Everybody from the receptionist to the team of installers, they were excellent i cannot praised them more for their service, friendly and trustworthy. i want to thank Sophie from the reception office. She was so helpful and informative and prompt at replying to all my calls Excellent and efficient company.

Very disappointed with aftercare

I have issues with the install, it was not done how it was agreed in the survey. It looks awful, like he was short on cable and tried to make it work. Wasn't asked about the changes. The electrician tripped a circuit during install and am now having constant problems with that circuit now, never an issue with it beforehand. When scaffolders removed scaffolding, they damaged the property, they advised they would be back to put things right but never returned. Ups solar has ignored emails about rectifying these issues. The solar and battery otherwise seem to be generating electricity.

Fantastic Service

From the initial call to the install of panels and battery everything went really smoothly. The fitters both Joe and Adam were brilliant and installed in a day. I would thoroughly recommend UPS solar to anyone.

From initial quote to installation UPS Solar were very professional. The quote was a best price straight off, no salesman patter “ I’ll phone my manager to see if there’s a deal” etc. Joe & Adam, the installers arrived on time, did the works efficiently and tidy. Even going beyond the norm when they discovered some cracked roof tiles - Joe looked up local supplier where I collected replacements and they fitted them under the panels. Joe explained system showed me the App. I force charged the batteries overnight on cheap night tariff and used it next day! I have already recommended them to a friend

Great company to have your solar panels…

Great company to have your solar panels installed and at competitive prices. I changed my initial purchase to add a car charger and 5 extra solar panels and they accommodated that without a fuss. Friendly staff , helpful and always picking up the phone. The installers were very helpful and courteous. On the last day of the install the installers stayed until 8pm to finish off and worked tirelessly through miserable weather. Post install , all the paperwork arrived promptly. I am a very happy customer. I will update the review at a later date to see how the support is from them going forward.

I've just had solar and a battery fitted by UPS Solar. I have to say from start to finish the service and quality of the work has been amazing. I've thought about getting it fitted for a while and I'm so glad I went with UPS. My initial contact was with Sophie who was great, very knowledgeable and kept me updated throughout the process. Initial quotes were delivered quickly and she took care of everything else whilst keeping me updated with texts and emails. They arranged the scaffolding which was installed exactly when they said it would be. The chaps who did the install were great, I only got Roberts name but the others worked in the cold and did a really neat job with the cable run, while Robert did a great job of routing the cable from the battery to the fuse board. Post installation my app login and next steps were clearly explained. If you are thinking of Solar I wouldn't hesitate and get in touch with UPS for a 1st class service.

Phil and Joe did the install, very polite and professional. They cleaned up after they finished and took away all the rubbish. They explained how to use the app . The workmanship was neat and tidy. Done and dusted in 2 days I would recommend this company and these installers

Quick and simple

When trying to decide on a solar install there are a huge amount of companies out there and I spoke to quite a few before deciding on UPS Solar. The initial chats weren't salesy and they were one of the cheaper quotes I had. They told me a couple of pre-requisites I needed to carry out and from there the scaffolding went up and the install was all done in less than a week! The scaffolders and solar team gave explanations at each stage and were quiet as they could be, so no real disruption. The only minor thing was a bit of confusion around the location of the inverter and battery. This had to be changed last minute but didn't really cause an issue. Communication has been good and no doubt I'll be in touch for technical support in the coming early days.

From start to finish the installation went like clockwork the installers were extremely helpful and accommodating.We had employed Ups Solar on a recommendation of a member of the family. 18 months later our broadband router had to be changed requiring the re-programming of the app supplying system data. This we found gave rise to problems. We contacted Phil Davies, Technical Support, for help. He went more than the extra mile to direct us to a successful outcome. Well done Ups Solar and thank you Phil.

Service after installation

Most important part is service provide to client after the installation. They are doing perfect job with minimum possible time. Engineer Phil Devis attend the issues with possible minimum time avoid the loss for my revenue. My dongle is malfunction and they replaced it with reasonable time. UPS solar need to find a solution to battery temperature issue in winter season. It is huge loss for us specially who has installed heat pump.

Brilliant

What a great company, from the quote to the installation, polite, did everything they said they would, kept up to date on everything. On the install date, everything went as it should, from the panel installers to Robert who installed the battery and connections, always keeping me up to date and showing me everything through the install, had it nearly 2 months, and pleased with everything so far, very happy.
