Gary and Tom went far beyond my expectations in the installation of the heatpump and related equipment. Not only was their work expertly carried out but the removal and tidying up of the old plumbing was beyond excellent. Highly recommended. It's a big decision installing a new heating system - especially when it involves new, unfamiliar technologies. Tim was (and still is) extremely patient with us and guided us to a solution which, having lived with it for a whole year, we are very, very happy with. We now have an air source heat pump, a large array of solar panels, battery storage, a lovely warm house and comfortingly small electricity bills. Thanks Tim!

Highly recommend Tim and his gang. After trying numerous other companies I was feeling rather underwhelmed by their advice and knowledge of Air Source Heat Pumps. But one more google search led me to Kent Heat Pumps. As soon as I met Tim I knew I was in safe hands. Installation was very smooth, the team knew exactly what they were doing and quietly got on with it. Now feeling toasty warm with the UFH and the system is working perfectly! Cannot recommend this company enough. If only everything was this easy!

Am very impressed with our new heat pump , hot water and solar panels. Tim and the crew all did a splendid job and we can’t thank them enough. At the moment while the sun is shining we are getting more than enough power to fill our needs plus sell back to the grid after our batteries are fully charged. I am hoping that we also get a nice warm house with maybe a little power to spare in the winter , time will tell . I would thoroughly recommend East Kent Heat Pumps. Tim, the owner of the company, overseas all the work with his competent team. I recently had a full system installed of pressurized water radiator heating, with solar panels, battery, storage, and air source heat pump. Tim‘s team offered the full range of expertise to install all of this, including the control systems, and improvements in the draft proofing and insulation of the house. Tim and his team have provided excellent follow-up support once the installation was complete. Very trustworthy company, which I would use again and recommend to friends

Tim and team did an exceptional job replacing our oil boiler and hot water cylinder with a Riello air source heat pump and new hot water cylinder. Of the several quotes we received, Tim was the only person who went through the effort of completing a full heat loss survey of our home on the first visit. His thoroughness reassured us, and gave us confidence in his proposed approach. On the week of the install, the team were great contractors to have at our home. They were neat and tidy (despite having to dig in Sussex clay!) and were happy to explain what was being done and why, and took into account our needs. Their attention to detail was very high, and things such as the neatness of the internal pipe work and quality of the insulation (properly mitred joints) gives us confidence in all the bits we can't see! Our heat pump is working really well and we are very impressed. They installed a Homely Energy controller, and once we quickly learned to trust it (it works out the best times to run the heat pump, at the lowest possible heat output for maximum efficiency, which might be when you don't expect it to be running), during the final cold spells of early spring our home was warm and toasty, using less energy (£ electricity vs £ oil) than before. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kent Heat Pumps to others.

Tim's team were wonderful from the start to the finish. Tim was exceptionally helpful in taking us through the process and guiding us at every step in installing our heat pump system. The system is so efficient and quiet and was so professionally installed with so little disruption and with such attention to neatness. The Homely system that came with it has been fantastic and such good advice from Tim's team. We could not recommend them highly enough.

Excellent advice from Tim lead to us getting our replacement heat pump installed swiftly and efficiently. We have been very happy with the service received from quote to installation. Kent Heat Pumps did an excellent job replacing our old oil fuelled system. I was a little worried that a heat pump might not be up to the job in our very old house but it has turned out to be an improvement. The friendly team from KHP were highly professional and responsive to customer concerns. Highly recommended!

Our heat pump has only recently been installed but is working very well and as expected. The engineers were business like, thoughtful and tidy and left us with the plumbing and general appearance better than we expected.

Tim and Marco have been the absolute best. Despite having a vulnerable mum with no hot water or heating in the run up to Christmas I was struggling to find a company, including some of the big name, to come and do the work to restore heat to her home. Tim stepped up and attended during the festive holidays and he and Marco came and did an excellent job. They were brilliant all the way through from booking to clearing up. Highly recommended.

Tim and his team installed an air source heat pump recently at our house. Throughout the whole process I couldn't fault their professionalism and Tim was so helpful from beginning to end (answering all my questions). They did a great job.

We contacted several companies to do a visit for the supply and installation of a heat pump. Only 3 came back to us. By far the most impressive of these was Kent Heat Pumps. Most firms seem to charge several hundred pounds for a heat loss survey and give a credit against the installation. If getting 3 quotes this becomes really expensive. Tim from Kent Heat Pumps automatically did a heat loss survey on his first visit without asking and there was no charge. We were also impressed with Tim's many years of experience in the industry, and he gave us much invaluable advice. Kent Heat Pumps also deal with a very wide range of manufacturers and so are able to recommend almost any make and model. This was especially important to us as we had special requirements. The heat pump is due to go in next month. However, in the meantime we've got Kent Heat Pumps to replace the air conditioning in our bedroom and install it in the lounge. Our old bedroom unit was very noisy but the new unit is whisper quiet. The new unit in the lounge doesn't look like an air conditioner, and indeed visitors have mistaken it for a high level speaker. Additionally, no pipework is visible at all. Tim had spent some time in working out the best position for the unit in the lounge and the minimally invasive route for the pipework in our cottage. The installation went very smoothly and Gary and his team were both efficient and friendly. Everything was cleared up perfectly at the end of the job. To sum up, we can't recommend Kent Heat Pumps enough.

We contacted Kent Heat Pumps to give some advice on an existing and ageing Samsung ASHP which was 12 years old. We inherited this on moving in to our new home and found It had not been maintained properly by the previous installer. Tim came and advised us he could service it and get another few years out of it if we wanted to - or replace with a new unit. Tim was very pragmatic and took the time to explain our options with no hard sell and we decided to replace with a new unit that was much quieter in operation and also more efficient. The new Samsung unit is great - extremely quiet in operation and much more efficient than the old unit. The quote was competitive, the installation on time as promised and the end result is fantastic. Tim’s installation team were very friendly and accommodating - quality of workmanship and the attention to detail was outstanding. And they also tackled a couple of other items for us while they were here. Highly recommended!

Tim was the only installer who did the proper heat calculations for our house without jumping to a quote. He also provided helpful advice (DIY and government grant process) through the whole process. His team members were also pleasant and helpful. Our system has been running for a month and works very well. We are happy customers and would use again.

After struggling for four weeks in the cold and trial and error on other companies, we found Tim as the only Samsung air source heat pump specialist in Kent. He responded straight away and came out to us the very same day to diagnose. Tim gave us knowledgeable, honest, and professional advice and the quote for the work came through prompltly the next day. In my quest for a local installer of Air Source Heat Pumps, I rejected several general quotes before any surveys. I also rejected a national energy supplier who completed a full onsite survey, but who lost the plot when they proposed an ASHP that was much smaller than their proposed radiator output. On checking the MCS website I found Tim and Kent Heat Pumps just down the road from me. How could I have missed that! In 4 days, over a Bank Holiday weekend, I made contact, met Tim when he completed a detailed survey, received his quotation and accepted it. I knew from the start that I had found an expert and his figures and quote matched my expectations. There was no pressure, no hard sell. It was, as they say, a no-brainer. The installation took 5 days: 4 radiator changes, a new Hot Water Cylinder, changes to some plumbing and the installation of the ASHP itself. The friendliest and most professional team of 4 worked their socks off to install a system which is now keeping us more comfortable than we ever were in 38 years of oil-fired heating.

We found Tim East from Kent Heat Pumps via the ground source heat pump website. Out of five companies I emailed, he was one of only three to answer and the only one to bother to come out in person. That attention and reliability has persisted: Tim and his team have now installed our ground source heat pump and we are delighted with the way that they have all conducted both themselves and the installation. It has been a pleasure! Tim continues to advise on many aspects of our project and is soon to start installing underfloor heating. We are confident in his abilities, his advice and his integrity, and quite honestly feel that we have landed on our feet in finding him.
