Wow! Amazing customer experience.

Wow! what can I say a truly professional team from start to finish. I normally don't believe the hype but I can honestly say I have never meet a more professional team. Assistance and advice with any funding queries, quote, funding approval, installation and commissioning of an air source heat pump and new radiators all inside four weeks. My thanks go to Joe,Debbie and the wonderful installation team. Always on time, constantly cleaned up every day they were fully aware that a family were still living in the house they even supplied me a couple of small heaters to use whilst they were installing all of the equipment. The installation team ensured we we fully aware of how to operate the system and that we were happy with everything before leaving. Thanks to Matt and Lynn for arranging and conducting the final inspection at a time that suited my work schedule. I really would have no hesitation in recommending the Greener Energy Group to any of my family or friends. I still cannot believe all this happened in four weeks and I now have a very warm and comfortable home. It was customer service at its best. John Sweeney

Excellent service from start to finish

Greener Energy Group were recommended to me by my energy provider, Octopus. I placed a message on their website and someone called me back straight away. Within a few days, a Renewable Energy Consultant from Greener came to my house and spent time carefully talking me through the system. I decided there and then to go for it. In LESS THAN A WEEK, the team arrived to put up 12 solar panels and install a couple of batteries. The four chaps were friendly, polite, efficient and the job was done to a very high standard. They even hoovered up and tidied up after the job was finished. And so, in just a week I had a new solar system! I spoke to Greener before, during and after the process. Every member of the team responds quickly and is very helpful. This is an incredibly well-run and efficient company, and I cannot rate them and their work highly enough. What's more, if you have any issues whatsoever after installation (I have not), they have a great after-sales team, too. I was worried about spending so much money on a solar project, but I already feel it's one of the best decisions I have made.

They came along and said house was suitable for heat pump took deposit now on finding out that house does not have the required supply they have agreed to refund the monies paid. i was looking forward to be part of the green way ahead but alas it was not possible at the meantime

MATT THE ENGINEER

Spoke to Melissa Muir the Aftercare & Service Manager to report that my heating system wasn't working and arrangements were made for an Engineer to call. Matt arrived the next day and very quickly identified the faults and got to work sorting them out. Matt proved a consummate expert and had the knowledge and expertise to put things in working order. I cannot thank Greener Energy Group, Melissa and Matt for their very prompt service and would highly recommend them to all considering installing a Heat Pump or any other type of heating system.

A very efficient installation process

A very efficient installation process, despite the issues of a weak WiFi signal in our area. The scaffolding was erected and removed in a very timely manner, the solar panel installer worked like a Trojan to fit 18 panels in one day and Leon and James stuck with the wiring until the job was completed and functional, desire the fact that it was a tougher job than they had expected, installing into an old house in a rural area. Highly recommended.

I would give 10 stars if that were possible. My experience with Greener Energy Group has been absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The process began with Stephen’s initial visit — he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful — and continued with Debbie, who guided me through every step and made the whole journey feel straightforward and stress-free. The installation team, Luis and Matt, were professional, friendly, and kept me fully informed throughout. They worked incredibly hard alongside Majic the joiner/plasterer, Leon and James the electricians, and Colin, the Technical Heating Foreman, who carried out the Technical Survey and completed the handover. Lynne followed up with a courtesy call to make sure I was happy with the work and that the system was operating correctly, which was a great touch. Even in the short time since installation, I can already see the savings. My house is warm, my water is hot, and the system is delivering exactly what I was promised. Thank you, Greener Energy Group — I couldn’t be happier.

During the Xmas/New Year holiday period…

During the Xmas/New Year holiday period when it was bitterly cold our air source heat pump was badly damaged by a fire caused by a fault in the electrical supply to the house Greener Energy had someone visit the house making sure everything was safe within an hour which is impressive considering we live quite remotely in Argyll. Very impressive customer care.

Declan recently serviced my boiler, and his professionalism and courteous manner left a great impression. I've decided to schedule a yearly service as a result. Additionally, Craig came by to address some plumbing concerns, and he was equally courteous and professional. Both gentlemen were incredibly helpful.

Had my boiler service carried out by Declan. Very courteous and professional. So impressed that I have arranged annual service. Meanwhile Craig attended to a few plumbing issues I had. Again so professional and courteous. Both guys so helpful.

Our energy adventure! With a gas boiler on its last legs we decided that something needed to be done. After a lot of research we decided on a new gas boiler but went also for solar panels and battery. Solar panels fitted remarkably quickly from initial erection of scaffolding though to complete install of 10 panels and battery. Delighted that post-install queries were quickly resolved by Lynne and looking forward to the sunnier weather when the full effect will be experienced.

Great all-round experience The folks from Greener Energy group where fantastic. From Joe who did the survey and supplied the quote through Lynne who gave us the post installation call. The installers themselves we amazing, Jordan especially was very helpful and took me through the whole system. When they left you would not have known there had been there and carried out such a big job as the place was left so tidy.

I recently had 11 solar panels installed with a Sunsynk inverter, and I couldn’t be happier with the overall experience. From start to finish, the process was smooth and professional, thanks in large part to Lynne from Accounts. She was absolutely brilliant—friendly, efficient, and proactive. Lynne made sure everything ran like clockwork and even kept a close eye on the engineering team to ensure the job was done to a high standard. The installation itself was top-notch. The cabling is impressively neat and tidy, far superior to what I’ve seen from other installations in the area—especially compared to my neighbour’s setup, which looks quite messy in comparison. Although I had to dig a trench to my garage myself, the final result was well worth the effort. Overall, I’m very pleased with the system’s performance and the quality of the workmanship. If you're considering solar, I’d definitely recommend this company—and make sure you ask for Lynne to be involved!

The Greener Energy Group team who fitted the air source heat pump over two days were courteous and decent to talk to. They were very hard working and had a lot to do in the two days. The operator who lifted and put back the flooring did an excellent job with fitting it all back with no trace there had been a hatch created or the other areas the flooring had to be lifted. The area was vacuumed dust cleared after the job completed. The electrical guys were the last to leave, fairly late for a Friday getting the system to start operating. After the fitting the next week Lynne Scally (Accounts Manager) called with a courtesy call to see all had went well and discussed if anything else was needed and all was working okay and was helpful. All in all such a large operation was made easier be everyone we dealt with at Greener Energy Group. Many thanks.

Apart from a minor glitch with the scaffolding and a wee delay because of very high winds the install was absolutely faultless. The phone team were absolutely on the ball and kept everything running smoothly would recommend the company to anyone considering solar panels etc.

Great support from start to finish! Info: This post refers to a new Octopus Cosy 9 Air Source Heat Pump installation. Their salesperson outlined everything in a very understandable way, even for us laypeople. The funding team assisted us in applying for a the full funding cover through the Government grant and loan scheme, and assisted us with our Home Energy Scotland application, they really made the process painless. The engineering team, because it was a team, managed to dismantle and remove our old water tank/boiler, six radiators, and oil boiler system; and fit a new boiler, six new radiators, new pipes, and the air source heat pump in 2.5 days. Not bad considering they had to contend with three-feet-thick stone walls and some... interesting wiring. Even the Octopus Energy engineers who came to audit their work had nothing but positive comments to make of what a good, and tidy, job they had done. All incredibly professional from start to finish, cannot fault them or the process. Thank you Lynne for completing the process with us, really a fantastic finish to this project!

I entered into an agreement with Greener Energy Group for a solar and battery installation and paid a £500 deposit. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish: Misleading Information: At consultation I was promised 11 panels would fit on my roof and that I could arrange my energy account switch before installation. Both turned out to be untrue. Poor Communication: I had to chase repeatedly for updates over several weeks. Installation dates were missed without explanation, and scaffolding was left on my property long after works were cancelled. No Proper Survey: No survey was carried out before the install date, leading to a last-minute discovery that fewer panels could fit, and I was offered an insulting £200 per missing panel. Property Damage: Their subcontractor smashed a glass balustrade panel on my decking. I am still awaiting a resolution. Unfair Charges: After cancelling due to these failings, Greener Energy Group tried to keep my £500 deposit and even attempted to charge an additional £500 for scaffolding — despite their repeated errors and poor service being the reason for cancellation. Stress & Disruption: This experience caused significant wasted time, disrupted other work at my property, and left me without the installation I was originally sold. I have now gone with a different supplier and secured a much better deal — a Tesla Wall Connector, a Tesla Powerwall extension pack, and 4 extra solar panels — all for the same overall price that Greener Energy were charging.

Really happy with the support I received from Greener Energy. There were a few issues after the initial installation, but once I raised them, the team got in touch quickly, visited my property, and sorted everything out professionally. The system is now running well, and I’m seeing the benefits. Appreciate the effort they made to follow through and make sure everything was working as it should. Great customer service in the end!

We first contacted the Greener Energy team when we were looking to change our old heating system. After a quick chat, we were booked in for a visit. The sales rep Munro was super clear and extremely helpful with explaining funding and the overall process of installation. He explained how the system worked and gave us a high level explanation of how the system would be installed and associated timescales. The follow up calls with the office were always super quick and clear, they even helped us with the funding forms and helped us out with a dispute with HES (which was resolved). Every time I had to call back, I was always met with good knowledge and all call backs to myself were met. The installation team were brilliant. Firstly Matt did an excellent job of our tech survey and advised of everything that was being installed and where. Even after a misunderstanding regarding one of the radiator sizes (which was my fault), he organised to have a replacement put in the following week, which was done at no added cost. Andy, Ryan and Bruce the plumbers were all good humour and very respectful of our property. The electricians Steven, Leon and Justin were great craic and treated us like old friends as opposed to customers, which we really appreciated. Steven took the time to explain everything that was happening and made sure to let us know about all the installation details. He went through the setup clearly and showed us what we needed to do with the new system. Finally, the follow up from the office and accounts team was always polite and clear about what was happening next and how to finalise payments. There was no confusion there. Overall, we are extremely happy with the experience with Greener Energy, and very happy that we'll have a nice warm house this winter! Very highly recommended.

Excellent service from start to finish with Greener Energy for my solar panels and storage batteries, I could not be happier with my installation and I felt like I was dealing with experts from start to finish. Stephen the Sales rep was outstanding, could not recommend him higher, Tony from installations kept me updated regularly throughout my installation, the electrician did a fantastic clean and tiny installation, he was amazing, and the roofer boys did a great job installing the panels on my roof and the came back the following week to fix a broken title and to bird proof my solar panels. My panels are generating up to 4.5kw per hours and I am so glad that Greener Energy use top quality battery provider (PureDrive) rather than cheaper batteries used by other installers (Smile). Very happy with using Greener Energy than any other installer, highly recommended thank you so much, from a very happy customer!!!

The first part of our move toward being greener. Our solar panels were installed and connected today. The fitters and electricians were pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. All the staff at Greener Energy Group have been very helpful. I look forward to the installation of the air source heat pump.

I had an Air source heat pump fitted earlier this year with the Greener Energy Group and we discussed Solar Panels at the time. Munro gave us advice and a provisional plan for when we were in a position to go ahead with this. There was no pressure to buy at the same time. They took into account our circumstance and were very supportive. We contacted Munro several months later and we updated the proposal and went ahead with organising the installation. The only delay (through no fault of Greener Energy Group) was the scaffolding we would need which is externally resourced. With good communication from the team this was resolved and we now have completed our installation yesterday. The Roofing team that came to install were friendly and respectful and worked hard to get all 13 panels installed in the afternoon. Dan the electrician was extremely friendly and supportive and talked through where to have the battery fitted, the unit and set up the App to enable us to monitor our usage. Finally, the team in the office have always been extremely friendly and informative when making their calls and the customer service has been excellent. I would highly recommend them as a company.

There was a lot more work involved in fitting the air pump than i realised, Gary and Kier grafted over the 2 days of the installation and still found time to give updates as they went. Electrician (sorry missed name) arrived day 2 and all 3 worked well together to finish the installation. All went very smoothly up until the commissioning of the air pump which refused to operate correctly, credit to all 3 that after a bit of head scratching, a faulty part was identified and all was well. Everything was left tidy, instruction on how to operate system was clear and all rubbish was taken away, including several bags of soul/concrete that had been dug out of my garden. Thanks gents would happily let you carry out work in my house again. Cheers

From the start of this process I have felt very supported and well informed at each stage. We have just had the installation last week and the team were very professional, supportive of questions and hardworking. We still have final documentation to complete but I am extremely impressed with the service delivered by the company. I will definitely consider looking into solar panels when I am in a position to do this in the future.

From top to finish - happy with Greener Energy Group! We've had many folks coming and visit our home to assess whether having a heatpump at home makes sense for us, and make sure we are suitable for the RHI payments. Installation went. great in 2 days all done - combiboiler out, radiators changed, heatpump installed, system checked. There has been some miscommunication between team members at some stages, but all in all they did everything they could to resolve those mishaps, and glad all have been sorted. They really care to make sure your system is working properly with Martin coming on a final check and tweaking some of our radiators and giving us tips to make the most efficient way to adjust our heating schedules!
