Exemplary service all the way through. Keir was very clear in his explanation of the system and the communication from Alice, behind the scenes, was excellent. All the team arrived exactly when they said they would and we were delighted with everything, from the scaffolding team to Keith and Medi who installed the panels and to Dan who undertook all of the electrics. Their work was excellent throughout and they all took great care to ensure that everything was done to the highest possible standard. It was great to use a local company and we cannot recommend Glowsolar highly enough. They were a pleasure to do business with. All we need now is more sunshine!

Five star customer service from start to finish, comprehensive (yet understandable) explanation of how it would all work from Keir, excellent service from Alice providing concise information and rapid and helpful responses to emails. The fitting team of Dan, Medi & Alex were not only professional and hard working but also a really neat and tidy workforce. It was a pleasure to have them on site and great to see the care they took with their work and with our property. Enjoying the peace of mind it gives having our own electricity source from solar. Glowsolar really is an outstanding company and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Outstanding company, cannot recommend highly enough. Professional, hard working, excellent communication - we knew exactly what was happening, when, time and dates. Tidy, neat job with the solar panels, bird proofing and electrics- Tesla battery etc in garage. This company take pride in their work, local business, no subcontractors. We had great team from Alice behind the scenes, emailing what we wanted, they even price matched one of the national companies, which we were so happy with, as we wanted to use local company. Scaffolding up on our bungalow when they booked for, seamless service throughout, even when Alice on holiday. Our fabulous team were Dan, Keith, Alex and Keir. Respectful to us and our property. No more worrying about power cuts, loving the solar it generates. Would give more stars if could! Thank-you so much Glowsolar.

We recently had solar panels installed by Glowsolar and I have to say it was a very pleasant experience. They were professional and quick and everyone was very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend them

Glowsolar fitted 10 integrated solar panels on each side of my roof. The project included scaffolding, replacing the gable ends barge boards, and new tiling around the panels. Alice did a great job of coordinating the whole project. Keir was very good to deal with, and he and his team did a great job with the panel installation. Glowsolar provide all documentation, and helped me to set up an export tariff with Octopus. I am exporting to the grid at currently 15p/unit, and import when necessary at currently 26.5 p/unit. Quite apart from the environmental benefits, it's a financial no-brainer to include integrated panels when replacing a roof, due to VAT and tile savings.

Excellent. At the enquiry stage, extremely helpful in making good choices regarding what options there were. Always felt like their aim was to get the best choice, rather than trying up-sell. Installation team were great and did a top job. System seems to be doing everything expect and promised and more. Thanks!

Delighted with Glowsolar. We found all aspects of this company excellent. They talked us through each procedure and we’re very patient with our elderly understanding and comprehension of the procedures. The installation went smoothly with the personnel being very professional. We feel we have got excellent value for money.I would highly recommend this company.

Glowsolar deserve their '5 star' rating. Having been 'burnt' with a solar company before, we were jaded. Keir from Glowsolar presented at a local seminar. Without any hard sell, he did a site survey of our current system, and then advised on how we could be expand it to best effect. We now have 19kw system and a 28kw Tesla 3 powerwall battery setup - and the whole process has been seamless. Great communication throughout - be that from Keir, his team, or Alice in the office. A top example of proper quality - workmanship and service at a really pragmatic and realistic price. If you want solar and work or live in Cumbria/ Lancs/ North Yorkshire, then just go straight to Glowsolar; you wont be disappointed.

Great service from Glowsolar. Friendly professional staff and a really neat installation in our limited space. It is early days yet but it is already producing worthwhile amounts of electricity (in November- which I didn't expect). Cant wait to see what it does in summer (if we get one).

We wanted batteries fitted to enhance an existing solar installation. GlowSolar were very helpful, with appointments quickly set up and kept to and good advice. The battery availability allowed the work to be carried out more quickly than we hoped and all work has been carried out, in a friendly and efficient manner, exactly as scheduled with great communication from Alice keeping the process smooth. We are delighted with the end result.

Highly recommended. I had been considering solar for some time and unsure of the best solution. After talking through with Keir it was easy to understand what system set-up I wanted to have. The design was fine tuned working with Alice, adding more panels and the pricing was competitive so the system was ordered. The complete Install was carried out very smoothly and the whole team are so easy to work with. The finished system was neatly done and up and running very quickly and I am really happy with the performance of the system. Thank you Glowsolar.

Outstanding service from start to finish. After having months of issues with my original installer trying to sort a repair/replacement under my original extended warranty with them only to have them go into administration right before they were due to replace/repair my faulty inverter I was in need of a new installer to get me up and running again. Found Glowsolar were within an hour of my location and looked to have excellent reviews so asked for a quote for appropriate replacement inverter and install costs. Alice answered all my questions same working day on the Monday and was able to fit me in for install that week. Keir turned up Thursday same week and had the faulty inverter gone and new inverter up and running in under an hour, and hearing what a nightmare I'd had with my original installer trying to get the warranty fix done was kind enough to upgrade my new inverter warranty to 10 years for free in sympathy for the issues I'd had. Can only give 5 stars but it's definitely a 5 star+ service that's been given, would highly recommend.

We were so happy with the service from Glowsolar. Alice was amazing at keeping us informed and all the key dates on the timeline were hit. The installation, including the scaffolding, were all professionally carried out and the teams were helpful, courteous and hardworking. Felt very confident in the level of experience and knowledge. We have 11 panels, two batteries , water heating and an EV charger fitted and the pricing was competitive. Glowsolar actually reduced our quote when savings on panels flowed through. Couldn't fault the experience.

Incredibly pleased with the whole planning and install process. Alice quickly got back with a very competitive quote and within weeks we had scaffolding up and the panels and battery were installed in just 3 days by a very professional team. After some research around what might be involved in an investment in a solar system, I embarked on the rather ominous process of finding a supplier. Lucky for me that I came across Glowsolar early on in my search. This wasn’t a task that I was going to entrust in anyone. I wasn’t choosing based on price alone. I was choosing based on the skills and experience of the team involved. My early discussions with Keir and Alice left me confident that I was dealing with a ‘safe pair of hands’. They supported me efficiently through the minefield that the solar design process can be, including the application to the DNO. Their preferred regular scaffolding suppliers were courteous and careful and erected and dismantled in a timely manner. Their electrician and their panel installer were both all round decent, friendly folk who they had worked together with for many years and who clearly knew their trades. They involved me in any decisions that needed to be made ‘on the job’. I was left with a fully tested and working system, with a complete handover pack arriving soon after completion. It’s not so often these days that you find a business that’s professional, helpful, responsive, do what they say they will and do it when they promise to. I’m pleased to have found Glowsolar and, whilst I’m not someone who usually writes reviews, wanted to take the trouble to this time, in the hope that it helps someone else to make a positive step towards a greener future.

Don't let their small size deter you - this is a great team. Thoughtful, helpful, and clear straightforward and competitive pricing. And when we had equipment problems after installation (not their fault but the equipment itself) they were on the case and sorted it with no quibbles or discussion. I can't recommend them too highly!

Kier, Alice and the team made, what seemed quite complicated, seamless and easy with excellent communication, being there when they said they would and producing a service second to none. They did what was stated on the tin. Thank you. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
