Phil installed a water softener in our home and what a cracking job he did also. Quality workmanship and you wouldn't have know he was here, as he left the work area spotless. I would highly recommend CHG South West Ltd. Alan and Eve.

CHG has carried out a lot of work for us over the last year from resolving simple leaks through to laying a new water main. They are always the first company we ring and the one we prefer for anything plumbing or central heating related. 100% reliable.

Excellent service. From first contact, everything has been smooth and the guys have all gone over and beyond. I think I may have dealt with everyone at CHG whilst they installed our new Air Source Pump, Hot water supply and water softener installed and each and every one of them have not only been super professional and knowledgeable but also happy to do things slightly outside of scope, to make the project 100% complete. They are also really nice people to have around. If I had to do this again (which I hope not to :) ), I would work with CHG every single time. We are now warm and have excellent hot water and super water pressure! 6 Stars.

Had a water softener service after moving in and also a complete re plumbing of the utility room including electrical work to the oil boiler. Had three different specialists for each job and each one was excellent. Arrived on time, polite and very efficient, work carried out to a great standard. I will use this company again, very easy to deal with and friendly and knowledgeable ladies in the office to help. I would highly recommend this company.

MY Boiler wasn't firing up and I had guests arriving the following day. I phoned CHG because I have a Boiler plan with them. I Explained my problem they had someone out within 2 hours. They found the fault the safety overheat button had popped out to protect the boiler from overheating. After some more checks to see why it had happened he found a senser not in the correct place return it to its correct position. All mended and working again within the hour. Panic over. Thanks CHG.

Had a pinhole leak in a mains pipe, discovered on Friday evening. Rang CHG on Saturday morning and the lovely James was at my property by mid-afternoon. He located and repaired the leak within the hour, minimal fuss. Professional, polite, respectful and friendly. The bill was fair given the urgent nature of the repair. Would use again

After being a loyal CHG customer for many years they have just tried to shaft me into unecessarily replacing a macerating toilet at a cost to me of more than £1000. Their 'so called' expert service engineer that they sent out at double the normal call out price, did not even examine the pump, let alone take it apart to see if there might be a blockage He just listened to my description of the problem & left here after less than 5 mins. The following CHG quote for full replacement of macerating pump plus an an estimate of possibly a full days work @£60+vat/hr( with a two week delay due to lack of staff ) followed. I called out a genuine 'saniflo' engineer,who has just left here having repaired a simple blockage caused by a wet wipe at a total cost to me £150 + vat. As soon as he examined the pump he found it.

Very impressed with the service we have received so far. Inspections have been done on a property we are hoping to purchase. The results were clearly explained and hopefully when the sale is completed the remedial work will be carried out with the same efficiency

We needed to replace our boiler and decided to change its location from our kitchen to an outside area. The price was fair in relation to the amount of work that needed to be done (engineers, brickwork, plumbing, electrical). I also genuinely felt like the team wanted to do a good job - as indicated by the initial planning and talking to us as the customers about decisions that could impact how we utilise the new kitchen space, or, side of our property. Overall very happy with everyone - great admin, management, and operational team. Thanks everyone.

Very simple this, just fantastic from the start when we had an initial quote with Michael for an air source heat pump, through to the slick and quick and hugely professional installation led by Harry and the team. Couldn't be happier with the process and so far everything is working really well too. Everyone in the team was kind, chatty, helpful and highly skilled. Thank you all at CHG!

Professional, knowledgeable, helpful, tidy, I could go on. I've been a customer of CHG South West Ltd for many years and have had two Vaillant boilers fitted by them in two houses and can't praise the level of service provided enough. Their electrical division was a unexpected discovery and equally helpful. For me it's simply a question of "why go anywhere else?" Perhaps I should also add that I'm not connected to the company in any way.

Have been using CHG since I moved to Bridport 13 years ago. They always come quickly when I make an emergency call. They fitted a new boiler promptly, during a Winter breakdown. Always courteous, feel safe with their engineers in my home, as a lone woman!! Prices are fair. Would use no other!!!

Following a thorough boiler service, the engineers found a pressure drop differential between the incoming gas meter and the boiler in the loft. After exploring all possible reasons, a random change in the size of copper pipe behind a tricky to access bath panel was found to be the issue. The engineers Mike had to access a confined space above the kitchen to change the copper piping. He did all of this to complete the service and to meet gas safe regs. After 5 hours or so the job was done. I cannot recommend CHG highly enough, and in particular the engineer Mike (don’t know his surname). Great service! Thank you.

CHG South West performed an excellent repair to my boiler. I had no central heating or hot water for a few days while they obtained replacement parts but I asked them to treat the repair as urgent, which they did. Very happy with the service.

I had a heat pump, water filter, and solar panels installed, along with a significant amount of additional plumbing and electrical work. From start to finish, everyone in the team has been friendly, knowledgeable and given an outstanding quality of service. There is also great peace of mind in terms of any follow-up support needed - they respond quickly and are always happy to help. CHG are a fantastic company and I recommend them without hesitation. I have plenty more work on the horizon and I won't think twice about using them again - thank you!
