So had to remove my first review as the person on the phone black mailed my wife with small claims court if she didn't get me to remove the review even tho when they came we had the 85 in cash but was told they didn't take cash by the engineer but now it's paid can't black mail us anymore and also attached is my original review wouldn't recommend it at all

Excellent company. I have been using them for a number of years, initially to install a new boiler and since to carry out it's annual service. Their engineers are always very professional, helpful and explain everything in layman's terms. Plus, they offer real value for money compared to some more nationally recognised household brands.

Arranging the installation of our replacement boiler online was incredibly easy, and everything was clearly outlined and followed up promptly by the team. On the day of installation, the engineers arrived punctually and professionally, taking the time to walk us through the job, explaining clearly where they’d need access and how the installation would be carried out. They used electronic tools throughout, which made the process transparent and seamless. A real highlight was their attention to detail and consideration of our home environment—especially important since we work from home. They clearly notified us ahead of time if and when the electrical supply would need to be temporarily isolated, which allowed us to plan accordingly with minimal disruption. The engineers' housekeeping was impeccable—everything was left exactly as it was found, and their respect for our space was obvious. Despite our busy household, including two lively cockapoos, the team worked with calm professionalism, making sure everyone (pets included!) was safe and comfortable throughout. From the courteous and helpful office staff to the skilled and considerate installation team, the service has been faultless. It's rare to come across such a well-organised, friendly, and efficient company, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gas Tech Wales to anyone in need of heating services. Brilliant service from two very friendly and hard working staff. They helped explain the job to me and helped overcome issues that were related to the house and not the install. The quality of work from the two boys fitting the system was exemplary. The solar panel fitters we equally as efficient and friendly but I had less to do with them as they were in the roof. I would highly recommend this company if all their staff are as professional and empathetic as these were. Thank you

Excellent at servicing boilers. The appointment was kept, on time and all safety checks done. Gas Tech Wales offer excellent service, efficient, courteous and very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to family and friends.

If Carlsberg did solar panel installation ......they were brilliant from start to finish. Incredibly polite and courteous a credit to Gas tech Wales. They travelled 3 hours to our home and 3 hours back everyday and worked there socks off. I woukd highly recommend this company in future.

The office is very good at wrangling the various teams involved in solar installation. Sometimes, a team is overstretched, at least that’s what it feels like so it makes delivery on a promised day a bit hit and miss. But the support and work behind the scenes is clearly very dedicated and thorough.

Excellent job. All the workers were polite and completed their work with care and efficiency. Respectful of our home and ourselves. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to friends and family for a professional solar installation. Many thanks Paul and Mary

Solar installation was smooth and completed quickly, everything was explained before the work was started, and any mess was cleaned up. Fab company, would highly recommend. Called Gas Tech Wales back to fix the bird protection that had come loose and again, they turned up on time, got the job done - quickly and everything is as it should be

Gas Tech Wales installed solar panels and were very efficient and helpful. They took care of the house, both inside and outside, always tiding up at the end of each day. The installation went very smoothly. I am very happy with all that Gas Tech Wales did during the installation.

Gas Tech Wales installed my solar system and I was suitably impressed with the quality and standard of work of all the staff. In total 6 members of staff (2 Scaffolders, 2 Roofers, an Electrician and the Project Manager) attended. All were cheerful and professional and a joy to have working on our property. I recommend them and thank them for a job extremely well executed.

Just had a solar installation done by these guys. All of the people involved (electricians, scaffolders, panel fitters, etc.) were polite and professional; the install was arranged through OVO and their people onsite were also great. When the planned approach was determined to be slightly wrong -- two strings where one was more appropriate -- they very quickly agreed to the needed changes and got the design updated. Very professional work that is neat and tidy, with my need to work from home being taken into account -- power was only off for about 20 minutes. Scaffolding went up on Monday, installation was done on Wednesday and Thursday, Scaffolding removed on Friday. Overall very pleased and would happily have more work done by Gas Tech Wales.

First contact was great, really helpful. But after that it was terrible service. My mother was left for 2 weeks with the house in a mess waiting for them to come back. She may have a new boiler but the state of her living room has been left in is going to cost a fortune to make good. If I'd known it would be left like this I would have gone with the slightly more expensive quite who said they would make good of whatever was dismantled. A measly £100 taken off the bill as a good will gesture for all of the terrible service and lack of communication doesn't really cut it. Not even the 1 free service will persuade me to let them in my mother's house again.

Initial contact with the office was good. However our straight forward Solar Panel (on behalf of EON) install started off with the first team turning up at 11am. After running out if time, they left with a second team returning 3 days later. The first team, left the electrical work that had to be installed in a downstairs bedroom, in a messy state. Little consideration was given to the appearance as the newly painted room that was left very dirty and the Isolator and Control box was fitted a distance away from where it could have been fitted. We now have to appoint a carpenter to build a box around the boxes. The second team arrived early enough and completed the work fine. However, I felt that more time could have been spent showing us around the equipment to explain how it all worked and what to do with the software perhaps. An update. The system did not work correctly from installation and after speaking with the Battery/Inverter manufacturers, it was found the system was incorrectly fitted, hence the reversed readings. After a few weeks, they returned to repair, only to have damaged one of the sensor wires, requiring yet another visit. After over a month, it is now working fine.

Right from my first telephone call through to the completion of the solar panels installation I found the firm to be excellent. Claire from admin was especially helpful in making sure I knew what was happening and when. The chaps came on the due date and carried out the work well - or as much as I knew of it as being elderly I was unable to see much of the work. The men were polite and respectful and cleared up very well before departure

Working on behalf of EON, Gas Tech Wales arrived on time, listened to my concerns and requests, were clear regarding what they could and would do and carried out the work to a high degree of satisfaction. Both employees were polite, humorous and hard working. Over the two days of having pipework, radiators and boiler installed and also the removal of a water tank they left the property clean and tidy with updates on how the work was going and what was remaining. On completion of the work full, clear advice was given on the operation of the system with the commitment to come back and check if any problems were experienced. What more could you ask for really. I would not hesitate to recommend their service.

Gas Tech came to my home in October 2020 to fit a boiler on behalf of Eon Energy. Whilst fitting the boiler the engineers melted a water pipe and an electrical cable whilst joining new pipework to old (a protective gauze should have been used) . This has caused a water leak spanning over 14 months which started to come through in December 2021. Currently I have over £1500 worth of damage still not attended too in my kitchen (see photos). Neither Gas Tech or Eon want to address the problem now, neither are answering their emails or phonecalls and a formal complaint has been rejected by Eon. Gas Tech are for some reason saying their not responsible for the work. Stay very clear of this company if you want work done by them. Their nothing more than a bunch of cowboys that think it's acceptable to come into someone's home, cause extensive damage and walk away. If looking for a boiler stay clear of Eon, as aftercare service is non existant. The matter is being taken further now through the ombudsmans service and court action.
