Really praise Heatable for great…

Really praise Heatable for great service.Old boiler packed up and all process from ordering to install was fast.Communication and updates regards install were great.A big thank you to Ashley who did great job with boiler install. On time,found gas leak that wasnt picked up 3 weeks before during boiler service by other company.New boiler runs as it should.Follow up call after install were nice touch.All registrations etc will be done by Heatable. Would use them again.Thx

Easy to obtain a quote and installed in no time.

Easy to obtain a quote, all done online by answering a few questions. All booked within a couple of days for the installation. Robert, our gas engineer was really professional. He gave us a guaranteed time for completion and it was all done as promised. Heatable - easy company to work with - no issues. Would definitely recommend them.

It’s been a very easy and confidence inspiring experience. The sales team (including their YouTube videos) were helpful and informative, and able to pitch the technical to a level appropriate to me. The installation team took the time to listen to my requests and made every effort to make my system look great and match with its surrounding. Really friendly and stayed until I was happy everything was working. Personally cannot find anything to fault and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and use again in the future.

Poor workmanship, water leaks and incompetance

One week after the initial installation of my new boiler, I discovered water leaking through the bathroom light fitting. Upon investigation, I found that a pipe installed by Heatable had been kinked and split in multiple places, causing water to leak throughout my loft and through the ceiling. This pipe was clearly installed in a damaged state, unacceptable condition that should never have passed any reasonable standard of workmanship. I reported this to Heatable immediately but received no response, forcing me to contact the plumber directly. He replaced the pipe, but did not test the system afterwards. The following morning, I awoke to another leak, this time in the airing cupboard, leaking through the ceiling, due to the replacement pipe being fitted incorrectly and without reasonable care. The second issue was eventually fixed, however the next day my boiler stopped working entirely. I contacted Heatable, and a Worcester Bosch engineer attended. He identified that the condensate pump had failed, likely because the condensate pipe had not been installed correctly. As the pump was not a Worcester Bosch part, he was unable to repair it and informed me that Heatable would send another plumber to replace it. The plumber who attended the next day had not been informed about the faulty pump, arrived without the required part, and was unable to carry out any repair. He told me a replacement pump would be ordered and fitted within a few days. After waiting over a week for Heatable to get back to me I was then informed that it'll be another week before it will be replaced. They then told me that my boiler itself was not installed correctly due to insufficient clearance, meaning the boiler now needs to be removed completely removed and refitted!!! This is yet another example of their complete lack of competence and quality control throughout this process. A few days after the boiler was reinstalled, I had a major leak from the isolation valve they had installed, causing a leak though the ceiling in my lounge again. After contacting Heatable they told me they were unable to send out an engineer for 3 days. This meant I was left without water for 3 days as I had to turn the water off at the mains supply to stop my house being flooded. In summary I have had the following issues with them. Multiple water leaks causing damage to my loft, ceilings, and bathroom light fitting Repeated failures of basic workmanship Significant disruption, inconvenience, and time spent chasing rectification A boiler installation that had to be completely reinstalled A property without a fully functioning boiler or condensate pump No water in the property for 3 days to stop significant damage being done to my property. I have emailed Heatable with a formal complaint months ago and they haven't bothered to respond to me.

Russell did a great job. Moving the boiler to new location is challenging better is to ask engineer to have a look before making any decision as it can cost extra.

Alpha ESS G3 14.4KwH Battery only install- Heatable made for what is a complex area a very smooth process. Battery ordered and installed within 2 weeks. Kept me informed throughout the process with initial call with technical expert to ensure right system and upgrade the size of inverter , G99 application and a video survey before installation by a subcontractor who was very professional and carried out a clean install. Alpha ESS G3 Battery already saving me money from day1 using cheap rate tariff overnight . Has a great user friendly app. Highly recommend Heatable

Generally really happy with Heatable

We used Heatable for our solar panel installation. Paul responded to our questions super quickly, was flexible in terms of discussing various setups, Heatable offered good value for money. Rea panels (produced in Australia so no forced labour concerns) and used a great local installer to install. Our only criticism would be when the local installer came out to survey the work, they proposed a change to the design, which was not really explained to us, which led to a lot of questions. Would definitely recommend Heatable though.

My 22-year-old boiler was condemned…

My 22-year-old boiler was condemned during a routine service, and after receiving a very high replacement quote elsewhere, I searched online and found that Heatable installed the mid-range boiler I was interested in. When installation day arrived, the experience was excellent. Chris was incredibly friendly, professional and efficient, and the work was carried out smoothly and to a high standard. The only reason I deducted a star is because the e-survey had a technical malfunction, which delayed the purchase and installation booking process. Unfortunately, this meant I was without hot water or heating for longer than I would have liked. That said, once everything was scheduled, the installation itself was handled very well and I’m pleased with the result.

Boiler installation left a working radiator non-functional. I was told it needed replacing, but after weeks of chasing, the engineer returned and fixed it in 15 minutes — raising concerns that unnecessary work had been suggested. Communication was slow, I had to chase repeatedly, and statutory paperwork only arrived after prompting. In addition, a boiler installed at another property a couple of years ago has already developed a fault requiring new parts. Very disappointing aftercare. I would welcome a proper response from Heatable.

Disgusting service and what a waste of money spent on a boiler. They don’t give a crap once they take your money from you. Had boiler fitted 4 weeks ago now and still have no heating as they won’t fix the problem. Asked to get a new heat pump got the fitted and now coming up with FD code. They won’t help at all. Avoid altogether. Absolute rubbish company and would never recommend. Staff are so rude and never want to help. Think I have phoned them at least 30 times to try get this sorted and they won’t do anything. And saying I need to sort this out myself!

Following an new boiler installation from Heatabke a pipe was leaking, causing significant water damage to our ceiling and leaving us with no heating or hot water for 3 days, it took 3 days to get this repaired and we had to pay for an emergency plumber to come out to repair this leak before the original installers could come back which cost £400. When I have phoned to discuss the issue there was no response after leaving three callback messages and emailing customer service. Very unhappy and would not recommend in future, once they have taken your money they don’t seem to be too bothered with any further issues, even if their installers caused the issues and also leaving the customer to foot the bill of their poor service.

Great experience, I was nervous using an online retailer for something as important as a boiler but I need not have worried. Competitive price and good website, not much help in choosing but I knew what I wanted anyway. Easy to deal with all the way through, online booking and payment was simple, they even split the bill for me over 2 cards. Installation slots available in as little as a day although it suited me to be a few days later. Engineer - Ionut communicated well, arrived promptly, was knowledgeable, skilled and tidy. Installation was no issue. Up and running by mid afternoon. Overall great experience

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Heatable has been so stressful, costly, and disappointing that I feel it’s important to share for anyone considering using them. I purchased a boiler and installation package through Heatable. The boiler was fitted on a Saturday and, within just a few hours, it began repeatedly overheating and shutting itself down. We were left without a working heating system for six days, in November, with two small children in the house. The Heatable engineer initially believed the overheating was caused by air in the system and returned on the Monday to fit an automatic air release valve. Within 30 minutes of him leaving, the exact same problem occurred. He then suggested that our pressure canister must be faulty and sent me links to purchase a replacement for him to fit. I was not convinced, so Heatable arranged a Vaillant engineer visit under warranty. A Vaillant engineer attended on the Wednesday and confirmed that the installation had been carried out incorrectly — specifically: - No automatic bypass valve was fitted, despite this being required and clearly stated in the installation guidance; - Incorrect wiring had been used. Despite these findings, Heatable insisted on sending another engineer back. Given their poor workmanship and their failure to diagnose basic issues on multiple visits, I no longer felt comfortable allowing this. I instead used an independent Vaillant-recommended engineer to carry out the remedial work. He also found that our two-port valve had become jammed with red brick dust created during the installation. This made complete sense: after Heatable left, there was thick red dust all over the system, the carpets (now stained), and even our own hoover — which the engineers used to half-clean the mess because they had not brought their own equipment. The system and home were not protected during the installation, and this caused yet another fault we did not previously have. All the issues stemmed directly from Heatable’s workmanship, yet they offered only a partial reimbursement of the remedial costs, expecting me to cover the rest. I have now paid £555 in corrective work. Heatable have reimbursed only £320. Because they still refuse to issue a full refund, I am now having to pursue the remaining amount — along with compensation for the damage and disruption — through the Small Claims Court. In summary: - The installation was faulty. - Heatable’s engineers were unable to diagnose their own errors. - Additional damage was caused to both the heating system and my home. - Heatable have failed to take full responsibility. Based on this experience, I can only recommend avoiding Heatable at all costs.

I was very happy with the pre sale support, detailed insight, competetive price and install. However post install I still have havent recieved my warranty papers although advised it takes 6 weeks it has now been 3 months and despite chasing and being told it would be sent on the day another month later I still havent recieved anything. Also since the install of the boiler in a small 650 sq feet apartment where i have 6 radiators only, the heating heats up the first two radiators and then takes about an hour to heat the other 3. However 1 doesnt get hot at all. Despite contact heatable, the engineer who installed it directly and through heatable's website i have had no support on the matter which is really frustrating. I converted from system set up to combi boiler for a more eficient system with a more powerful boiler but have been worse of with the heating output so far.

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the recent cancellation of my boiler installation. Despite providing detailed photos and accurate measurements in advance, the subcontracted gas installer refused to proceed on arrival, citing insufficient clearance — 422 mm instead of the 450 mm required by Vaillant. This issue should have been identified well before the appointment was confirmed. The failure to do so resulted in a wasted visit and an unnecessary day off work, causing both inconvenience and loss of time. Furthermore, after the initial arrangements were made, there was no follow-up communication or phone call once the issue arose. The process has felt entirely sales-driven, with little regard for proper assessment, customer care, or accountability. This level of service is unacceptable 2 stars

After-Sales Review I was really happy with the purchase process and installation everything went smoothly, and I was initially very satisfied. However, after having the solar panels for 7 months, I’ve had a quality issue with the bird preventers they recommended. The stainless steel used appears to be of very low quality and has already started rusting. This is unacceptable and looks terrible. Their response was: “To remove it, first clean the area with soap and water, then apply a rust-removing paste made from baking soda and vinegar, or a commercial cleaner like Bar Keepers Friend or a phosphoric acid gel. Gently scrub the surface and then rinse and wipe thoroughly.” I don’t think this is an appropriate solution for a product that should have been made from a higher-grade stainless steel in the first place. Definitely do not recommend their bird preventers

The installation of my Combi Boiler was done extremely well. BUT, when I was asked to send the photos of my current system, cylinder, hot water tank and Mira Event XS Shower. I was told everything was OK to go and on the day the engineer turned up and checked everything and started straight away. 6 hours later, they finished and turned round to me and my disabled wife, saying there was a problem with the shower and they could not do it as it had not been accounted for in the price. Apparently my shower is not compatible with the combi boiler, so when the photos were checked and the engineer would have seen it before starting the conversion was I not told then? When I angrily complained I was told that I should have known that it would not work and mentioned it. I am no heating engineer and that comment was ridiculous. I have now been without my shower for a week and I have had to pay for another company to fix an issue that was my fault. So please ensure everything is correct before letting anyone in your home, because once they start you do not have any rights to complain and they ignore your request leave a disabled person without a shower for more than a week. AVOID AT ALL COST.

We had a solar/ battery installation with Heatable Sept 2023 and it’s been brilliant (despite UK sunshine). We’re surrounded by trees too, aligned with SE/NW roof, bifacial/microinverters as recommended been excellent. From early enquiries, they were patient, knowledgeable & helpful. Also, supplied best kit (became clearer later) for best price compared to 2x other recommended suppliers. They helped resolve feed-in tariff issue with local DNO several months after installation and just recently are calling in - for free - to rewire our EV charger so the home battery isn’t drained. Great service before, during & afterwards! Can’t recommend enough, great guys.

He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure the installation was carried out to a high standard. His helpful attitude and attention to detail gave me confidence throughout the process. I would definitely recommend M E Boiler to anyone looking for reliable and professional service.

Absolutely Disgraceful Service – Stay Away! I booked with Heatable based on their promise of next day installation – a complete lie. It’s now been 5 days, and no one has turned up. I’ve had to take multiple days off work, resulting in loss of pay, all because they kept assuring me an engineer will come today – over and over again. Their customer service is shockingly poor. They’re all nice and responsive until you pay. Once the payment is done, you’re just ignored and mistreated. Zero accountability, no updates, and no real urgency to fix the mess they created. This company has caused me nothing but stress and financial loss. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone – not even to my worst enemy. Avoid Heatable at all costs. Don’t fall for their promises like I did.

Unfortunately I've reached the conclusion this company has no interest in helping me despite the fact I've paid a £1,800 deposit for an install which was originally supposed to happen on the 27th August. My order was to be upgraded and I provided all the info required to provide the new quote to Sophie as she requested on the 20th August. I NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE. I received an email from Adam in the 22nd August to say he had been trying to contact me and so I returned his call. To my suprise Adam was taking about my original order and wasn't aware I was waiting on a new quote but he did manage to find my email to Sophie, he apologised and assured me they would call me back in an hour or so. This was late on Friday afternoon of a bank holiday, I NEVER RECEIVED THE CALL BACK. I then spoke to an agent who's name I forget on the 26th, (since the Monday 25th was a bank holiday). It was at that point less than 24 hours away from my appointment and I still had no idea what the new plans where or the expected cost. The agent said they would cancel the appointment (at my request) and that they would contact me ASAP with the new quote and to arrange installation. I figured I'd be somewhat patient and wait until this week to give them time to make contact. Was really hoping and expecting a phone call or an email today finally. It's now late in the afternoon on the 1st September and I still have no clue what is happening, how much the job is to be when it can be done what is happening with my deposit. Starting to feel very disheartened to be honest, each customer service agent I have spoken too has been very nice but not one of them has done as they promised or took ownership. I'll update this review with the outcome which I hope will be resolved by the end of this week.

From start to finish, the process was incredibly smooth. A huge shout-out to Isabel who was an absolute star – she responded to all my emails super quickly, even after months of my various questions. She was consistently friendly, helpful, and truly a pleasure to deal with. Hannah also deserves a special mention for efficiently arranging JDM Earth to carry out the installation. Speaking of JDM Earth, they were fantastic! I checked their five-star reviews online before agreeing, and they certainly lived up to their reputation. The entire installation was seamless. The heatable.co.uk website itself made the planning stage a breeze. It was so easy to use, letting me figure out how many panels would fit on my roof, and any tailored adjustments I requested were handled perfectly by Isabel. And let's not forget their YouTube channel – it's brilliant! The videos are not only informative but also genuinely funny and incredibly well-edited. I was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience!

I had a bit of a rough time with other solar companies, they all seemed to be saying the same thing, and it didn't feel right. Thankfully, a friend pointed me towards Heatable, and I'm really glad they did. Paul was fantastic, super knowledgeable and straight-up, and even helped me with a tariff question after the install. With so many solar companies out there, you'd be doing yourself a favour to talk to Heatable

Absolutely brilliant service from Heatable. Only 2 days from ordering to installing our new boiler. The contractors from Roda properties that arrived to fit our boiler were brilliant, cleaned up after themselves and fully explained how to use our new boiler before leaving. Would 100% recommend and use again in the future

We had our boiler conversion done via heatable, the process from start to end has been smooth. Heatable was very good on price too. We was appointed Dan Brown as out appointed fitter. He was very professional and clean with his work, he explained everything in depth to me and my wife. Overall great experience and fitter.

The two men that came out were punctual, tidy, friendly, thorough and really took pride in their work. They spent time answering my questions at the end and I would definitely recommend using Heatable.

Suly did an amazing job installing my new boiler. The boiler wasn’t in the best position in a fully fitted kitchen but he managed to fit it and even tidy up the pipe work from the old boiler.
