Mark gave us great upfront advice and made the process easy, while Chris was brilliant during the fit—he installed the boiler and Hive system quickly and left the house spotless. Amazingly friendly and helpful service from beginning through to after care. Work carried out was so good that other tradespeople who have come have commented on the impeccable work. The two lads who came (Chris and Chris) were so good at what they do that they even cleaned up the garage to a point that it was cleaner when they left than it was before they started!

Excellent service from Clever Energy. James Nicolas in sales was clear and professional throughout. Mamrez Hussain was very helpful in explaining the warranty and aftercare, which gave me real peace of mind. The installation engineer was also highly professional and completed the work to a great standard. The boiler is working perfectly and the £108 annual service offer feels fair and reassuring. I would definitely recommend them.

Unable to get an email quotation from this company. They seem to insist on phone contact. Maybe they think that bullshit baffles brains, in the digital age.

My boiler started leaking Saturday was told person would come Monday. When I rang no appointment made so they came out Tuesday I thought to repair as the leak on my 2yrs old. But no just to order a part now having to wait n presure on boiler now need topping every 3hrs. N still waiting to be repaired. I'm not happy

Impressed with Sales/Surveyor on his visit and we quickly determined that we had found the company we could do business with. Once price agreed installation for our new boiler was organised for the day after. The install engineer arrived bright and early and went about the install immediately and the whole thing was completed in good time with all packaging taken away. We were particularly impressed with our engineer as he kept us informed regularly and went the extra mile in explaining all issues relating to the install. We can strongly recommend the company.

Excellent company. I’d had a very bad installation which Cleaver Energy came and provided me with the service of the system and full report. They then quickly and professionally rectified everything. My system is now safe and running well. Highly recommend this business.

In May 2024 Clever Energy installed solar panels, battery, electric car charger, and an air source heat pump. The system has worked very smoothly and I am enjoying the reduction in my electricity bills. However 3 months ago I lost my link with the "Give Energy" App that gave me information about how the solar panels were performing and how much energy was being exported. I was having real difficulties reconnecting with the "Give Energy" App so I contacted Chris of the Clever Enrgy support team to ask for advice. He gave me details of a contact point at Give Energy and sent them a request asking them to try and help obtain a reconnection to their App. I am pleased to say that communication has been restored and the information is flowing back to me. Having researched the Internet and then several individual Companies, it became very clear that Clever Energy Boilers pricing was very competitive. Arranging the installation was straight forward and very quick i.e. 3 days. The Engineer completed the work in less than a day. I had a question the next day; rang the Company who in turn, spoke the the Engineer, who comprehensively answered my question. I would unreservedly recommend this Company.

During the recent cold/freezing weather, my central heating required the attention of several engineers from Hinckley Plumbing and Heating services Ltd.They cleared several faults including the final fix of replacing the control PCB.At all times they were courteous and caring, and well supported by the admin staff , Alison and Alex, and the engineers Rob, Andy and Alex. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and team of skilled people based in the Hinckley office for their professional and caring attitude, and high level of skills.

My boiler broke down on the 22nd…

My boiler broke down on the 22nd December, great timing! Anyway, we got through Xmas and we made contact with Rachael & James! Great communication from them both and nothing was ever a problem. We had Ben and Tom on the day of installation and they were both great too. Really clean and tidy workers, you would not know they had been and all the gear and pipes etc. Heating has been the best since installation. Pricing wise, these guys were great and the service we got I feel like we had a right bargain with them. If you need a new boiler, please consider these guys, as they were so good.

If I could give less I absolutely would, firstly we had the team out whom decided they weren’t able to complete the job until we moved where the boiler was going, we was advised to block up a window which we ended up doing for the ease of them fitting our new combi boiler. When the second engineer finally arrived after vehicle breakdowns and delays. He came in expressing he was sent to do a two man job alone for the second time that week so he would be at the property for the entire day and we would be without heating and water for this entire time with a disabled child. They damaged our property and tried to advise they had our permission, to rip out our kitchen cupboards and throw the contents on the floor in the process. We are left with a scratched tumble dryer, water damage to the hallway wall where the water tank was removed. And left to clean up due to him finishing at 6:30 and having 2 hours to get home again mentioned multiple times making it very obvious we were an inconvenience. To find pipework was placed in the wrong spot causing issues in the house to which they have now been and rectified after advising they would do us a favour and move it ! The complaint has been going on since October being ignored by both a manager and director they got accounts to basically offer compensation, After months I have given up there customer service is just as awful as there engineers. When you have your first call they are amazing but I promise you now it would be the worst mistake to allow this company into you home.

Appalling service we are still left 6 months down the line with no heating. Radiators that don’t work. We had these people out they quoted new boiler an 1st and 2nd fix, they rang a few days later to say they had mid priced and charged more which we agreed. Half way through the job they rang to Say they had only priced for 9 radiators , however the plumbers Chris and Chris had piped in 11 that was agreed. We then had a phone call saying that they were running at a loss with this job, by this time we only owed them £1,000. When it came to the second fix they argued that they didn’t quote for 11 rads. They did !!! My husband and I walked round with the surveyor and showed him all the rooms and he counted 11. My husband rang them to ask them when they were coming back as do I , I myself made 7 phone calls no one called me back. This went on for a good 2 months. Absolute joke of a company. Avoid at all costs. Read the reviews past 4 months ago and you will See why!!!…….. in responce to the owners responce. If you’d have responded to your phone calls and been open and honest this would have been avoided, not once did you call us back or relayed that we needed to pay more money after the initial price hike before you started works. All you said was that you were running at a loss that your surveyor priced wrongly. A proper company prices correctly and responds to customers calls . You are all a joke and best avoided .

Can't recommend this company enough. Came in mid-range of the quotes we got; the team were very friendly and professional from our initial contact with James through to the engineer who did a great job installing the new boiler and additional radiator. Excellent aftercare from James as well.
