Rip offs!

I dont usually leave reviews but felt I needed to with this company. I booked with them after they emailed to say they were in the area and we needed a service doing. Wish I hadn't wasted my money. They came and diagnosed a few minor repairs then hit us with a ridiculously high quote for the works. I spoke with a friend who is training for their G3 certificate and got a 3rd opinion with another company. Both said the quoted repairs did not make sense and after checking for themselves said that the majority of the works quoted did not need doing and the ones that did were cheap, quick jobs not the £1000 I was quoted! We ended up getting the repairs done for 85% less than this company quoted and on top of that I was told that the service should have include cleaning of filters etc but when the new company I used came out they said it didnt appear that anything had been cleaned as there was still green algae etc in the unit. Definitely would not recommend these rip-offs.

Jordan was prompt and professional. His knowledge far exceeded my expectations, and he communicated clearly throughout the job, helping me understand exactly what was taking place. He thoroughly checked the appliance and rectified the issue I was experiencing. Since then, I’ve noticed a significant positive change in my household energy consumption. I will definitely be recommending the company to others.

The search is finally over for a heat pump engineer!

We had our heat pump serviced by Energie Solutions, and the entire experience was excellent. The office staff—especially Jackie—was extremely helpful, answering all our questions and sorting out quotes, even resolving issues with payment links. The engineer Jordan arrived promptly, did a thorough and efficient job, even found ways of saving us money on energy and provided a detailed report. Overall, a fantastic service—we’d be happy to use them again!

Great service from Energie helping us get our heat pump back on line remotely following a power outage. Really responsive and efficient, got us back up and running in minutes. We've only recently taken out a maintenance contract so I was really impressed with their response to a new customer.

I had an issue with the underfloor heating in my house (running off a heat pump) after moving into a new build last summer. I contacted a few other places in London first but nobody could help, so I was really relieved to find Energie Solutions. They were professional, knowledgeable, and quickly got to the root of the problem. Nigel was excellent — very patient and took the time to explain everything clearly. You could also tell they put a huge amount of effort into the job and genuinely cared about getting everything working properly. Fantastic service from start to finish — highly recommended.

Booked a service, no one turned up

Booked a service. Told on the morning of the service that the engineer called in sick so rearranged for the afternoon. Waited in and no one turned up or contacted me. Very poor service and communication. Update on this review. Unfortunately, I have no missed call or voicemail recorded on the date of the appointment. Interesting, also that it has taken the business 3 months to respond to the review.

Engineer came to service heat pump, drove a good distance from Essex to Bedfordshire, and was helpful with questions and sharing his knowledge, friendly, demonstrative with issues, and generally a great person. Have had issues with other companies not prepared to support older heat pumps, but this company was helpful, supportive and able to assist where others were not

Helped me when the original installer isn’t!

I received a letter several months ago offering a service on my heatpump. I kept the letter for future use as I had my installer service the system. Now there is an issue with my pump and the original installer isn’t interested in helping. I phoned Energie and explained the problem. The helpful lady managed to send one of their engineers out the same afternoon. They diagnosed the problem as it was a faulty diverter. Now I’m back up and running and warm again. I shall be using you for my annual service from now on!

Carried out my heat pump service…

Carried out my heat pump service yesterday. I have a Daikin heat pump and for the last few years I've had Daikin themselves service the unit. I received a letter from energies solutions that they were carrying out a service at my neighbours. I'm really impressed. They were here for almost 2 hours and the service report documentation I received within a few moments of them leaving my property was so detailed. Far more detailed than what I was expecting and used to. Would certainly recommend.

Energie Solutions have been looking after us for over four years and have twice rescued us! Once by completely overhauling our poorly installed heat pump and just last week installing a new hot water cylinder that had leaked through the ceiling whilst we were away. The admin team were so efficient analysing the problem and the engineers were brilliant fitting the new one leaving everything so tidy. The engineers you send are always so friendly and helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending Energie Solutions. FIRST CLASS

I called Energie Solutions Ltd as my air source heat pump wasn't working after turning on the heating after the summer. I called late on a Friday and someone got back to me early on the Monday. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable over the phone and very understanding of my urgency. Even though they couldn't send an engineer out for a week, they very kindly shared a helpful video to see if we could get it working ourselves in the meantime. Thankfully we were able to fix it with the video and learnt something new about our heat pump! I'll definitely be using their services in the future.

Had the amazing Jordan round that not…

Had the amazing Jordan round that not only serviced my Mitsubishi heatpump but also showed me how to use it. Turns out the developers installer hadn’t set it up properly at all which could have cost me thousands extra in running costs and unnecessary additional wear and tear. Thank you very much. Looking forward to being warm this winter.

Daikin

I have been using Energie Solutions for 3 years now to service my heat source pump. I have a Daikin heatpump. The engineer has just left after being here for almost 2 hours. I would recommend this company to anyone with a heatpump. They are professional, knowledgeable and very efficient. All the way through from initially contacting them and then each year. They answer the phone, the paperwork is excellent. I’m joining a service plan with them now. Many thanks again! Rose and John

Just had my Samsung heatpump serviced

Just had my Samsung heatpump serviced. This company have provided a far better service than we have ever had. You certainly do get what you pay for ! Was here for 1.5 hours and then have provided a in depth report. I had a few questions which the engineer answered in depth. Other companies I have used in the past have been here no longer than 25 minutes. Will certainly be using again and most def recommend.

We have an LG heatpump which was installed on a new build house we purchased. The house is 3 years old and we have had no end of problems with the house and heating system. The development company are completely useless, the original installers clearly don’t know what they are doing and keep saying that there is nothing wrong. We have also had another company involved that agreed it looked like something was wrong but didn’t come back to fix it for us. Then two weeks ago we called Energie solutions and thank goodness we did! One of their engineers visited and within 30 mins knew what the problem was. They were back a few days later with the new pcb board. They provided me with a list of things that don’t meet current regulations which I will be taking to the builder. I am hoping one of their service plans now and have told all our neighbours, it turns out we are not the only ones having issues! Thank you so much. Kirst & James

Managed to get a second opinion from a reputable company who physically showed me that my cold water tanks were fine, and that the fluid was fine (and just needed some air removed). At a quarter of the price, I was back up and running, albeit having lost a month of usage at the peak of summer. After complaining, Energie Solutions did investigate (and did communicate), but stood by their diagnosis and did not offer any type of refund. The icing on the cake was trying to encourage me not to leave a Google review! Clearly, this company has some good reviews, so if you're considering them, I'd just suggest you just get multiple quotes (including follow up rates) and opinions before proceeding.

After several failed attempts by another company to fix our solar system, we called Energie Solutions who had diagnosed the problem within ten minutes and repaired it the same day. Jordan was extremely polite and tidy. He kept us informed of what he was doing throughout the process. The after service from Nigel and his team has been absolutely fantastic. They were priced very reasonably. Would always recommend.

Without prejudice. I contacted Energie solutions for a service quotation on my Solar panels, and Solar PV, They provided quote for £162.75 twice plus VAT total of £294 .00 Payable up front. When they came Two people went around taking pictures of everything. I advised there was a small leak on one of the valves. they attempted to sort it then advised they didn't have the correct spanner. sent me my report having done nothing in the way of a service . and the leak worse than when they came. they said they would provide me a quotation for remedial works. which duly came to drain the system down new pump if it was needed, nothing about fixing the leak. price £919.26 including VAT 5% . at the time they were here i asked how long it would take advised 2.3 hours. I phoned to ask why it was so expensive and nothing about fixing the leak. and was told that's the charge best price. the moral here be sure what your getting for the quote and shop around. I have had the Leak repaired and a full system drain and refilled for half that price. I understand how it may have worked for others but unfortunately it didn't for us. end

Many thanks to the whole Energie Solutions team! Having had an ASHP system installed incorrectly by another supplier, who then went bust, Energie Solutions not only helped with putting the system right on time and on budget, they picked up the process after Mitsubishi stood back from helping and even supported us in dealing with the even less helpful warranty insurer (IWA) to make sure that they paid the related claim. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and indeed have taken up a service plan. Mr G Bramford, Suffolk

Excellent efficient service from all involved. Easy to book convenient appointment for the remedial work which was carried out to a high standard with full explanation and no mess. We finally have a quiet heat pump system thanks to a knowledgeable engineer - thanks!

Excellent experience with Energie - would definitely recommend. Recently had my air source heat pump serviced and identified some remedial work to improve operation. Jordan, the engineer, did a great job fixing the system, which is now much quieter. Good communication with the helpful admin team too & have signed up for the service plan.

Exceptional! Our Air pump heating system kept blowing the electric box. On recommendation I contacted the company and spoke to Nigel. An engineer was dispatched and Jordan arrived the following morning. He identified that we required a replacement fan motor. This bit took longer than it should due to the inefficiency of the makers and suppliers. I know from previous experience that they are notorious. Doggedly Nigel kept on their case giving regular updates. It turned out they actually had the part in stock (but didn't know it!) Once this had been established Nigel dispatched Jordan a few days later and he fitted the part. I now working perfectly again. Surprisingly, given the Government policy of promoting air-source and ground-source as the way forward for all new homes, there are very technicians able to fix them. Additionally many of the suppliers go bust and change hands. Few local plumbers will touch them! Energie solutions successfully navigated us through all of this and I am in the process of taking out their maintenance plan. In addition to Nigel and Jordan, Claudette who I spoke to today was equally helpful. A really top team. I cant rate them highly enough, friendly and hugely efficient.

Very professional and told us exactly what they done

I had my heat pump serviced by Energie Solutions. Very happy with the whole journey from the booking ( I rang the office number ) to the service by very nice and knowledgeable engineer who answered all my questions about my system. I even received very detailed report from the service soon after engineer completed the service.

Energie solutions came out to my daughter's house in Norfolk. Lewis the engineer arrived and was very professional and a credit to the company. A very good technician, knowledgeable and a very nice guy. I have told my daughter and son in law how good the service is and in the future use your company. Being a retired self employed person I appreciate brilliant service and customer care. Thank you Simon

Very impressed with the level of service we received from Nigel and his team both in the office and on the road. Despite living in Norfolk coming out to visit us was never a problem and from the time we ordered our new replacement ASHP, we where kept in the picture re progress of our order. Fitting was quick and painless and just two days after installation started, we were up and running. So impressed with the service we received re the installation we have even taken out a service contract with them. Once again thanks to all at Energie Solutions.

Just had a complete PV Solar system…

Just had a complete PV Solar system fitted with a 9KW battery, having shopped around I found the price to be fair and felt confident and reassured bt the knowledge of those I spoke to. I would be happy to recommend energie solutions to anyone in the future.

We bought this eco-house four years ago.It was heated by an air source pump. The system was not working well and we tried to contact the original suppliers, but they had disappeared. We found Energie Solutions on the web sight and Nigel came straight out. He got it working and it worked well for three years. A year ago we decided to upgrade the system and following Nigel's recommendations we installed a new heating unit and an up to date thermostat system. The whole system is working perfectly. Our electricity costs have fallen considerably. I would not hesitate to recommend Energy Solutions. Their service is fantastic.

Great service from a knowledgeable team

It is difficult to find companies with the skills and experience necessary to service and repair ASHPs frequently when looking for suitable companies the people I spoke with were not interested in the work so it was a breath of fresh air to find Nigel and the team at Energie Solutions who were knowledgeable and talked through all the options for my unit. First rate service from Owen and Jack who came out to fit repair a fault and also to correct issues which had been present since the unit had been originally installed by the builder and their plumbers. So pleased with the service have taken out a service plan highly recommended

Avoid…

Nigel from Energie Solutions visited my property to diagnose a problem I paid for repair. However, he failed to accurately diagnose it. Additionally, he charged me for asking questions and was frequently on the phone during his work. I would not recommend his services and advise avoiding him at all costs.

Annual Heating System Service

We booked our annual heating system service and promptly received a confirmation email with quotation attached. Dan the heating engineer turned up on time and a nicer more polite man I am yet to meet. He set about his work and answered all my questions knowledgeably and professionally. He adjusted our 'complicated' time clocks to suit our situation. He left but not before explaining all the tests and processes he had undertaken. I shall recommend Energie Solutions to the other residents in our small complex.

Had an issue with my Samsun air source…

Had an issue with my Samsun air source pump. Original install completely rubbish. Phoned Energie solutions yesterday they came out same day and diagnosed problem. Today came back with part. I now have heating! Excellent. Will use them again and would certainly recommend.

I first used this company to install my Air source heat pump following other local companies in Suffolk and Essex failure to fulfill their commitments, since then I have Energie Solutions to complete my annual service. Nigel and Claudette and their team are very professional in all they do, the engineers came yesterday for my annual service, arrived at the time they said, carried out my service explained what they had done and what was required and would fully recommend them to any of my friends and neighbours. See you next year carry on the excellent service.

Nigel has come to look at my Heat Pump…

Nigel has come to look at my Heat Pump on a couple of occasions. In an emergency it's hard to find someone who can come quickly. However, there's a catch. Nigel always seems to say that more work is needed - usually at a vastly inflated price. I was quoted several hundred pounds for a part that cost me £30 on Ebay, and took me 45 mins to install myself (after watching a YouTube video). I'm tired of being conned, so now I'm looking elsewhere for my servicing. Not recommended unless you want to be fleeced.

After struggling to find a company that…

After struggling to find a company that would touch an Air source heat pump system that they didn't install I can across this one, checked them out on their FB page and thought I would give them a go, came round for a service as unit two wasn't supplying heat, after service unit one stopped working and the back up immersion stopped working, pump was set on wrong speed, temperature sensor removed and left hanging and the entire system kept tripping out, then was quoted £1200 for a new pump and pcb plus labour and diagnostics, with a disclaimer saying this may not fix the issue. Hooky at best, Claudette Day is the chief officer with Nigel Day the engineer, company house check shows he was an electrician and the previous business went into liquidation........ Asked for a service report on the work already carried out......... No doubt it'll get lost in the post.

I contacted energiesolutions because I had been experiencing a problem with my ASHP system. The system is 3 years old and has been working perfectly for the first two and a half years. The system was showing an E912 fault, which I understand to be a flow switch problem. When contacted Energiesolutions stated they could certainly help me with the problem and the cost to diagnose would be 252.00 inc Vat. I arranged for Nigel to call and he spent an hour or so looking over the system but was unable to rectify the fault and at the same time, disconnected a thermostat which was left hanging by its cable. He then said he would provide a diagnosis and quotation to solve the problem. After several emails and nearly 3 weeks later I received the quotation for 5046.00 including Vat to repair the fault. This was for a system that had been working fine and only 3 years old? The quotation also stated: 'Whilst we are suggesting this work be carried out we do not guarantee this work will resolve the current issues and will not be held liable.' I cannot believe that they are expecting me to pay over 5000.00 to fix a fault that they will then not take any responsibility for in the future. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
