. For example we have only 1 shower working out of 3 and we have no bath. HP Energy describe themselves as putting customer satisfaction at the top of their priorities but our experience has not reflected this. I left them a poor review on another review site and their only response was to threaten me with legal action - hardly the reaction I would expect from a customer-focussed company. If you ever criticise them, make sure that your complaints are entirely provable, as I did. Jim

In reply to your response It is very telling that you, a company who claim to have customer satisfaction as a priority, responds by threatening a dissatisfied customer with legal action. If you really genuinely did have customer satisfaction at the forefront of your company ethos you would have pulled out all the stops to fix the problems you have created. I am sitting in a cold house writing this as the heating isn’t working properly. We have brought this to your attention lots of times but you don’t even have the courtesy to reply to our messages. The only way a lawyer can help you is if the lawyer also happens to be a qualified heating engineer and plumber. I will be interested in taking to your lawyers to find out their views on how we have paid you in full but you have left us with only 1 shower out of 3, with no water into the bath as you told us you needed to calibrate the eater, with the toilets not fixed in, the hot water appliance in the kitchen not working, the utility sink not fixed in place with no overflow or label, the bathroom and en-suite cabinets ruined in a vain attempt to instal the plumbing, with noisy radiators upstairs, no underfloor heat in the dining area despite the thermostat saying it is on a while the control box says it isn’t on, variable experiences with the heating, no real instruction on working the heating system, missing shower screens etc during construction meaning that we had to buy replacements, uninstalled bath controls and shower fitments etc For the benefit of anyone reading this, this is not one of those weird rants you sometimes read but is unfortunately a very real problem caused by Iain and Craig st H P Energy. Your trade bodies advise that you be given one more chance to repair the damage. Contact me by close of business if you intend to do so. Failure to contact me will be taken as a clear indication that you have no intention of honouring your obligations. Jim

Got HP Energy to install an ASHP for my property and although we were in lockdown and had to move dates and work around the Energy Saving trust we get the system in as soon as Nicola S allowed us to. The work was impeccable and the support has been great as well, so far I have been happy with the performance and tied in with my solar panels and solar storage it looks like a great solution to keeping a carbon-neutral home.

Our heating system broke down, all other providers were quoting 6+ weeks for installing but HP Energy were able to treat us as an emergency case and complete the installation in less than 4 weeks. Pricing was very competitive and everything was very clearly explained. Our install was slightly more complicated than expected, however, HP were very professional and put in the hours to get the work completed. The communication has been great and any post installation issues (mostly configuration) have been dealt with promptly. HP were recommended by a colleague and I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering installing a renewable energy system. We will be using HP for ongoing maintenance of our system and are looking to make further installations to our house and we would not consider going with any other supplier.

The company gave clear and solid advice and information about the products to be installed and their performance. They also worked a minor miracle, fitting the technology into the available space. Highly recommended in every way.

HP Energy Ltd were professional, respectful, helpful, informative and efficient in their work, from my initial enquiry right through to the post installation follow-up visit. My house was being renovated and the decision to change my solid fuel heating system to a bespoke Ground Source Heat Pump was not easy for me. The installation was a challenge and took longer than expected but I would definately recommend this company to anyone considering renewable energy for their home. The staff were courteous, knowledgeable and very reassuring at all times. I now have a consistently warm house and a lovely blank canvas in my garden to design. 😊 Thank you.

Just had a new Air source heat pump installed by HP Energy (Glasgow). I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Great service from initial consult right through to finished install. Mine was a big job (11 Radiators, heat pump and kit) basically a whole house re-plumb. Its an old house that threw up lots of problems along the way but the HP team took them all in their stride. Thank you HP Energy.

After contacting hpenergy for an air source heat pump quote, I was very impressed by the professional manner my enquiry was dealt with (,no pushy salesman) and just given the facts , I have been delighted with the performance of the heat pump ,and the installation team did an excellent job with first class workmanship, I have since then had solar panels fitted by H p energy and am again very pleased ,the office management is a pleasure to deal with, helpful and efficient WELL DONE HPENERGY Pat and David Proud
